Oh Buster Krab... you make me so mad. I loved this place in the past. The drinks are yummy and the lobster roll...that lobster roll...It was something I dreamt of.....until this last visit. It says on the menu you can have it hot...HOT! YES!! Mine came out cold.....I told my waitress...this is supposed to be hot... Oh sorry... What did she do?? She stuck it under the Salamander.....and broiled it. What? whatttttttt? I stared at her...I didn't want to complain.....I bit my tongue and asked for a side of melted butter and did it myself. I LOVE lobster and I don't mind paying for it...but when it's costing you $28.00... you should get it how you want it and educate your staff on how it should properly be done. I'm not saying I won't be back because this place, in the past...has been everything I've wanted and more.... I was just extremely bummed this time.

Well, my husband was craving seafood for fathers day so we drove down to Narragansett. We decided to try something new instead of Georges. I had heard about Buster Krabs through their other restaurant The Abby. The place was cute, an outdoor beach feel with picnic tables and fake palm trees. I wanted the fried oysters but sadly they had a problem with their distributor which I thought was odd since they have plenty of fishing boats pulling in across the street. I settled for their Krabby Patties or crab cakes. They were soggy and mushy. It tasted like canned crab with some spice and a lot of celery and red pepper. From the sauces and cole slaw it all tasted pre packaged. My husband got the fried clams which he said was ok. The best part was my daughters mac and cheese which came in a car topped with a hotdog octopus and gold fish crackers lol

Great staff, awesome personalities and great up selling. Their lobster roll is just like they describe, most expensive and it is colossal! Will definitely be back before the end of the season.

Absolutely not impressed. The clam cakes are over cooked time and time again. The fish and chips are run of the mill and way over priced. Toooo many better places to go.

Below average. Though it would be nice night with a large party. They would not do separate checks. We asked and they said that would do gluten free but served broiled scallops with breading. :( Drinks over priced. The menu prices online do not match the current menu prices. Burgers and chicken sandwiches over cooked. Scallops and bacon sandwich had flavor, the lobster sandwich did not! But it did have bones...yum :( Apps were good. I would not return.

great location.. Bloody Mary was on point .. service a little slow but seems normal around here

We decided to try Busters instead of our usual place and it was okay. The location is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. I had the fish tacos. They were perfectly prepared except for the salsa. Sadly it didn't taste homemade, but it had a spicy flavor to it. My wife's fish sandwich actually looked like a frozen piece of fish. The kids burgers looked good, but I expected a bit more from a place that has burger bar in their name.

  • Dan B.

Food was just Ok. I had the fish tacos, flavor was good but as soon as you picked one up about an ounce of liquid pored out . Corn was way over done. Burgers were good chicken ceasar wrap was good as well. Over all not bad but way over priced. Lunch for 4 with drinks $150.00 including tip that's a little much for what you get

so cheerful attentive service. a good start and thats the highlight. i cannot recommend this place. burgers not made on premise frozen then nuked, for that price ...nah. the krabby patty was a sloppy mess. should have been served with a spoon or maybe a straw. they had a local craft beer on draft but replaced it with coors light. and lastly who if any one working or eating here even know who "Buster Krabbe" is?

As an avid Champlins goer my whole life, my family and I had decided to take a chance and try it here. We had the boiled seafood platter, lobster mac, chowder which were all delish!!!! The crab legs were very tasty and Mac n cheese was so cheesy and loaded with lobster meat! Our kids had chicken fingers, fries, and mozzarella sticks; they were pretty basic. We did find it to be a bit pricey considering it's a "clam shack" but the live music was a nice touch to our late lunch! I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone that's in the area after a beach day or that just wants a fresh seafood meal.

We thought we would try the crazy "new' place (compared to Georges and Champlins that have been there for 15+ years) with the fake palm tree outside of it. It's a tiny restaurant, with most seating on the deck. It was nice enough to sit outside (I'm glad as I think it would be very tight if the deck were not open) Even though there was only one other couple eating, we had to wait for the hostess. The other 4 servers chatting apparently couldn't seat people. Initially, the service was good, but dropped as it got busier from the people getting off the ferry. However, the chowder was very good, and the salad was fresh and good as well. All the restaurants in this area are overpriced for what you get- you are on the water in New England- so even in a tiny shack the seafood was more than you would pay off the water. The drinks are pricey for what you get and on the deck, it's in a small plastic cup of course. Overall? I'd go back to Champlins before here. Just as rustic but better food.

Came here for my anniversary lunch last Sunday. Worst experience I have ever had. We were told to seat ourselves. 15 minutes later, still no menus. My husband finally got up and got them himself. Another 15 minutes to get a drink (it was not busy, but short staffed). The staff that was working felt it was more important to bus tables than wait on us. Already annoyed, we decided not to chance the food on this already over priced menu. We ordered the crab cakes just to have an appetizer because by this point we were both starving. It came out like a ball of dough on the plate. Not even seared on each side. Left and went to George's. I do not mind paying for good food, but NOT horrible service.

Fun times at the bar! Fun summer drinks and great personalities from the tenders. Definitely a good stop after the beach or the ferry!

Would give it a possible 4 star based on the food but definitely know that manager was not on or if he or she were on shame on them. Staff talking inappropriately about people and just unprofessional. Waitress came back once and said "need anything" left so fast could not get my answer to her. Place was dead and shouldn't be. They need live action because the place is cute and great location. Goes to show you how important management is. But food was good and menus was great! Maybe I'll try one more time because there was stuff on the menu I want to try.

Holy smokes. The gin cocktail was fabu. The coconut shrimp decadent, the "most expensive lobster roll" was not the most expensive one I've had (I think it was about $22), but it was huge and delicious. The cole slaw was better than average, the fries were - well fries. The fish tacos were fresh but didn't knock my socks off. Overall, this was a fun meal - close to both the BI ferry in Pt. Judith as well as the beach... a nice, relaxing outdoor location for a mellow summer meal and mini-get-away without having to leave mainland RI.

Warning this is a review by a native southern Rhode Islander. We are seafood connoisseurs. We eat fresh seafood year round. Our favorite restaurants literally harvest their own shellfish from their own salt water farms daily in February. We are the most spoiled people on earth when it comes to seafood. Our grocery stores even buy fish directly off the boat year round. That being said. I would not eat at this crab shack again. Ever. Unless I was from Connecticut or New York. (People from New York and Connecticut have no idea what they are talking about) *they are basically human pollution on Rhode Island beaches. I don't even know what to say about this restaurant. It was like one of those places on restaurant stakeout. Basically a sit wherever you want attitude. Waitresses had no idea whose section we were in. We watched a waitress walk around with a tray of food very confused for several minutes. We waited a long time and the food came out in an odd sequence. Literally un managed. It seemed like local fresh food, but the preparation was weird. Murky chowder. Burned salt less clamcakes. Clumpy lobster bisque. Just weird. We really shouldn't have gone to this area for food. This is a tourist trap neighborhood. Locals don't eat on this road. We were here on a whim. We were just really hungry. One star worthy but the waitresses did their best, they were nice, and the shorts were short, but other than that seafood seekers beware. Go to matunuck oyster.

Argh, Matey. This place did not even come close to shiverin' me timbers. Service - Dismal. Our waitress strolled us by a few laps and after taking orders at tables that arrived after us, finally "found" us. Watched our drinks sit at the bar waiting for pickup. Had to chase down our check at then end of the night. Hate that. Food - Crab cake had potential but it was served a bit on the chilly side...(and incidentally before our drinks arrived from the bar). Ribs were *blech* according to my landlubber dining companion. Had a bite to try - tender but loaded with fatty pockets and tasteless. (I wouldn't have minded the fat if had been at least a bit crispy. Alas, no). They were steam roasted and then bathed in a very unexceptional BBQ sauce. Drinks - (When they finally came...)House Blood Mary - WOW! yum, yum, yum. Spicy, flavorful mix with a skewer stacked with slices of bacon and chunks of creamy avocado. Coronita Margarita was also tasty. Had to try this interesting take on a margarita since I've seen it before but never ventured to dive in. Done up right with a mini Corona bottle upside down, suspended over a fishbowl margarita that wasn't too sweet, nor sour. Atmosphere - Sucky. It is literally on the inside of the Point Judith traffic rotary right next to a trailer park / parking lot. Sure. You can tell they did put some effort into the decor, but still yuck. If I walk out of a place with a tab over a 50 spot for light bites and a couple drinks, gimme something decent to look at. And I know they're trying to be cute but I just can't stand places that intentionally misspell a well-known word in the name of the restaurant. My own pet peeve, but it drives me KRAZY. A good spot to throw back a few if you have zero desire to even realize you're down near some of the finest waterfront views around.

Back again, and I love this place. Consistently delicious food, and excellent service. Got a burger this time which was excellent - fresh, hand formed patty cooked to order and grilled to perfection. I got a chance to shoot the breeze with one of the owners and she told me that they do the burgers here the just like they do at their other 2 restaurants, The Abbey, and The American. Also had the krabby kakes and they were just as great as last time. 2 large cakes of fresh lump crab, not much filler, and a killer remoulade and really good coleslaw on the side. Add to the mix some chill reggae tunes, nice relaxed atmosphere, ballgame on the t.v. and this is a winner.

Definitely a go to bar/restaurant near the block island ferry and salty brine beach. We enjoyed sitting outside and eating the coconut shrimp, HUGE lobster roll with coleslaw and fries (very fresh coleslaw!), and finally the fish tacos. I didn't care for the sweeter sauce on the fish tacos, but overall it was good. Drinks are fun and fresh. Service was good/chill. Overall layout is beachy and relaxing. Great proximity to parking/beach/seafood stores (you can buy cheap lobster by the pound across the street).

  • Heather K.

Like the beach bar atmosphere, though you can't actually see the water, or the beach, and believe it or not, THEY HAVE NO CRABS! Just crab cakes, which my husband said were so-so - a lot of filler. Great service though, and pretty good sandwiches.

We had a great time and delicious meal. Our waiter, Vincent, was attentive and most helpful. We agreed that he provided the best service we've seen in a while. The fish tacos and spinach dip with crabmeat were delicious. We'll definitely return soon.

My husband and I wanderd in to Buster Krabs just out of curiosiy and stayed for a drink which turned into a dinner for 15 when my cousins arrived at our insistence that they come check out the very intersting menu, it has great variety even for non seafood lovers. When a kitchen gets slammed that hard with only two guys running it, serving it and tending bar you might be nervous about the quality and consistancy of the food but no one was disappointed! From the first delicious Clam Cakes and Spnach w/ Clam Dip appy ( there was a battle going on over the three that were ordered it was that good ) to the Fish Tacos ( huge chunks of fish, not scraps lke other joints) and Octopus dogs for the kids it was awesome! It's not the cheapest food on the strip but it IS the BEST food on the strip. If you are in Galilee, heck if you are in Rhody put Buster Krabs on you go to list. Worh the trip!

I ordered the macaroni and lobster cheese. For the price you would think there would be more lobster than just on the top.

Went for appetizers and drinks. The wings were awesome so was coconut shrimp. Megan had skills behind the bar and taught us some cool beer cocktails. Great place.

Who would have thought Lobster Quesilla's and french fries in a car with a little malt vinegar would be one of the best dinners ever. Seriously, it was so delicious and our server Kate was the sweetest thing. A nice place to grab a bite to eat and a refreshing beverage on a summer night or even during the day waiting to catch the ferry. Sit indoor or out and watch the ferry flow by. Not sure what the drink was called but it has gin and watermelon and it was amazing! I had no idea this place was so close to the beach and located so close to where I park for the Block Island ferry. I'll go back the next time I'm in the area :) Its a must try!

Saturday, July 14, 2012 will now be remembered as the day I ate quite possibly the best sandwich in my 29 years. I came to Buster Krab's expecting to be blown away by the 1/2 pound lobster roll. But even if I had low expectations for it, I still don't think I would have liked it. The pieces of lobster were small and stringy, not juicy and plump. I wasn't a fan of the seasoning, either. I didn't like the bed of lettuce the lobster sat on, and I didn't like the celery mixed in it. I guess I typically like my lobster rolls au naturel, or with some addicting savory seasoning... some of my faves are Luke's Lobster in NYC and Neptune Oyster in Boston. I don't like a lot of other unnecessary stuff in my lobster rolls. Needless to say, I was disappointed. So that was the bad. Now, for the extremely good. I had the mother of all sandwiches here: The World's Most "Fame Is a Given" Sandwich, aka the scallop & bacon roll. We were actually thisclose to not ordering it. Since Buster Krab's calls itself a "Burger Shack and Beach Bar," we almost got a burger instead to go with our lobster roll. But then the scallop and bacon roll on the menu caught my eye. I hadn't seen this sandwich offered at any other restaurant, and I am someone who strongly believes bacon makes everything tastes better. Besides, who doesn't love bacon-wrapped scallops?? Just read this description, straight from their menu: "Succulent sea scallops, married with our own Krispy kracker krumb topping & broiled to sweet perfection in buttery goodness. Three pieces of thick cut smoked bacon accompany this angel lying on a leaf of fresh Romaine, a bed of our own Cajun Remoulade sauce & gingerly delivered to you on a hollowed out toasted buttered Torpedo roll." The sauce was ridiculous. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The bacon was juicy. The roll was toasty on the outside and soft on the inside. And oh yes, this also weighed in at a 1/2 pound. It was hands down one of the best sandwiches ever. The seasoning on the fries was great, and the pasta salad was flavorful. I didn't try the cole slaw, but my boyfriend said it was nothing special. He liked the lobster roll, but he was also really wowed by the scallop roll. If you're in Narragansett, Newport, Providence, or anywhere in RI, a trip to Buster Krab's in Galilee is worth it. The scallop and bacon roll here was the best $21.99 I ever spent.

Labor day. Sunny. Warm. A light breeze. Ahh, another perfect opportunity to sample the bucket of Coronas (4 for $13.99) and a bit more of the menu. I had the fish sandwich which was done perfectly. A light golden brown and within that light deep-fried batter was fresh, wonderful fish. Served with the Da Kine fries. YUM! Wife had the mahi mahi, steamed vegetables and Da Kine fries. Another winner. One other entree was sampled and that was "The Aristokrat" burger. A big, juicy burger topped with lump crabmeat and hollandaise. Rocking! Service was, as it has been before, excellent. Glad to see the consistency in service and food quality.

One of the best bar choices in South County all summer long. The service can be slow, but is always helpful and friendly. Limited beer selection, but what they have is cold and refreshing. Better than average bar food and mixed drinks, some great appetizer choices including crab claws with drawn butter and da' kine cheese and bacon fries.

"Burger Shack & Beach Bar" Pleasant place to kill an afternoon with good food and drink. Their lobster roll is huge - not served on a hot dog roll but in a carved out torpedo roll stuffed with 8 ounces of chunks of lobster. I went with the Da Kine fries with horseradish dip & coleslaw as sides, mmm. My wife went with the crabcakes, I faked her out a bit with the ol "hey look at the seagulls" trick and grabbed one of them (she didn't need all three of 'em), it was pretty tastey but I would say more on the bread & spicey side than crab side yet still good. It all went good with a few Narragansett beers, they were so good they ran out and I switched over to Harpoon. Great experience combined with a dip at Salty Brine State Beach located right across the street or while waiting for the Block Island Ferry.

I've been here 4 times over the past two summers, and it is always fresh and delicious! Everything is good here! It's great for some friends after work, or even to bring the kinds for a quick bite to eat and an afternoon cocktail. They even have a cute kids menu, in which they make mac and cheese with an octapus hot dog in a little cardboard car! It's so cute! BTW-- need to get the Buster Bowl--- its a scorpion bowl meets Tiki Bar! Amazing! Get a driver!

Had the krabby cake and was flavorful. The clam chowder soup was hot and really good. Outside seating with live music playing in the background capped this day with excellent wait staff. Would recommend.

Great place to have a beer and some food while enjoying some sun outside. The manager Sean is such a great guy and all of the staff is so friendly to everybody that comes through! Highly recommended for lunch in galilee especially getting on and off the ferry from block island. Each item I've had on the menu was delicious!

Early June, Friday afternoon dinner we drove down to Galilee. Our main purpose: to eat at Buster Krab's. The sky is cloudy but not scary; the breeze is light and easy. We waited to be seated, not long. we are lead to a picnic table on the porch. It's a solid table, room enough for four. We can see the Tiki Bar, the Co-op, Champlin's and George's across the street. Dad is with us today. We planned this like we usually do to make sure he is comfortable. Except we are outside and not inside. The breeze upsets him as well as the sun. Luckily it is cloudy enough that he's doesn't become too upset. I always like to see what is on the menu so that I can make suggestions for my Father. He has a hard time deciding. I also like to see if things are spicy since Mom can't deal with too many spices. I couldn't find a menu online. Buster Krab's has a facebook page though so I liked it and posted an inquiry on their wall. Almost immediately I was asked for my e-mail address. Results: a menu post haste I was able to download. Excellent, and a very nice menu with a good array of dishes. Specialty burgers, (The Hair of the Dog of particular interest, sauteed onions, an egg, a sausage patty, bacon, mayo and cheese,) to please the burger crowd, seafood (Mahimahi tacos, a HUGE lobster roll a half pound of lobster in a torpedo roll, and the usual suspects of fried seafood,) salads (six different kinds that include a Cobb salad,) as well as chicken in sandwiches and an entree, even a Mac and Cheese dish that you can add seafood to! Good assortment especially so close to the beach. I expected my Father to order the "World's Most Expensive Lobster Roll," It's easy for him to eat and he loves lobster salad. It comes with fries and coleslaw. He ordered the Fish and Chips instead. I should have known better. Any new place baffles him. He orders what he knows. Problem is he peels off the batter coating and only eats the fish inside. Oh well, that was okay because even though it was a puffy batter that coated the fish there was a large chunk of cod inside. The coleslaw that accompanied our meals (except Mom's Fish Tacos which had a fresh fruit salad,) was what my Mom called a German style coleslaw. Lightly marinated in a delicate dressing that had no mayonnaise the cabbage was sliced thin enough to assume the dressing's flavor. Very nice, even though I'm not a big fan of coleslaw in that style; many restaurants can't create the balance that style needs for good flavor. The fries on Dad's plate and mine were spiced and not too salty, a massive amount. I ordered a chicken burrito with a side of guacamole. The plates Dad and I were served our meals on were the size of serving platter! They were covered with our food but in uniform amounts. The burrito was HUGE and was full of vegetables: tomatoes, lettuce, sauteed mushrooms and onions, fresh jalapeños, cheese and black beans. Cheese and jalapeños was sprinkled over the top, a good amount to flavor not overwhelm. I am still stuffed from consuming the whole burrito but could have eaten half and taken the other half home. The coleslaw was cradled in a crisp and fresh romaine leaf which was a light touch. Mom and I shared a bit of our entrees with each other. Her fish tacos were stuffed with the grilled Mahimahi! It was delicious, drippy but fresh. I didn't take too big of a bite so I wasn't able to taste the smoky flavored salsa Mom said was in with the fish. These were no small tacos. Mom was stuffed when she finished. I never drink alcohol when eating with Dad. My Mom is pretty much a teetotaler anyway. Dad had his milk, Mom an iced tea which she said was probably bottled and not fresh brewed since it was presweetened. I had diet Pepsi. They have a Tiki Bar that looks like it has specials on different drinks. There were leis at the hostess counter that gave me that impression with some kind of plastic beer badge on them. Okay, Dad enjoyed his meal but wasn't impressed with the place. That is possibly because he's disabled and prefers darker places that are inside a building. So if you have any elderly guests or family members that have dementia this place may not be the best pick. As for Mom and I we agreed that we will come with out Dad another time since the food is really good and we often come to Galilee. This establishment is summery, perky and open. The food is delicious, the staff is helpful and attentive. You can walk to the beach or from the beach and it's casual. Parking on the other hand will not be easy when summer is in full swing so if you come here find parking first. the lot is small in back, smaller since the patio was put in last year and the on street parking cannot be relied on. Although the Tiki bar is under the roof and there are a few tables and even fewer booths inside with the Tiki Bar, at least half of the tables are outside to take advantage of beautiful summer days. With that in mind, check the weather before you go.

Buster Krab's is a cool, fun little beach shack, with funky old stuff on the walls, a music selection from the early 60's beach movies and Motown, an ice bucket of 4 Corona's for $13, and a surprisingly creative and diverse menu. I mean, you're sitting at picnic tables with colorful umbrellas displaying beer advertising logos, the condiments are contained in Corona buckets on each table, and there is the hustle and bustle of cars whizzing by and the Block Island Ferry and other boat traffic coming in and out... and yet the menu has items on it like Phil's Revenge - "Succulent, tender chunks of fresh Filet Mignon, Wisconsin cheddar cheese, diced red onion, tomatoes, shredded fresh lettuce, and cucumbers, topped with our own ranch dressing & piled high atop a fresh grilled flat bread - $13.99". It was excellent, and they know a thing or two about making good fries, too. It's fun, it's funky, it's got interesting menu choices, the service was good, and the prices were reasonable. Buster Krab's is located on a very busy street, so I'm deducting one star for the location, but while you can get a much better view of the water at Champlin's or George's across the street, there's a good chance that you'll have more fun at Buster Krab's.

The wife and I had the steamers (nicely done, tasty broth), clam cakes (average), and lobster mac & cheese (some very sizable lobster chunks and good flavor). The service was friendly, fast, and efficient. Price was reasonable and the patio setting was splendid. We would go back.

Dinner on a beautiful evening after a day at the beach. Sat on the patio facing the street, but the fence hid the traffic and the street noise. Sun was setting so it was cooling. Kids order salads (yes, salads) - daughter had some hawaiian salad with chicken, pineapple and strawberries (they ran out) on mixed greens and son had a cobb salad. Both were tasty, fresh and bountiful for two small kids (7 and 9). DW had the crabby patty sandwich, which was just okay - lots of breading and no apparent chunks of crab, though we could taste the crab. Came with cole slaw on a large roll. A review said the scallop and bacon sandwich was great so I tried it - very good, lots of large sauteed scallops, strips of bacon on the bottom on a hot dog bun w/ lettuce. Very fresh, very tasty, and a little spicy mayo. Came with fries and slaw. All in all a great meal, price was about $80, which included 3 sodas and one Gansett beer. Will definitely return, especially since they have their own off street parking.

Right off the ferry from a weekend on Block Island, Siri recommended Buster Crabs and I'm so glad she did! Fish & chips were excellent, burger portions are generous, ultimate Mac & cheese was surprisingly good, and the French fries were excellent. The kids meals come in a cardboard classic car they can keep, the staff is super friendly and the outdoor patio is very inviting. Definitely recommended if you're looking for good casual family dining.

We have been going to Rhode Island for family vacations for years. This was a new restaurant, nice location we figured we'd give it a try. The food was average for "bar food" no complaints. We came back for a second time in July of 2012, had some drinks and food. We left to realize we had never recieved our credit card back upon paying the bill...but when we were back in CT! We then called and spoke with someone who said they will mail it to us ASAP. Over a month passed and we did not recieve it, we called and spoke with the manager, ? owner who said " we sent you your credit card stop calling!" and hung up on us! What type of customer service is this. Any manager or owner would never hang up or yell at a customer if they want any type of business. THE MOST AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER SEEN. Not from staff members, but from management! They will never have our buisness again, and I will pass it along to everyone we know!

I absolutely love Buster Krab's, it is a true oasis at the beach! Fun for the whole family, and even a perfect date night spot! Fun Bob Marley tunes playing, Lit Palm Trees, and the Fun and Funky Beach Decor set the mood for a perfect getaway, you forget you are in Rhode Island! Fantastic Food, 14 choice Draft Beers, and Quality Service are what keep John, the kids and I coming back! My girls love the bathroom ceiling decorated with flipflops! Their kids meals come in Classic Cruiser cars, and mom loves the fact they can get a Fresh Fruit cup not Fries. John is working his way through the 12 Signature Burgers they have to offer, 10oz Grade A Beef served on a buttered and toasted sourdough bun, always accompanied by Righteous Fries, and a Signature Dipping Sauce. He washes his meal down with one of Buster's seasonal draft picks. My top 3 picks are the Fish Tacos, Phil's Revenge, and The Konichiwa Sandwich! The Fish Tacos are the best I have EVER had! The homemade salsa, homemade coleslaw and sauce on the Taco's are to die for, such a tasty combination! Michelle's Mango Margarita and the Pankiller drinks are my favorites! Yummmm - O!!! Can't wait for our next visit, we hear they have great Fall Daily Specials, Octoberfest on draft for John, and New Fall Cocktails for me!

Just got home from our first dining experience at Buster Krab's. We set out from NK to head into Narragansett and find a place to eat for our family of 4. We had never heard of this place and found it by random drive-by. Being huge Sponge Bob fans, the signage and decor made us feel like we were entering Bikini Bottom. For our family this is a good thing that made us less aware of the fact that we were sort of in the middle of an intersection and parking lots. We paid $100 before tip for 2 beers, 3 sodas, 2 apps, kids mac n cheese with hot dog, whole belly clam plate, buffalo burger, and snow crab clusters special. No desserts for us as the only options were a Good humor bar or Ben and Jerry ice cream, both of which I had in the freezer at home. Johah Crab Claw app was just average, probably not an item to order again for the $15. However the Great Barrier Reef chips were UNBELIEVABLE! Fresh, thinly sliced potatoes cooked perfectly crisp, topped with a smooth gorganzola sauce and sliced green onions. So good! Clam plate was without complaints from my husband. My 11 yo son got a buffalo burger that did have A LOT of blue cheese on it...too much for his tastes and perhaps even for many adults. But the burger was cooked perfectly medium and otherwise delicious with fries. My 8 yo daughter ordered off the "First Mate" menu. A very tasty shell pasta mac and cheese with a hot dog cut into an octupus sitting on the top. Not sure that the Goldfish crackers were necessary, but my daughter loved it. I love Snow Crab Clusters and do not know of many other places that server them. (Can't do Duffy's anymore, yuk.) The special plate was $18 for 3 good sized clusters packed with meat and a huge portion of french fries. Absolutey delicious, hot with clarified butter, YUM,YUM, YUM!! The only truly negative thing I can say is that the service was not great. There were roughly 10 tables when we arrived and there was a very lengthy delay between placing our drink order and placing our dinner order. Once placed, the food did come out in a timely fashion. The waitress could have been more on top of things. I was left with a plate full of crab to crack open and one napkin. When she came at the end of the meal she did promptly bring more napkins, but I was on my last morsel of crab at that point and covered in juice. I would absolutely go there to eat again and recommend it to friends. It ended up being a very unexpected and pleasant surprise for a Friday night.
