very, very good. Chicken and Spinach Alfredo Pizza was excellent. Will be back again this weekend. I'll skip the Cesear Salad (weird taste- very wet and skimpy), however, the pizza is worth the drive into town. I am big fan of Mellow Mushroom- but this was better: much better.

Excellent pizza! I ordered a 12" double pepperoni to go and it may have been the best I have had in a long time. Great place! I will definitely be back while I am in town!

Aaaaah-mazing! I asked the locals where I could find a good pizza place, and I am ok with a hole-in-the-wall as long as it's the best. I was not disappointed. There was a long line in the afternoon during the week so I do suggest you call ahead if you are hungry or short on time. I took a bite and fell in love. I will be back.

Friendliest Pizza Tossers in town. Great anti pasta salad and calzones...not to mention great spaghetti and pizza by the slice

I love this pizza. The dough is not too thick, not too thin. Always fresh. We had a large side salad. The salad was fresh, cold, crunchy with a little slivers of purple cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers. It's a good salad for the price and talk about FRESH. Nice to have when the temp outside is 97 degrees. The chicken supreme is what we ordered, but when it came, it was more of a barbecue chicken pizza. Still, very good with lots of flavor. The downside is that every time we come, we are served food on different utensils. Tonight, it was paper plates that are flimsy and can be cut thru easily. Last time, we had plates in the shape of a pizza slice. At least you could use a knife and fork if needed. But, the food is consistently good.

Great local family restaurant. We get takeout from here somewhat often. I get a baked ziti and my sister gets a calzone. Really affordable, the staff is always friendly and the takeout is fast. Nothing too terribly special about this place but we will always come back.

I will begin by saying, I had Bertolo's pizza delivered to my work for lunch and it was excellent. BUT...4 of us went to the restaurant last night. You order and pay as soon as you come in. The girl repeated our order correctly, but forgot 1 of the 2 pizzas on her order. We ate our appetizers. One pizza came (it wasn't very warm and tasted OK). After about 5 min. we asked where the other pizza was; the manager showed us a ticket with only 1 pizza on it. We said she repeated our order with 2 pizzas. They cooked it up quickly. We asked it be temperature hot. The manager gave us 25% off on this one. The people working the area where we ordered had trouble with/understanding simple things (ie-splitting the bill). They need to train their employees. We all ordered a beer. They took a long time bringing 2 beers and then a while longer for the other 2 beers. There was only another couple in the whole place, and they had ordered and were eating. I cant imagine what it would have been like if the restaurant was busy??? We won't be back.

Meh...OK, not great. Had the 20" pizza on paper plates. Really? Probably will not come back.

What a great family run pizza joint. Place was full with many carry out orders as I waited for my food. Very homey feel to this place. The cashier was soooo friendly and smiled and made me feel so welcomed (I was just in town for business and felt like I had been here many times). I decided on the manicotti and a slice of cheese pizza. Price was very reasonable, a little cheap for dinner actually. Portions were nice. The manicotti was good. A lot of flavor in The cheese pizza And the crust was just the right Crispy. The Pizza crust was A thin crust style and was really really tasty. I'll be back before I leave This town And if you're in the mood for pizza I would recommend this place highly.

This is place where you must order at the counter - they'll give you your cups to self-fill at the drink station and then they'll bring the food to you when done. The food is excellent but they have flimsy plastic utensils. OK, so those people that love the New York Style pizza eat it with their hands, but there are those that like to use utensils, too. And there are plenty of other items offered that a sturdier set of utensils would be nice. While we were there, one of the workers ate a salad on her break - she had metal utensils! How about for the other patrons, too.

GREAT pizza! The pizza sauce is delicious and they have a lot of good toppings to chose from like artichoke and garlic. They have really good cannolis too!

This place is awesome! Their food is excellent. I've had the eggplant parm here...it was incredible. I had a cheese steak here and it was amazing. The homemade local bakery they use for their bread makes this sub incredible. I cant say enough good things about this place. Awesome food for affordable prices. Im from the north and have been exposed to real italian food outside of Boston. This place does it right!!!

For New York Style Pizza in South Carolina, this was pretty darn good. The dough here was absolutely amazing and their standard 16" pizza was the perfect thickness, sauce level and cheese amount. I haven't had pizza any place else in Greenville, but this was pretty darn good. I also recommend the Sicilian Pizza (really thick crust, not deep dish chicago style, just really doughy.) It was really good and this dough just had a great flavor and texture. Two things made this a great experience. 1) Red Pepper Flakes, Parmesan, Garlic and Oregano at the table... not every day do you see that... 2) 5 guys ate like kings for $40. Others had different versions of the hot sandwiches and they all looked good, especially the steak and peppers sandwich. Check it out if you are anywhere around Pelham Rd.

Love the food here!! I had a spinach Calzone, and it was awesome. Their sauce is splendid and within walking distance from where I lived (that's ALWAYS a plus). Service was fast and friendly, as one would only expect from anywhere in Grand ol' Greenville, SC!!

This is a great place to go for some New York style pizza. This immediate area has become saturated with pizza joints as of late (I can think of 5 within about 1 square mile though I think American Pie Factory has recently closed), but Bertolo's is definitely my favorite. I have only had the pizza, though the other dishes look very tasty (it's hard for me not to order a pizza). The dough was perfect, very cheesy, and perfectly cooked. You can buy by the slice or a whole pie. Other typical pizza joint fare (wings, sandwiches) fills the rest of the menu. I will certainly be making return trips, though not too often for the sake of my waistline.

Hands down the best NY style pizza around! Amazing flavorful crust with the perfect ratio of cheese and sauce. I've tried several of their Italian dishes, and they are quite tasty as well.

Food was dominant, they even stayed open after we ordered 5 min before they were supposed to close and served us beer until we were ready to leave. Very nice people working here, and not bad on the price.
