Came with a Groupon for dinner. The design and style of the restaurant is very nice with pleasant soft music playing in the background. There was one server and a hostess, who was very helpful and pleasant, but with only a few tables of customers the restaurant seemed very understaffed. The time between having water brought to the table, to receiving bread 15 minutes later, then the oil for the bread another 10 minutes later, seemed to drag on and on. After hearing in great detail from the waitress the limitations on how the Groupon could be used (she made it clear we could not order only appetizers, which wasn't the plan but she started her speech before asking, and certain main dishes were apparently not allowed with Groupon use) we went ahead and ordered Turkish kofte and chicken kabob dinners. We chose rice and mixed vegetables to come with the ground meat kofte and kabob, and those two items were the stars of the meals. Very tasty rice and a nice side of mixed, grilled veggies. The chicken kabob however was very dry and lacked any real seasoning. The kofte was far more dry, it lacked any moisture at all, and needed to be coated in the, good tasting, white sauce to be eaten. While the ambience is nice with lovely decorations, the long wait-times/staffing issues and sub-par entrees make it hard to recommend.

Great food, friendly staff and atmosphere was great. Got the steak kabobs, they were cooked perfectly, vegetables were delicious with amazing flavors. Definitely will be back again soon.

Appearance: Maybe it's just me but it bothered me that there were 3 different kinds of light fixtures and different bulbs throughout. The lights were very dim and would randomly get brighter or more dim. Clean tables and chairs as well as real flowers in the vases on the tables. Service: Our waitress, Donna, was nice but maybe new to serving? She read the specials off of a piece of paper (not a big deal in my opinion), constantly said that everything was fresh (which kind of made me feel like it would be the opposite because of how much she said it), we waited a while for our drinks (it was not busy enough to justify us waiting as long as we did), and she randomly filled up our glasses with water halfway through the meal despite us having drinks already. The time for water was when we sat down. Midway through the meal, Efendi himself stopped at each table totalk to customers and make sure that everything was ok. Food: While we waited for our food, we munched on bread and dipping oil. The bread tasted fresh and yummy. We got the baba ganoush for an appetizer. Delicious! I wish there had been more pita to eat this with and I preferred the flavor of the bread with the baba ganoush rather than the pita. For our entree I got the mixed kabobs (chicken, lamb & beef) and my boyfriend got the beef kabobs. The meats were cooked perfectly and I really liked the flavors. The veggies were perfectly cooked as well though there was just a little too much dill? on them for my taste but my boyfriend thought it was just right. I enjoyed the food but other than the baba ganoush, it just did not make me say "wow".

Excellent all the way around. Had great food - tried a special of lobster ravioli topped with shrimp in pink vodka sauce. Tas-tee! Hot bread w/oil pleasant. Service was great, and owner came out personally to visit all patrons which says a lot. Top notch for me.

Clean, quaint little Greek place. For an appetizer, we ordered the calamari; it came with a sauce I can best describe as hot sauce with olive slices in it. Not bad. For the main course, I had the Greek Plate, and my date ordered the Chicken Marsala. Her's was quite delicious, and mine was forgettable, honestly. Too much rice and salad, not enough substance. I also ordered a glass of wine, which I sent back because there was quite a lot of lint on the inside of the glass. Would be willing to try again, though.

My boyfriend and I had a Groupon for Efendi's, so we decided to try it for dinner tonight. Best decision of our lives! The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and Efendi made a point to visit every table to ask how everything was and chat a bit. Everything about this place shows how much passion he has for his craft! We started with the calamari appetizer. The sauce is what made the dish! I got the balsamic chicken, and my boyfriend got the lamb kebabs. Both came with rice pilaf and seasoned mixed vegetables. The meats were cooked perfectly! Then we finished off with chocolate cake (they ran out of baklava). I can't stress enough how delicious everything was! The restaurant itself is a cute little place, although it doesn't look like much from the outside. Thank God for the Groupon, or we may never have discovered this place! The only advice I have is bring a sweater- the ac was a little high! :P So yeah, definitely a 5 star experience! From the owner being so hands on and friendly to the cute atmosphere and the amazing food, my boyfriend and I will be going back over and over and over! :)

Just dined at Efendi's for the first time. Quite possibly the best meal I have ever had in any restaurant. Chicken beef and lamb kabobs over roce pilaf. I cannot recommend this restaurant any higher. Absolutely delicious. My mother-in-law had chicken Marsala that had very thick slices of chicken with awesome Marsala sauce. My wife had the Gyro and said it was great. This place is a treasure not to be missed. I will be returning on a regular date with my wife.

We have been going here on and off over the past 6 months since they opened thier new location. We have never had a bad experience. Recently we called and ordered take out and notified girl on phone we had groupon. When We arrived to pick up owner came out of kitchen and would not honor groupon because it was for dine in only. That was not stated in the groupon anywhere. Felt kind of lousy considering weve been going there often. Left a sour taste in my mouth. Well be going elsewhere in the future. No way to treat loyal customers.

Kind of sad, a light bulb was out next to our table, a waitress missed her bus and they were short on staff, my Greek salad lacked dressing and feta. The bread that I had to ask for was stale. We won't return. And as bad as the food was, they ask way too much for it.

So glad to see Efendi's back! Delicious meal, so tasty and appetizing. Will have to return because my friends and I all had a hard time making just one meal choice. So many delicious options on the menu. Friendly staff and the owner came around to chat and check on us. Hoping to see the Triple Berry dessert make a return for our next visit!

Groupon in hand my husband and I venture to Cranston to find this place...it is next to the Bennys on Atwood Ave - made me slightly afraid but I had an open mind(my initial feelings were justified in this case though!). Place is tiny and first thing I noticed was that there was no bar...the alcohol they serve is just kind of piled on a table, odd. I didn't realize the place would be so much more low rent than there other location that used to be on Reservior ave I believe. The waitress was very nice - she was young and probably new, felt bad for her. The food however was not good - the salad was ok but the bread was stale and the oil provided had no taste. I asked for some butter and she brought me a chunk of margarine - yuk! My husband said his kabobs(lamb) were ok but I ordered the chicken marsala and there was not a trace of marsala wine in the entrée, I think it was made with water and chicken broth maybe. In addition to that I selected angel hair as my pasta choice and I was served a slightly slimmer fettuccine. I asked about it and was told it was what they considered angel hair???? I would not bother coming here again even with a Groupon. We gave my leftovers to the dog, she liked it.

THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE and the incompetent staff didn't even know how to redeem a Groupon. We were waiting FOREVER for our food and WAITED OVER 30 MINUTES for the waitress to bring our bill back and got so tired of waiting we even had to go into the kitchen to pay. Even after all that NO ONE WOULD HELP US and the waitress NEVER CAME BACK TO OUR TABLE so we walked out. MY FAMILY WILL NEVER GO BACK and we will tell everyone we know to STAY AWAY from this TRAIN WRECK of a "restaurant".
