We read the wonderful reviews on Yelp and had to stop in when passing through Yardley at the tail end of lunchtime! We agree, Lena's makes a fine sandwich and interesting sides. Our choice was a blackboard special - roast pork and provolone with rosemary aioli on a toasted and pressed long roll. A single sandwich was enough for the both of us, and we shared a side of quinoa salad. The salad boasted a melange of diced fruit and vegetables, including blueberries, mango, cucumber, and peppers. Very refreshing. Cheerful and friendly staff who patiently described all the sides to us newcomers.

My wife and I stopped in for the first time today.. We each ordered a chicken parm sandwich. They were nice-sized. The breaded chicken was crisp on the outside tender and juicy on the inside. The homemade mozzarella was creamy and delicious as was the seeded Italian bread. The sandwich was heated in a press before being wrapped for travel. We ordered three-bean salad and potato salad as sides. The place is a delightful throwback to simpler times and the staff is friendly an efficient. I think we found a new lunchtime favorite.

Brisket sandwich OMG with sautéed mushrooms and gruyere cheese. Fabulous!! Got a side of broccoli salad but I'll eat that later. The sandwich is juicy, generous and flavorful. I got the last one today. I get to eat the other half tonight. So lucky!

Incredible Italian sandwiches from a wonderful family owned and operated restaurant. I stumbled upon this place while visiting the area on my lunch break and I knew for sure that I would be back. Had an incredible sandwich, the Molto Buono, which my coworker also ordered. The bread was as delicious as the flavor packed ingredients in between. "Stick bread" (first time I've heard this name for Italian bread), grilled eggplant, roasted red pepper tapenade, delicious mozzarella cheese, among other ingredients. I come from a family of Italian panini makers in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. And I have to say, this place is a gem in the heart of Yardley, Pa. I'll be back to try just about everything else on the menu.

We stumbled onto Lena's during a biking trip last weekend. This place is a real gem. It oozes visual charm from the inside out. Tastefully decorated with a charming, friendly staff. The food was a terrific payoff for the exterior trappings. We had pannini sandwiches that were delicious and plentiful. We also had a side of a quiona salad that was tasty and unusual. Happy to go back again!! Buon mangiare!

We ordered two party trays of sandwiches for a family party and they were a huge hit! People kept commenting to me how great the sandwiches were! The owner also helped me figure out which sandwiches would be a good choice for the variety of picky eaters that are in our family:) they were really nice to work with and provides great food. We look forward to going back again!

Stick with Landolfi's !! I was in Yardley running errands and thought that I would try Len's Deli. The place has a nice patio in the front with tables. I ordered an Italiano sandwich. The young woman who took my order was friendly and asked all of the proper questions about toppings. She made notations on the order slip. She passed the order off to an older woman and mentioned the toppings. I was surprised to get the order home and find that it was missing lettuce, onions, and roasted red peppers. What a disappointment !! Is it really that hard to get a sandwich order correct? The bread was ok. The amount of meat was a bit skimpy. The cheese was a mess of cheese fragments. The price was higher than what Landolfi's would charge. Landolfi's is a much better sandwich and a much better value. I will not be back.

Lena's is NOT just a Deli. It is a place where you can get fresh food made with love and served with a smile. The owners and their staff are sweet and caring and genuinely interested in their customers and making their customers happy. When I am not traveling for work I stop into Lena's (which is just about everyday) and talk with the owners while I decide how much California quinoa salad and soup and meatballs I need/want to bring home with me. My husband and I joke that we are totally addicted to Lena's food. When they are closed on Mondays I actually get sad. My entire family loves Lena's food and cannot live with out their amazing homemade meatballs, fresh homemade soups, quinoa salad, tabouleh, egg salad and just about anything and everything else on their menu. If you have not eaten at Lena's yet you are missing out on the best lunch spot in Bucks County!!!

Wandered in on Sunday looking for a breakfast sandwich. Almost went somewhere else when they said they don't do breakfast. Something told me to give it a shot anyway. It was incredible! The Cubano was one of the best I've had and the escarole soup was very tasty. Will definitely be back!

Lena's Deli is a nice breath of fresh air since Landolfi's Deli used to be in the same location and was suddenly closing its doors. It is nice to see a family owned business in town. It seems like they are getting acclimated to the shop but nonetheless there heart is in providing some great service and need some more time to get there name out and shine. Being a New Yorker I know a good Deli when I see one, and I think hands down Lena's is a better choice than Wawa and offers some very good sandwich choices for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. They are currently Cash Only as they work out the details on getting a Credit Card system in place. I made the suggestion of having a website that would have the ability to order online and make it convenient for regulars. My wife and I had a Cubano and a Nono and they were both excellent. They tasted really fresh and had enough moderate meats in chesses in each. While waiting for our sandwiches to be made I had Mia on the Cashier Register offer me some freshly baked homemade pecan pie to try which was phenomenal. I had to take a slice home. My wife ordered two freshly baked Oatmeal cookies which she loved. I look forward to them incorporating my idea of a New York City Special sandwich with some good Pastrami like you would find at Katz's Deli in NYC. They did mention that they had run it as a special recently but are waiting to get some more of their very good pastrami back in stock. I'll review once they have it again. Service was very prompt and courteous and we look forward to visiting back again soon!

I tried the grilled chicken pesto with roasted red pepper. It was OUTSTANDING! The chicken was grilled to perfection and the pesto was excellent. My wife had the Portabella (marinated portabella, roasted pepper, spinach, roasted garlic spread, provolone). She thought it was delicious. Looking forward to trying other sandwiches at Lenas.

Let me start by stating a fact: I'm a sandwich junky, it's my favorite way of shoving food in my face and of course like any real man once you pick a sandwich up you never, ever put it down! My wife and I stopped in to Len's Deli the other day. This is a tiny little place. Take out only. When we were there it was cash only with no explanation why. There were three ladies working there and it seemed like they were getting a lot holiday platter orders on the phone. The first thing we saw when we opened the door was one of the ladies with a big ole' mouth full of food! We gave here time to chew, she then greeted us and gave us menus. We each ordered one of the 'specialty sandwiches'. I'm pointing this out since there are no regular sandwiches on the menu to compare to. I ordered the Italian American it was different from the Italian on there menu but neither was what I'm used to having on an Italian sub. It's a little weird, has turkey and is supposed to come with lettuce but mine did not. My wife had the Lena which she wished came with lettuce but doesn't. Both cost $8.50 each. As we waited for the sandwiches they seemed busy and ignored us. It was a little awkward so I asked if they made the bread there etc. Found out it's Italian peoples bread from Trenton. Unfortunately one of the best around (Why doesn't any make a kick ass loaf of bread around here anymore)? Waiting in silence again I started lookin' around at there cool antique deli stuff they decorated with and started to notice that, damn this place is messy. A wooden box of tomatoes in one corner, soup without any steam rising yet uncovered and dripping down the side of the pot on a little tabletop burner that seemed to be off, cans of tomatoes (perhaps just for decor) on the floor and some unappetizing looking salads the cold case. By the way the meat is pre cut, not cut when you order. Is that what makes them special? You can also get a cheese steak, but the caramelized onions are an extra quarter-just sayin' We took our sandwiches to go. When we got home we realized that no one ever asked if we wanted any condiments. Oil, vin, mustard mayo....no mention of any thing on the menu or out load. So out comes most of the contents of our refrigerator door and all the butter knives I could find! It was time to make my specialty ;P Overall the sandwiches were okay. Decent bread (better than what I get at Italian peoples, which pisses me off a bit)! These are not like overflowing with meat and cheese or anything, which they don't need to be, but I still coulda used another slice of each, they were a little light. I'd go back if I was hungry. Compared to the other sandwich shops in the area Lena's IS good. But for $8.50 I can make a bangin' ass BLT or something at home!

Lena's Deli has lots of amazing choices to choose from. I had the Mangia, Italiano and Porchetta it is very hard to choose my favorite they were all amazing. The homemade soups are fantastic just the way your mom would make them. Delicious and always served quickly and with a wonderful smile. Lena's is definitely my favorite lunch spot in Yardley.

Lena's Deli is fantastic. There is a reason all these reviews are so good. The food and service is exceptional. My husband is addicted to the cubano and the porchetta. They make wonderful side dishes you will not find elsewhere. I have been telling everyone I meet to go and check it out. What a pleasure to find a place that has food you can really savor and is fresh. They have wonderful sides dishes and homemade soups. Great side dishes that are so delicious, healthy and so satisfying that I have them as my main meal. Especially, if you really must resist their delicious breads (carb) . Watch out for the freshly made deserts, All made fresh on the premises. Fresh apple pie, hard to resist cookies and assorted breadpuddings. Today I tried a fresh strawberry stuffed with a cheese filling with walnuts...so good!. Lena also makes fresh steamed asparagus then allowed to cool to room temperature then wrapped in a light sliced of cheese and roasted red pepper and drizzed with balsamic. It's a must to try. Please leave some for me! They recently renovated the front of the deli with chairs, tables and umbrellas. Great place. Welcome to Yardley, Lena
