I was absolutely surprised by Eddie's! Almost as if I was in KC, or Springfield MO. Eddie ROCKS the BBQ sports fans!! I had a brisket cheese grill that was off the hook delicious, and the accompanying fries were fabulous. The plan was to have them cater for the class I was teaching, but being a government agency, this wouldn't be prudent. REgardless, if you want some out of this world BBQ in RI, hit up Eddie's.

I am yelping about the food truck. It was the best option in terms of price, taste and portion size. It really hit the spot and we highly recommend!

Best BBQ around, every time I go to the truck or the restaurant now on Boston Neck RD, I get a great meal and their staff is very friendly and accommodating. The Pulled Pork is out of this world, love the fries too! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu

Place is great, the food is delicious from the pulled fork reuben, the pulled chicken burrito and the fried chicken sandwich special it's all DELICIOUS and so filling. Their hand cut french fries put the sandwich or entree over the top. I could go on and on about the vast array of awesome food but the last thing. About the food is order the cornbread. The owner and his employees are very kind and treat the customers very well. I've seen the food truck at catered events too and I've thought what a great idea! I would highly recommend this place/truck!!!!

Always searching for good barbecue since relocating here. This review is solely based on the ribs. My general rule of thumb is if I can make it better I ain't coming back. The ribs had a very interesting rub, definitely had cinnamon. Did not like. Secondly, the ratio of rub to meat was way too high. Even after I wiped off both sides of the meat, it was still pretty potent. Meat texture okay, tender yet not mushy. Not much smoke flavor, if any.

Good food but when it comes to service Eddies needs to stick to the food truck. No coleslaw made for the day at noon, but we were never told until we asked when it was not on the plate. We were still charged though and never had any. The cook's children were running around and screaming as we ate. He yelled at them only after they ran through the prep/ cooking area but it just continued. Make sure you use the bathroom beforehand. They will not let you use theirs. We will never be back.

I just stopped here on my way back from a job in Narragansett. WOW ! might be the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. And that includes, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. Hot and juicy, cold crunch from the slaw. Just an amazing meal. What's better than a boring day running between jobs that gets interrupted by a great lunch. Thanks Eddie !

No frills, just good food. We found Eddie's at a Taste Narragansett event a few years ago when he was running a truck. I went to the truck but now he's opened this little hole-one-the-wall place and it's great. Try the brisket grilled cheese!

We first discovered Eddie's BBQ at the Newport Waterfront Blue & BBQ Festival. What a treat! There were many BBQ choices, but Eddie's featured a pulled pork grilled cheese. Grilled Cheese is a great comfort food and we both decided to try it. It's on a grilled garlic Texas toast and is OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious! We actually had 2 each that day. When we saw Eddie's BBQ was a featured food truck at the Narragansett Town Beach, we were there to enjoy their food in our own town. The Texas toast grilled cheese was not available, but Steve agreed to make us grilled cheese with plain ole white bread. Almost as good as with the garlic, but still WONDERFUL! We returned with our sons and their friends and Eddie's once again did not disappoint and we also tried the fish tacos and pulled pork quesadillas. If you're in Narragansett Wednesday evening, make sure you visit the food trucks in the Narragansett Beach. They'll be there through the end of October. Chris & Steve Sullivan Narragansett, RI

Where to start? I've had meals from both the Eddies BBQ food truck and the brick and mortar location. Both have been fantastic. So good in fact that this past weekend they catered my wedding. Steven the owner was so helpful and accommodating with help planning the menu. We went with the pulled pork and brisket as the meat options. Pulled pork was great and the brisket is out of this world. His secret rub on the brisket just makes it. On to the sides the squash and cranberry hash is my now wife and I's favorite that you have to get at the main restaurant. We also had the slaw, Mac and cheese, mixed seasonal veggies and cornbread to die for. The cornbread got rave reviews from all the guests. He also brought a ton of rolls for everyone to make sandwiches too. If you want a great BBQ caterer Eddies BBQ is your man. He fed about 175 people with ease. Plus the reaction of the guests when the food truck pulls up is fantastic. Everything about this place is on point from the service to food. I can't say enough good things about this local business!

Don't judge a kitchen by the building that houses it. Eddie's is a diamond in the rough! Very tasty BBQ! My wife and I decided to give Eddies a try on a whim and it was awesome. We got the full rack of ribs, a small side of cole slaw and a large side of mac 'n' cheese (actually they use penne so penne 'n' cheese?). The total was $22 plus tax. The ribs were tender and the meat fell off the bone. Super tasty. They use a lot of cinnamon in the rub that gave the meat a unique and full flavor that really hit the spot for us. The mac 'n' cheese was absolutely delicious and very cheesy. The cole slaw was the weak link, however. It was cabbage with pineapple (?) but really didn't carry a lot of flavor. We had to doctor it with a good dose of cider vinegar but still didn't finish it. We got the take out and the food traveled perfectly well. The service was fast and very nice too! We'll definitely keep Eddies in our regular rotation when we visit Narragansett!

I am Yelping about Eddie's brick and mortar shop on Boston Neck Rd. in Narragansett, just across the Street from Bonnet Shores. Their truck is elsewhere, but this locale is their actual storefront. I was on my way to a class in Narragansett and really wanted to try Eddie's BBQ ribs. However, the little teensy tiny shop was so hot inside, I knew I would not be able to sit at the counter for dinner. It was gonna be an "eat dinner in my car tonight" night. Therefore ribs were out of the question. Instead, I ordered the BBQ (or pulled pork) and cheese quesadilla. THEN I spied a guy's leftover French fries and noted that they were the real thing. I amended my order to include the fries. When all was ready, I paid and prepared to dine on this feast in my car. FIRST and do please note, the portions were enough for TWO healthy appetites (or even THREE skinny girls.). I paid $12 even for an awful lot of food, but this food was REALLY good! The French fries were SO good, I actually did ALMOST finish them. I was in a lousy mood from a bad haircut I had just gotten :(, and the fries made me feel a whole lot better! I then had a quarter of the quesadilla. While it was quite good, I think the melted cheese should have been left off the sandwich. In retrospect, I don't think cheese and BBQ go well together. Having said that, I did eat half the quesadilla. There was literally no way I could have finished it. So, this place is actually a steal at $12 for a meal that could have easily and generously fed two. I sure wish the shop had A/C and some tables. BUT it is what it is. It's a great place for carry out, but sadly not convenient to where I live, so it's gonna be more Eddie's BBQ on the front seat of my car if I want to have it again. Next time I'm bringing a LARGE BIB and some Wet-Wipes, and ordering the ribs!! For sure! :-)

Not Good BBQ. Went there ordered a pulled pork sandwich. Seriously bad, down to the sides. Pork I think had been sitting around, the corn bread tastes like a piece of cake, the coleslaw was old (it was mushy & had no flavor) and the worst was the potato salad. Gross, drenched in mayo, & no flavor. This place is sad. Would not recommend. Tip: don't use their bathroom... It looks like a bathroom found in a guy's college dorm. Over: waste of 12$ Tip: drive to CT & try dinosaur BBQ! Now that's awesome BBQ

I been wanting to come here for a while now. I'm always looking for a bbq joint and I have heard great reviews and was in the area from our drive to fantastic umbrella factory. Pull pork sandwich, bacon cheeseburger and mac&cheese. Definitely be back

We've eaten here twice now on the way to the beach. Great bbq! Prices are very reasonable and food is great. Great service. I had the pulled pork Reuben. It was fabulous! Apparently they cater as well. Will definitely be back!

Tried a pulled pork sandwich at the Narragansett Art Festival today. Looking at the hand written sign, that looked pretty good. When ordering, with "cole slaw?" was mentioned. I said sure! Is there some Pineapple in that slaw? Very nice sandwich. Never heard of Eddie and his BBQ but if I see his truck I'll be back for some more. If you see the truck spend a buck or few and get some good eats!

We had a great time sampling at the Narragansett food truck evening. At Eddies's BBQ I had the Pulled pork sandwich and an order of corn bread. The pork was nice and tender, the sauce was just enough flavor without going overboard. The slaw takes the sandwich to another level, great recipe! I also enjoyed the cornbread, it was moist and a tad sweat.
