Finally found a place in Washington with seafood pizza! The seafood pizza comes with 3 cheese, shrimp, crab meat(imitation but still yummy) and a nice lobster sauce. I added ricotta cheese to mine also. It was deliscious! I couldn't stop eating it. I ordered the hand tossed style crust, it was good and not too doughy. I think I'll try the thin crust original next time. Delivery was fast and it reheated well.

Staying in Washington at a hotel for two weeks. Was craving pizza so I looked up places. Carmella's seemed good and I was willing to give them a shot. I am glad I did. I first called asking if they delivered to the hotel, the woman on the phone said no, but since they weren't terribly busy they would. I ordered a simple large pepperoni, extra cheese, and was eating it within 35 minutes. It was very good cheap pizza, I think my order was like $14 Quick, Friendly, Quality, Inexpensive. Four sides of the excellence square, and Carmella's had all of them.

Carmella's is the best place to get pizza in Washington. There has been a lot of buzz around the newest pizza place but Carmella's is still my favorite. The location is out of the way and not really a place you want to stay and eat. I always have food delivered anyway. The pizza is fantastic. The sauce is very flavorful and the crust is thin and crunchy the way it should be. Other ingredients included on the pizza have always been very good as well and the quality seems to be pretty high. Other items from the menu are good as well. We have tried the cheese sticks and fried zucchini and weren't disappointed.

Carmella's is a small Mom n' Pop pizzeria located in Washington, Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh. And holy CRAP is it good. The level of awesome is approximately equal to a modern nuclear weapon's explosive output and will completely shatter any preconceived notions you have about pizza. I went there with two friends in a roadtrip to the east coast when I found the location on Yelp!. We has the Spinach and Feta pizza with various herbs and such. Holy. Cow. The pizza was like an atom bomb in my mouth, with the Feta acting as a perfectly balanced foil to the grassyness of the spinach, with an overall grating of Romano cheese with a sprinkling of crushed sea salt. The entire thing was, I believe, brushes with Garlic and olive oil. Amazing. If you are roadtripping to the East Coast or live in the area, you MUST go out if your way to have pizza here. This is a win and I will definitely be eating here should I ever pass through again

A decent semi-thin crust pizza, but nowhere near mind-blowing and not even the best pizza in town (Upper Crust). The crust itself is fairly thin but also rather dense and a little different. They do offer delivery and they have more on the menu than just pizza, although that's all I've ever had.

Best pizza in town. Carmella's got me through many a weekend when I was living in the area. I've eaten in the restaurant a few times but mostly I get it delivered. If you like thin-crust, get the pizza - there's just something about it that's very different from any other pizza I've had. On days I was looking for something more interesting, I'd grab the steak salad - another great option.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
