Worst salad I've ever had. The chicken may as well have been road kill. Don't go here

I ordered a cheesesteak wrap at the counter around 7:45 pm. I saw the cook take pre-cooked meat from a metal bowl and run it through the pizza oven with some peppers to heat it up. Then they threw some cheese whiz over it and threw it in a wrap. When I got it home it was a puddle of grease in a plastic container. I tossed it without taking a bite. Just serve pizza if you don't want to be bothered throwing some meat on the grill top when someone calls.

Before you place an order, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Odds are they will botch your order. I used to order their food because of the convenient location, but after they screwed my order up for the fourth or fifth time in a row, I stopped. The pizza is decent, the rest of the menu is acceptable quality. Unfortunately you need the heart of a gambler because you never know what they will actually serve you. If you like the rush of driving home wondering what the hell is in that bag or box, then, by all means, this is your spot. It's hard to believe that this store is owned by the same people as Carlucci's Grill, because the Grill actually has great service.

Honestly I have tried a few things on the menu and I have come up with the conclusion that you should only order pizza and garlic knots. Those two are really good! Anything besides those are disappointing and really whatever. Their plain pizza is really good which to me means that all their pizzas are good too. I would recommend their gourmet pizzas and not the deep dish. If you like vegetable pizza, I would highly recommend the vegetarian pizza! I'm pretty sure they renovated the interior and it looks very nice and clean.

Worst pizza I have ever had. The pizza was bland and poorly made. You are better off getting a frozen pizza from the supermarket. Venezia's pizza is very good and consistent. Needless to say, I will not be ordering pizza from Carlucci's Express. A positive note is that they deliver, which is nice since that seems to be an anomaly in this area.

Disappointed about the miscommunication between the person ringing me up and the cooks. My food was done, just was missing 1 thing. He didn't relay the message. I waited almost 10 mins before someone finally asked what I was waiting on, and then JUST threw it in the oven. I left with cold food. Otherwise, the food from what I could tell was decent. After reheating my pizza, it was good. I'm willing to go back and give them another try. Despite the food being cold, it was still better than others.

Great lunch specials.. Two slices of tasty pizza and a drink for $6. Tough to beat. I got a slice of chicken bacon ranch, and a slice of philly cheese steak. both good. I would definitely check this place out for lunch again.

I eat here often. The food is always delicious. However, they do make plenty of mistakes. Sometimes they forget something you ordered or mess up on a delivery, etc. I keep going back despite the frequent mistakes because the food is good!

The food is OK. I'd call it "frozen bar food" (Chicken fingers, french fries.....etc). Their pizza is alright...their wraps are pretty good. But don't really count on your order as you ordered it arriving. One time I called and ordered "A turkey Club Wrap". They forgot the bacon. (When I called to complain they told me "You didn't say add bacon...." even though a club means add bacon and that's how the menu describes it) But wait it gets better: On another occasion I called and ordered a Turkey Wrap, no cheese or bacon... they added both, even though I said multiple times to not add either. Another occasion I ordered a turkey wrap (I ordered them a lot). And the person on the other end repeated it as "Grilled Chicken panini" Yup. That's what he said. When I corrected him, and said "No, turkey wrap" he still said "Grilled panini?".... Guess which came to my door? Yeah the panini smothered in cheese, which I'm allergic to. No but seriously this one is my favorite. I was ordering dinner I don't remember what I ordered but I wanted one of those little salads. You know the ones that come before dinner? So I asked for a "little green salad, the small ones that come before dinner"..... there was a pause like he didn't understand me.. And then the person on the phone goes "OH! You mean like a Calzone!?". ...... No. ...... Finally once I got them to understand you know a mini salad (Which I know they have and give with pasta take out), I was told I couldn't order one. Even though they have them, I wanted to give them money for the small salad and they wouldn't add one to my order. Yeah.

I thought the calzone was pretty good. They make it with ricotta which makes it nice and creamy. I also liked the red sauce for dipping.

This was several years ago... but I only started using Yelp recently so I thought I'd chime in on this doozie of a story to show the true character of this joint. I coached my son's local little league baseball team. Carlucci's Express was a sponsor of the league. I had not, personally, eaten at this restaurant. I planned an "end of the season" party directly following our teams' final game. The game started at 10:00, so perfect time for a pizza lunch and awards, for the kids and parents after the game. In the spirit of supporting the league sponsors, I called Carlucci's Express. I didn't know if they delivered or not. Anyway, I told the guy who answered the phone (had an accent) that we were a league team and trying to support sponsors, blah blah blah, and I needed 15 pizzas delivered to the field (which was about three miles away from their shop) at about 11:45 or so. "We don't deliver" was the response. "OK no problem" I said. I can't stand Domino's or Pizza Hut. I just can't go there, the pizza blows. Then I remembered Yardley Pizza, which is kind of staple pizza joint in town and only 2 miles from our baseball field. They have great pizza/food. But I knew they didn't deliver, but I recruited the team Mom to pick it up for us towards the end of the game. I ordered 15 pizzas from Yardley Pizza of different varieties for the kids and their families (I was expecting about 40 people and just didn't want to be short on slices). No problem, all good, AND they said they WOULD deliver it since it was so early in the day and they were staffed well. GREAT. Our game was about to start, and my cell phone rings. It's Carlucci's Express. The same guy I spoke with 5 minutes earlier says "OK, we decided we will deliver." I say "I appreciate it, but I already ordered from Yardley Pizza. Sorry." He kind of argued with me slightly... we are a sponsor of the league, blah blah blah. But my game was starting and I had already given him a chance to fulfill the order... "sorry dude I don't have time for this... I already ordered from Yardley Pizza." We play the game, I do the end-of-the-game speech to the kids, and then we all (kids and families) retreat to the picnic tables / playground area right next to the baseball field. All good, right? I call Yardley Pizza. "What's up with the delivery?" Guy from Yardley Pizza says - "You called and cancelled that order five minutes after you placed it." What? Hmmmm. I'm baffled. Perhaps I'm suffering from early dementia. Really? I called to cancel the order? At that moment I ordered the pizzas AGAIN from Yardley Pizza, and, I am not understanding what happened with the cancelled order. Of course, then they couldn't deliver. So my team Mom went over and picked them up and brought them back, and our party was fine, albeit 30 minutes or so late. I was a little confused, but on the drive home I finally figured it out. The guy from Carlucci's Express was pissed off because he didn't get the $200+ order... so he thought it would be good to try to mess with my little league baseball teams' party by cancelling the order. I called Carlucci's Express, asked for the manager (same guy/same accent on the phone), and he pretended he didn't know anything about it. For sure, this is the "most bizarre" restaurant event I've ever experienced. Please note, this was several years ago, but if an establishment has the chops to do something like that... they really can't be too concerned about their clientele. (Or potential clientele.) Needless to say, I've never been in that establishment, nor, since then, have I gone to Carlucci's the main restaurant in the same shopping center. If there were an option for ZERO stars, I would apply.

I would not order from Carlucci's express again. I ordered an Italian Hoagie and I was not impressed. For $7 or $8 I expect more meat rather than just two slabs of ham. Their Chicken Ceasar wrap wasn't that well prepared; one bite and everything fell apart. I got sick afterwards.

So the older man who answers the phone is an idot.. I ordered a white pizza...pizza Bianca...with tomatoes ricotta cheese fresh mozzarella...I got premade bread with old sauce that had been wiped off and cooked with nasty cheese and a little garlic. My garlic knots were burned with no garlic and I ordered half an order with extra sauce I got 12 knots 1 sauce and these.things r buuuuurned. I had a slice there yesterday for the first time and thought it was the best pizza but thats just for show. U can get a slice from.there because they're fresh...DO NOT ORDER A PIE it premade pizza and its disgusting. Do not waste ur money. Oh yea they wouldnt deliver 2 miles away? No...the guy who answered the phone didnt feel like writing dkwn my address.

Solid place to grab a quick lunch. Pizza by the slice - and regular as well as "deep dish" is available. I had a tomato broccoli slice, and it was tasty without being greasy. There are a few tables inside if you want to eat in (for waitress service, go to Carlucci's Grill at the other end of the shopping plaza). A family operation, and the people were nice. I'd stop in again if in the area.

Carlucci's Express is ok, but I've had far better. This restaurant is more for take-out (pizza, sandwiches..). In my experience, the pizza is alright. A few times, I've gotten take-out and my order wasn't correct. I never order the food that has been under the heat lamps. Usually, it looks like it's been sitting there all day and is very dried out; therefore, I have to get a whole pizza just for 2 slices and plenty to bring home. It's a good place if you just want to grab a quick bite to eat, but not one of my favorites.

Calamari isn't fresh and was pretty chewy. The Caesar salad had tomatoes on it. And the $11 Exotic salad consisted of a lot of lettuce, a couple of pecans, 4 thin slices of mango and a teaspoon of blue cheese. Staff was nice but $34 for this lunch wasn't worth it.

Their Vodka Pasta Pouches were a huge favorite where I used to work. they got me hooked on them. The pizza was always a big hit, too.

You will find both Carlucci's Express and Carlucci's Grille in this shopping center. The Express is located on the opposite side. The Express is for Take Out, Delivery and has some inside seating. The pizza is thick crust NY style and they serve several pasta dishes. We were staying at a nearby hotel and if I had to order again, I would have asked for delivery. By the time I picked it up and got back to the hotel, it wasn't that hot. Nevertheless, I thought the pizza was very good and I found it by using the Yelp Application on my iPhone.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
