Happened upon this place accidentally on the way home from a trip a few years ago. So happy to have found it! I live about forty minutes away, but it's worth the drive if I'm awake early enough to have breakfast. I have only ever tried the Irish Breakfast because it's so freaking good that I can't bring myself to stray. I'm a huge fan of their potato cakes. They are perfectly seasoned mashed potato patties with a light, slightly crispy outer crust. I would pay someone lots of money to deliver them to me at my whim if it were possible. Yum. The service is friendly and fast, it's always been bustling when I've gone there. Super clean and the decor is cute. Love this place.

This is a great diner in Westerly, Rhode Island. It's in a cute shopping center a few miles away from the beach where we were staying. You definitely need a car to get here. Very charming decor, lots of cute and funny signs and slogans about Irish culture. There's plenty to chose from on the breakfast menu- eggs, omelette, pancakes, French toast and breakfast sandwiches. They also have daily breakfast specials which are worth checking out. Food was good, the first visit I had raisin bread French toast, and the second visit I had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll. My friends enjoyed their eggs, and the kids French toast sticks were adorable, but deep fried and pretty greasy once they cooled off. Service was great. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. Also the coffee was surprisingly good. They brought crayons and coloring page style placemats for the kids, and as we left each child got to pick a toy from the you box.

I love love love Kelley's Deli. I eat here probably twice a month for lunch since my work is right around the corner. The front counter staff is always very pleasant and chatty if they're not getting slammed. I've NEVER had a bad meal here. Favorites are the Irish Lunch, Grilled Raisin Bread Chicken Salad and the footlong hotdog with sauerkraut. YUMMMMMMM.

We were "hiding out for the weekend" in a cabin over in Charlestown and wanted a hearty breakfast without having to do all the work. Score! Trust the yelp. We went back the next morning before leaving. Yummy. Try something new. Thank You.

Great food, great helpings, great pricing! Very friendly staff... Owner Kevin is great if you get a chance to meet him while he's not busy in the kitchen! Nice "Irish" flair as well!! Go for the Irish Benedict with a side of Hash... Your belly will say "Thank you!"

I give it 4 stars because i don't give 5 unless it is a life changing experience. My second trip to Kelley's. Service was great. Waiter was polite, personable, and quick. I had an Irish b-fast. Eggs are eggs, they were done correctly. Bangers are great, flavorful and juicy. Irish potato cakes were perfect. Nicely browned on the outside, soft and hot inside...so good. I will go back. Both trips there were great food, great value.

I may be a bit biased because my mon worked there for quite a few years but... I love this place!!! The owners Shannon and Kevin Kelley are some of the nicest people I've ever met and love their business/food and take Irish culture to heart. Even after my mom left Kelley's I continued to visit with friends and family for lunch or breakfast. The prices are very good, and the service is always friendly and everyone is willing to help you and give you refills! It's a clean and friendly environment that you'll never forget. When i go for breakfast i usually get the cheese omelet (with provolone), which comes with home fries and Italian bread (they have many different kinds). Sometimes I even get their breakfast sandwich to take home because it's soo good. Usually I go to breakfast with 3 people and the bill is always around $30. $10 for a great breakfast is great, and most of their food is under $10 anyway. Other than that for lunch try the potato chowder and the Swiss mushroom burger! Yum!! I recently moved to New Jersey and this is definitely one I the places I miss the most, haven't found a place nearly as good here. Go and I promise a great experience- but you might want to go early on weekend, it's an extremely popular place and usually a big line!

Went for lunch & four of us were seated at a relatively small table so we were kind of smushed together- perhaps because we had kids with us? At least we all like each other. Anyway, the food was good. I had a baked potato soup that was very tasty, the kids enjoyed their sandwiches as did my husband. It's a cute little restaurant & the breakfast menu looks good- we'll probably go back to try breakfast in the near future (wish they served breakfast all day). Four of us ate for less than $20, which is amazing, & everyone was pleased. Not overwhelmed, but perfectly content. The menu is a bit confusing as the breakfast menu is prominently featured, even though they don't serve it for more than half of their day... we figured it out though, so I guess it's not that confusing. I had to ask about the soup because it's not on their menu at all- my husband had noticed it when we walked in on the board. Only my mentioning that I really wished they had soup made him say, "oh- I think they do!" & then the waitress told us which soups they offered... so I wish they'd add a "soup of the day" to the menu (or if it's there, I didn't see it). But we'll definitely return- I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast.

It is a forty five minute drive for us to get breakfast, but we cannot wait to go back! We checked out the menu before we went and knew we had to visit. "banger and whiskey onions" is an omelet to die for. So is the "irish benedict" (my only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the corned beef was not sliced from from a roast it was out of a can) We are raving about this place, we were happy to then visit downtown Main Street area and the new Chinese bakery, also fabulous!

If you aren't impressed by the witty and often hilarious Irish signs and pictures on the walls, then you will be impressed by the food. They don't serve any beer, which is an oxymoron for an Irish restaurant, but the quality of the food makes up for the glaring lack of traditional Irish beverage. The pancakes are fluffy and gridled to golden perfection, especially when paired with melted chocolate chips. The benedictions are overflowing with meat and hollandaise and everything is abundant in flavor. The staff is friendly and clearly all the employees enjoy working at Kelley's. The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars was because 1, the hash that they served me came out of a can (though it was still nice and crispy), and 2, I paid $3.75 for a side of hash, and the portion was about the size of my palm (and I have tiny Barbie-doll hands as my dad likes to say). The place is always busy and loud, as Irish places ought to be, and it is hands down the best breakfast place I have ever eaten at. If you are in Rhode Island make sure you stop by this green little hole in the wall! You won't be disappointed in anything except the smallish portions.

Don't let the name fool you! I've been here quite a few times and never thought of asking them to slice me some meat or cheese. The food has always been simple but steller. I've had the most awesome pancakes and a delicious wrap here. Also the service has always been super friendly and efficient. The hours are a little limited (usually in the morning till say maybe 2pm) and the prices are dang reasonable until you start adding on things and then it adds up fast. Park in the lot next to the post office and just use the cross walk to their door. Finding street parking can be a little tough.

Really good breakfast. Slightly different take on a few traditional items but tastefully done. If i was more local I would frequent it more often. Definitely a must try!!!!

I've eaten there several times and it's always terrific. The split pea soup is wonderful as is their signature potato and cheddar soup. My favorite sandwich is the chicken salad with dried cranberries served on toasted raisin bread. The lightly butterd toast is such a delicious compliment to the sweetness of the cranberries and raisins.

The best. Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough for breakfast. Ended up eating there by (good) luck. Excellent food. Excellent service. We will go out of our way to go back again.

The best breakfast and lunch in the entire area is here. I am always drawn to their specials. They are always surprising. This weekend I had a breakfast that was a combination of eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. It was delicious Along with good food, they have a great staff. They make the great food experience even better. The coffee flows from the minute you sit down until you leave. It is not as fancy as the Watch Hill places, but it is better than any others.
