On the surface, looks like a typical franchise sports bar. TVs everywhere, clean and lots of open air seating. Great staff, attentive and when they made a minor mistake on our order, the waitress owned it and immediately fixed the issue. Crab fries were crazy good, I couldn't resist..lots of extra cardio to make up for the deliciousness. Snow crab legs were perfectly done. I could crack all of the legs by hand, claws of course required the cracker. The broth was not too strong but very flavorful. Bravo. I was stuffed as was my guest by the time my chicken cheese steak (sans cheese) arrived with the original burger. Chicken steak was ok, won't sing them because I was full. Burger was incredibly juicy (I took a bite, couldn't resist). Overall, I was impressed. Will be back with the family for sure.

Fulfilled my Chickie's craving but having been a fan of their mussels red since the early 90's when their only location was a small bar on Robbins Ave, I can tell you that the red sauce on the mussels I ordered was not the same as the original. It was a less tasty, watered down version. :( Crab fries with cheese are consistently good. Their Philly steak sandwich was good as were the wings & clams in white. We ordered the cold shrimp & they seemed a bit over cooked or sat in the fridge too long because they were very hard to peel & lacked flavor. Nice waitress. Cute location.

Ate lunch here with a coworker and love the crab fries with the cheese sauce. On this visit, also got the blue burger, which was pretty good. My burger came out hot and cooked the way I asked for it to be done. Service started off pretty good, but got a little slow towards the end, and given that the place was pretty empty during this visit, there was really no excuse for that. You do get big glasses for your beverage, so the servers don't have to worry about refills very often. You'll find your typical American food items on the menu and not much in the way of healthy choices. Not a place i would typical come to often unless I'm really in the mood for those crab fries!!

Pretty much the crab fries are the only reason to go here, and the beer. The crab fries are delicious!! The sweet potato fries and reg fries are equally as good. They come with a cheese sauce and a very sweet maple sauce. Both good!!! But I prefer the cheese.

Crab Fries are okay. They kind of grow on you. Service was great. Place was nice and clean. Food just did nothing for me. I had the Philly Lobster Cheese Steak. Was a let down. My daughter had a plain cheese steak, and my wife had the chicken cheese steak. Both said if we ever went back they'd get something different. Not bad, just nothing special, and with so many other options in the area we will probably not be back.

The place is always hopping & has a great atmosphere. The problem I have is the food - I have eaten there at least 5 times since it opened a couple of years ago. They make everything incredibly salty in order to sell you more beer. Even the pizza is incredibly salty. The fries are fine but they appear insulted when you ask for the red spicy salt on the side or else you will be gasping for your beverage.

This is a fantastic place to watch football. The food was always good, and the bartenders were nice.....even to my better half who would wear her cowboys jersey there weekly. :) The crab fries with cheese sauce are a must have!

Our server was bad. Just straight up bad. She had a bad attitude, like she didn't want to be there or something. She rushed through her introduction, didn't make eye contact with us and acted exasperated when my dad asked her a question. Just rude. The food was decent and the girl who brought out our food was way more pleasant that our server so I guess if I were in the area I would consider returning.

Keep it simple at this chain. Crab fries, dry rubbed wings, pork wings, onion rings are winners. The crab fries probably deserve five stars. Service is generally indifferent.

We had some time to kill between games of my son's soccer tournament so we stopped by Chickie's. After all, what better payback for having to stand on a soccer field all day then going somewhere the players could eat virtually nothing on the menu. Of course, when you come to Chickie's, you gotta get crab fries, which we did as soon as we sat down. They came out hot and fresh with spicy crab seasoning and the two sides of white cheese sauce. The last two times I have gotten crab fries have been at the stadiums and I have forgotten how good they are when they are hot and fresh out of the kitchen. For my entree, I got a chicken parm sandwich, which was also delicious, albeit a little small. The sauce was pleasant enough, but a little bland. Be aware that Chickie's brings dishes out as they come up in the kitchen so that results in a little bit of odd pacing with a group. The service is pleasant enough and there are plenty of tvs to pass the time. You will have a typical casual sports bar experience when you come here but sometimes that is exactly what you are looking for.

Stopped here for lunch in May 2015. It was so much better than my previous experiences! The calamari was up there among THE BEST I have ever eaten. The rest of the menu is still "bar food" but it was GOOD. I look forward to the next time we go. It's always a great place to hang out with family and friends.

It's not as good as the one downtown, but a nice option for the suburbs. If you are looking for a good meal... This probably isn't the place. Of you want something fried and salty... Welcome. Lots of beers on tap including some locals and IPA... And even though it is a bar atmosphere, kids love the crabby fries and cheese sauce. This place is best to visit with buddies or for a game. If I was single and in my twenties... I'd probably give it 5 stars.

For some reason, I really am just not in love with Chickie's and Pete's. Of course the crab fries are delicious, but what else is there to rave about? Fruity, overpriced drinks with little to no alcohol in them? Dishes that you can find at any chain restaurant? Preoccupied staff that acts like you're a bother rather than a valued customer? I'm not impressed. I will give two stars rather than one because of the crab fries, the atmosphere, and the gigantic televisions. Even so, I feel like I'm being generous. If it were not for those things, I would not even bother with this place. Prices are too high for what you get and staff is not upbeat enough for a sports bar as popular as this one. Watching a game here is fun every once in a while, but I'd rather watch the big games at a dive bar where the liquor is cheap and the people are actually fun. I heard the C&P in Philadelphia is a hundred times better.

I called ahead of time to make sure they would be able to accommodate my food allergies. I asked over and over again several times and was promised I would be fine. After being assured, my husband and I went there for dinner only to be told I could hardly have anything! Thanks for wasting my time and just telling people what they want to hear. Won't be going back.

Experience was great loved the food and of course the crab fries. The service was good. My main course came out very good. Not really much to complain about if anything at all. I would recommend this place as I have had no problems with service or food so far.

one star was enough since you will part with $40-50 on 2 apps and a beer..would earn 2 or 3 stars if the items were priced for the small portions of chain style fried food..i respect and honor all those atrons that concur with rude staff comments because its such a cool place, such an iconic Phily spot, and such a cool kid place 2 be-even though it struggles to ride above one star

Great food, barely mediocre service, uncomfortable seating. Our party of 6 was seated in a booth that held us with no issues (we're all small to medium size) but there wasn't enough room for food. In addition, there was a long table with a large party seated too close to us, so that servers and customers banged into my sister, sitting on the end. Part of the issue was that food is delivered as it's ready (so our server should have staggered the order - appetizers and then main course). We started with crab fries, crabby sweets, nachos and wings. Then we got two crab cake sandwiches, a meat sandwich, an order of fried shrimp, two orders of snow crab legs. We also each ordered a drink. The fries were amazing, the quality of the crab legs was excellent, the sandwiches were pretty good. The food was great, but it was an uncomfortable experience.

I'm convinced - the only good thing about C&P's are the crab fries. I've been to this location a few times and always wind up looking at the menu and feeling lost. Not because there's so many options but because there's literally nothing - NOTHING - on the menu that is appealing besides the crab fries. Service is atrocious (and we weren't even there on a game night!); ambiance is awful. I think next time, I'll forego the menu awkwardness and terrible wait service, and just hit up the bar for some fries and a drink. 2 stars for the amazing fries, which are...amazing.

    (2)
  • Phi N.

I wish I could give zero stars. Food is awful. Inconsistent. And a long wait, for what? Don't waste your time.

  • Jon H.

I have been to this C&P's location 3 times. This last visit will be my last. On every occasion I have found the host staff to be rude and abrupt with you, as if they are doing you a favor by letting you enter the restaurant. Once seated, the restaurant is so cramped and uncomfortable that it is tough to relax and enjoy your meal. The wait staff is also fast, seemingly like they just want to serve you and flip the table. Now to the food. The cheesteaks are extremely greasy and the rolls are sub-par. The signature appetizer of crab fries can be hit or miss depending who is making them. Mine were very soggy on last visit although 1st time they were very good. Mussels in red sauce were ok, but no standout. The pizza is edible but not a dish worth seeking out again. The bar area of the restaurant is very tight and often crowded. The bar staff is made up of inexperienced young girls and bartenders who are more concerned about their hair and arm muscles to care if you get a drink or not. I would not recommend this place to anyone as it gives a bad name to traditional Philadelphia favorite foods and the atmosphere is like a parody of everything you hear negative about Philadelphia.

It's what you come to expect from Chickies and Petes. I grew up around the original on Robbins Ave in the northeast; I guess I am more biased toward the original Chickies. I now live out by this one so its nice to grab some crab fries without having to go too far.

    (3)
  • Laura C.

This location is hit or miss. The food is always good but keep it basic. Fries, sandwiches, wings. We ordered Ordered and app before and the guy never brought it out so we just let it go. The wait time is crazy on most weekends. The hostess stand doesn't have the friendliest ladies either.

Tonight I paid C&P's a visit for the first time with the family after my fiancé's 10 year old nephew talked us all into having dinner there. C&P is a sports bar and that is exactly what it looks like: a stereotypical sports bar. Expect a pretty decent wait; thankfully, they do provide decent seating for those waiting for a table. We were a party of six and were seated at 2 4-top tables combined into one. 3 people shared a side suited for 2 on each side of the table. I'm sure my fiancé's dad enjoyed his middle seat. Although it wasn't exactly airline-snug. Food: Crab fries; the crab fries came with a delicious cheese dip. I've heard so much about these fries and was really looking forward to having them. And they were good; although, nothing spectacular. Think nicely fried fries drizzled with seasoning. The cheese dip is what makes this dish. My fiancé and I shared mussels in red and a buffalo chicken sandwich. It was a really generous serving of pretty decent sized mussels in an amazing red sauce. The serving so large it would have easily fed 3. Can I just repeat that the red sauce was-- AMAZING? I had to dip my bread in it. The buffalo chicken sandwich was simply 2 chicken tenders drizzled with buffalo sauce. Pretty standard. Nothing worth mentioning. I can not comment on what the other family members had, but no one complained about the food. The service could use some help. Entrees arrived at different times and my fiancé's dad didn't get his beer until the end of his meal. I prompted the waitress about the missing drinks and was told that the bar was behind with drinks. There must be a better way of doing this. Not getting your beer until the end of the meal is not acceptable. Also, the waitstaff should use a little courtesy training. I would come back -- if dragged by a 10 year old.

I almost gave Chickie's & Pete's two stars solely for the crab fries (which are, admittedly, really good). Ultimately I did not decide to do so however since everything else is pretty god-awful. C&P's is definitely a sports bar, with TVs in literally every direction (with one or two very large projection screens). But a high end "crab house" sports bar, C&P's is not. The menu is short, unappealing, and aesthetically boring (yeah I know that's an anal complaint to make, but seriously). Another reviewer really hit the nail on the head by saying there really isn't one appealing dish on the menu. It's just....boring. You'll see. My dinner was a cheeseburger topped with a crab cake. It was really gross. I ordered the burger "medium rare" but it had been cooked to the point of basically being a shade lighter than charcoal. It was also crumbly, and very obviously pre-frozen. The bread was a nondescript white bun that looked as if it had just been pulled out of a supermarket sleeve. Truly tasted like the one time I desperately walked into a Chili's at an airport. My girlfriend had a chicken hoagie with honey mustard sauce that was basically put together the same way. She said it was okay. It didn't look good though, I didn't take her up on her offer for a bite. The atmosphere is depressing and stereotypically townie/suburban.. If you're looking for craft beer, prepare to be disappointed. The place is filled to the brim with bros drinking Heineken. Okay, the crab fries are really good. Sue me. If you want tasty french fries and to get slammed on $2 Coors Lights, you may have a good time here. Otherwise forget about it.

This place needs a major do-over at all it's locations But focusing on warrington, it's still has a sticky bar and the food, no matter what you order, will taste like their fries, the seasoning is on every conceivable menu item. Yuk

  • Jeffrey S.

I went to Chickie and Pete's as it had been recommended to me by a friend. The server came to tell us the specials and was barely understandable as she sped through her description of the specials. I ordered a burger and was informed that if I wanted fries they would be crab fries and everything is ala carte. The burger was average at best and the fries were OK. It is not a place I will be returning to.

Great place to gather and hang out with friends. The crab fries are awesome and a must order.

  • Kade J.

Terrible service doesn't begin to describe my experience here. I sat down at the bar and it took the bartenders 35 minutes to take my beer order. Then I sat for another 20 minutes waiting for someone to take my food order. Finally I just got up and left. Staff was too busy visiting with friends at the bar and taking cigarette breaks while also breaking tons of glassware accidentally. On two separate occasions large amounts of glasses were broken met with the cheers of the patrons in the bar. No idea if the good is any good. Never got the chance.

Work right around the corner. Chickie and Pete's can't really screw up their game-winning formula. Good atmosphere (TVs everywhere), good service (never had an issue), and Crab Fries. Sometimes I wish different entrees would come out simultaneously, but I understand that's not how they work. A little expensive too. All that being said, I really like this place.

I love their crabs. The only problem is deciding between Alaskan, Dungenous, or Snow Crabs.

I've been here twice in the past six months and I have not really been impressed. I'm not expecting five star seafood but when I pay $21.95 for three little crabcakes the size of a golf ball, if not smaller, it's not worth it coming from here. It wasn't over abundant in crab flavor either. Both times we did not experience service that was steller and they always serve the entree before you are even halfway done with your appetizer. It's just too fast of a progression from course to course. We had to ask for silverware and wipes both times. I really don't like writing negative reviews but I just think if they tried a little harder it could be better. Good service is huge for me. Engage your guests, smile, laugh, be attentive. Earn your tips! I know they won't change prices and that is what will most likely keep me from returning for anything other than beer and crab fries.

  • John M.

Overrated and over priced. Never understood the allure here. Crab fries are everywhere today.

    (2)
  • Zach V.

This location is small compared to the other Chickie's I have been to but its not too cramped inside. Its setup pretty much the same as the other Chickie's locations. I have never been a big fan of their food and this location is no different. If you are there to have a few beers and app's its not a bad choice. I wouldn't go here for dinner.

    (3)
  • John D.

Lame bar. Beer choices sucked. There's a dumb hat rule. And a dumb rule about food coming out at different times. And I'm glad they are being sued for that "Pete's tax"

So I was on the way home from a business trip and needed a snack and a cold one. It was midafternoon. As I was going by the crab fries were calling me and I whipped into the lot. I remembered that this location was formally a Ninety Nine but the remodel is quite nice. I sat at the bar and ordered the requisite crab fries and a draft. I chatted with a friendly bartender for the short wait before the fries arrived. Out came a huge portion and they were hot and fresh and crispy and of course they were served with the two tubs of cheese sauce for dipping. They were too many for me to finish but they sure were tasty. It was a short visit but it was a typical suburban sports bar experience.

    (3)
  • Tim R.

Terrible. For a sports bar there are very few TV's outside of the bar area. Beer selection was decent at best. I had the Goober, I think, and it was a cold shrimp sandwich...like a shrimp lobster roll but with fries and cold cheese sauce. Ehhh. Wife had three crab cakes that probably added up to 8oz of crab and cost $20. If you want a great beer selection, great food, good atmosphere, and LOTS OF TV's head over to P.J. Welihans in Blue Bell. Even their crab fries are better!

    (1)
  • Mike C.

We went a little early to beat the crowd. They sat us fast and we were served fast. The fries are awesome. The snow crab legs were steamed in an awesome broth. The lobster was good too. The fried shrimp are a little bland.

  • JP J.

Lots going on - great bar crowd, sports bar, good mix of all. Quick and easy check in and invitation to wait at the bar where the service was good. Then is all begins. Great table service with a fun, smart and attentive wait staff. Great suggestion on the Clam Fries which were out of this world - love the old bay. Another great call on the King Crab legs in garlic and water with old bay. OMG, they were awesome...I dont think I have ever tasted something so good. Would have loved the bread to be fresher to enjoy the broth -- oh well. Cold beer, great selection. One suggestion - DESSERT - I know the reason there is none but I would have LOVED to have enjoyed a brownie ice cream and hot fudge. This is my second visit to the chain and my first to Warrington and all I can say is I wish they were in New York.....

  • Tucker C.

Only go if you are thirsty for a beer. Grease served with fried grease. Crab cakes lacked taste and were so mushy, the bun was hard and too much bread. Crab bisque soup was a heap of cream gook. Wait staff is very friendly which helped with the one star. If you are in the mood for great fries, chicken fingers and nice waitresses, then this is your go to place. I feel fat now and want my money back. Totally wasted $52. I did tip 20% as it's not the waitress fault. I will never go back.

    (1)
  • George A.

2.5 stars, not 3. I'd recommend this location if you want to pull up a seat at the bar and watch the game, have some brews and bar food. Good luck though, b/c the bar area is way too small and even standing room can be a hassle trying to hold on to your beer as the waitress squeezes through the crowd. The food is typical CnP (good wings, mussels, crab fries) service is quick, Corona of tap is a nice bonus and so is being within a few minutes from home.

  • Kevin S.

I've been to Chickies a few time in the last and haven't been impressed with the food. However, tonight my opinion of the chain has changed particular with this place. My girlfriend and I decided to go somewhere to grab a drink. We figured Chickies and Pete's would have an open spot at the bar, which they did. The bartender was the best one I've ever seen. Professional, quick, and on his game. I ordered two drinks, bay breeze and rum and coke. Both were awesome. My girlfriend took advantage of the $2 miller lites. The bartender saw empty glasses and without us asking got the glasses refilled. We also order crab fries which were also great. All in all a great experience. Great place to grab a drink.

Pretty typical sportsbar that is great for big games. Our experience on the restaurant-side has been pretty good as well. There are huge TVs everywhere, but the booths have decent-sized cushions which gives you a cozy, personal feel. The crab fries with cheese are amazing, as are the sweet potato fries with sweet sauce. I usually get a cheesesteak, burger, or something similar. The wait staff have always done a good job for us, even on busy nights during football games. We also have never waited more than a minute or two for a table to open up.

  • mike v.

I feel bad to leave negative reviews but sometime they are deserved. Hopefully management is not too arrogant and will learn from reviews. This is not a real Chickie's and Pete's. NOT the same. Everything was either average or far below average. Staff was very nice, however, but most of the food was not. They gave me the wrong beer twice and insisted it was correct. I think I know the difference between an IPA and some crappy lager. Muscles, which are excellent at other locations, were TERRIBLE. No flavor. We left disappointed. Fried stuff was good but that's easy. Seafood was lame.

Not sure what happened to Chickie's and Pete's, but they have seem to have gone down hill. I just recently moved back to the area and was excited to get my usual: Crab Fries and Crab Cake sandwich. You can never go wrong with the Crab Fries, and thank heaven those were like I remembered them. The Crab Cake was atrocious. It was dry and lacked any taste. And the wait staff was terrible. Our waitress completely disappeared after dropping our food off and she never came back. We had to flag down three other waitresses to get our check. It was not even worth asking for refills on our drinks or boxes for our food... but who really wanted left-overs from such an awful meal. I am very sad to say that I will most likely never go back.

The food is decent, but I'm giving it four stars due to the spectacular service. Waitress was quick to come over, food came out fast and my glass was never empty. A good value for the money.

We did the all you can eat crabs. They were really good! Nice and big. Only con is they cost $29 which is pricey compared to another place I go to where they are only $21. They don't include fries with the crabs at chickies! I think they are doing a disservice to themselves by not offering them. We ate a lot of crabs because as you know it takes a lot of crabs to make you feel full! Adding fries may help cut the quantity people eat :)

Not as much energy as the one on Roosevelt Blvd. Had to ask for bread, which you don't normally have to do when you order the clams and mussels with red sauce.

***TO WARRINGTON, PA MANAGMENT - PLEASE HIRE FRIENDLY PERSONABLE STAFF AND TRAIN THEM IN CUSTOMER SERVICE*** This particular Chickie's & Pete's has zero atmosphere and their waitstaff and host staff were both very unfriendly and unhospitable. You go to a sports bar for a fun environment and the staff unfortunately made our entire party feel incredibley unwelcome - and we spent over $300. We all left commenting on the lack of customer service - although the food was decent. I never write reviews, but having worked in the customer service industry and as a waitress for many years, I see an attitude and energy problem that desperatable needs to be addressed at this Warrington location.

  • Max G.

Too pricey for mediocre food. The beer I ordered was ice cold, as it should be. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. So why only 1 star? I ordered a cheeseburger, and well, I have had better from McDonald's. Seriously. I was very disappointed in the cheeseburger. My son also ordered one, and he didn't even finish it! If my son doesn't eat all of his hamburger, something is wrong! I don't get the hype about the crab fries - they were average. For what we paid, an overall big disappointment for sure.

    (1)
  • S G.

Not a local, but I was visiting and it's one of my son's favorite. Appearance is a typical sports bar, but I didn't care I was able to catch up on some football :) Our server was better than average, we were all drinking tea and she brought a pitcher so we never ran dry. Loved the crab fries, you can't eat just one. We had the Italian Pizza, its thin crust, mix of cheeses, proscuito, baby rabb and balsamic vinegar was perfection! I tried the Burger of the same name but it wasn't as wonderful. I'm very pickey about my bun and the grease of the burger had made it so soggy I went sans bun. That night they offered a Buffalo Chicken Soup and I was game....glad I was. Soup was creamy and spicy, with large chunks of chicken, celery and blue cheese. Was a chicken wing without all the fuss! My only thing with the service was how the food came out. I'm not a fan of food not coming out all together. As a previous restaurant manager, it's my pet peeve. However, this could be their standard practice,in which case I just need to chill! I used the QR code to leave feedback about my experience and the next day I received an email from the GM offering to make my visit perfect. Thank you Bob!! I'm positive I will return for a another visit.

This was one of the worst experiences at a restaurant. I can understand a long wait on a Saturday night, especially with a sixers and the flyers on tv. What made my night unenjoyable was that I saw at least 2 people come in we'll after me hug the hostesses and when they sat down, hug the waitresses , and then before they ben ordered their waiter called them by their first name. How do I know they skipped the 75 minute wait? Chicke's & Pete's uses a text message when your table is ready and twice I checked when those tables were sat, my status didn't change. I know there was some sort of manager there because she was out of uniform behind the host stand. Then when I sat down to eat I literally went from appetizer to as sandwich in about 10 minutes and out the door 30 minutes after I sat down. Unacceptable to feel rushed! If it wasn't for our server, this place would get 0 star.

Took family today for lunch. Party of 7 with 2 young children. There was something for everyone. Loved the crab fries and Italian wings. Kids loved them too. Sat on the bar side. Television was not overwhelming. Service was great. Price was fair. We will go again. Server asked if it was ok to bring plates out as they were ready instead of all at once. Appreciated her asking. We will go again.

I went here for lunch with a group, it was my first experience at what is, apparently, a seminal sports bar in the greater Philadelphia area. The good: - They were very accommodating for the group - Service was prompt, attentive, but not overbearing - Everyone loved the crab fries - Tons of TV's everywhere playing everything sports related all the time. The bad: - Expensive for what it is. - If you're going with a sports fan, expect them to be distracted. - Food was only so-so. My burger was nothing to write home about. - Beer selection was pretty uninspired. - Everything tasted extra salty. I get that that's to some people's taste, but it wasn't to mine. - If you're not into seafood half the menu is irrelevant. If you're with a group of sports loving friends who don't care about salt and want seafood (especially crabs) Chickie & Pete's is your thing.

Some food is better than others, but the ambiance is great!

For a late lunch this place was hoppin (day of the Penn State Bowl game)! Fast service. Great place to watch a game --lots of TVs with an amazing sound system. We had the crabfries, buffalo chicken cheese steak, and Magooby. I ate the Magooby and would certainly recommend you try it out. I would best describe the Magooby as a shrimp PoBoy. Summary: Fast Service, Good Food, Great place to watch a game!

First of all it was warm and cozy inside and the service was fabulous. Faster than fast food. My hubbie has the clams with white sauce. Excellent ! Not too garlicky but just enough. Plenty of broth for dipping. Lobster roll for dinner was jam packed with lobster , celery and a little onion. very tasty in the roll , otu of the roll , and even dipped in the calm broth. btw they had no problem making everything without pepper as my hubbie is allergic. I had a veggie pizza with no peppers but added tomato sauce . They had no problem changing the menu . Awesome pizza. Thin crust , perfectly cooked . And I am a pizza snob but thumbs up to Chickie and Petes ! We will be back

This is actually the only time I have been in a C&P's since I'm not near the city, and I usually just grab it at the games so I was excited to sit down finally. Fries are just epic, cheese sauce, yeah that good. Beer specials for cheap domestics that u can find anywhere, limited craft beer unfortunately. Meal was good, had a pork sandwich, tasty but small, especially for its price. I know you can go to other places and find em in foot long rolls, so it was kind of a bummer, beware the sandwich serving size i guess. My buddy said his burger was good, so I'll have to try something different next time. Good place for the games obviously and some brews, stick with the fries and ya can't go wrong.

This is my favorite Chickie's location because it's a lot more quiet from a "crowdedness" perspective. Food is always delicious and service is always fast.

Great bar in the burbs. So glad we have it! Hands down beats anything else as far as a sports bar. This is the kind of place you go to hang out, have fun, and not have to spend an hour in the car driving home later.

We've been to other locations and always loved it. Last night we ordered crab fries (first, with our drinks), a lobster roll and a lb of snow crab legs. Lobster roll came out first- roll was totally burnt. I smelled it as soon as the server put it down, but she dropped it and ran. I asked for a new one (waitress tried to convince me it wasn't burnt, just toasted, but it was black all the way around!) when she came back by a few minutes later. Next came the crab legs, which were done perfect. About 5 minutes later my new lobster roll came out with the crab fries. So much for an appetizer. We didn't even eat half of the crab fries because we were trying to eat dinner before it got cold, and by then, the fries were cold. Luckily we were paying with a gift card, so I wasn't too upset about wasted money.

i actually ate here the other night. i got the crab cake sandwich. underwhelming at best. there was plenty of crab in the cakes, but there was otherwise no real flavor. it's served with some sort of dijon aoli that just doesn't work. food comes out as it's ready so my husband and i didn't actually eat together. i'm hoping it was just because we were at the bar? go for trivia, stick to crab fries or nachos.

Bar food that is absolutely sub-par! Even the famous crabfries are a big disappointment...soggy and tasteless. The food tasted like the frozen stuff I can get at the supermarket for half the price... and the quality of service and atmosphere does not make up the difference. This place also claims to be a "sports bar" but it is more like a dance club...the music is way too loud to enjoy any game on TV. Just because you have ESPN running on the TVs in the background does convey the highly coveted title of "Sports Bar." Come on man...improve your food. The original C&P on Robbins is fantastic, but this franchise restaurant in Warrington is awful...start living up to the C&P legacy.

Nice place to hang out with the guys at the end of a long day at work. I still think the original Chickie's and Pete's in philadelphia is the best, but this is close to home. Is still the best sports bar in the area.

It's just a bar. No, they have good food. Well you know who won that discussion. Friendly staff. Server was sweet and attentive. The lobster cheesesteak is ridiculously good! 10 hours later "its just a bar" person is still talking about it!

It was ok. It's a bar with great fries and that's about it... I ordered the pork sandwich with Au jus and my husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. My daughter who is 3 ordered the grill cheese. Seating was fast, atmosphere ok. Got to watch the Olympics on many screens which is a plus. Food wise, it is expensive and blah. My pork sandwich was dry and the au jus was grease. Not gravy, a bowl of grease and it was gross. The sand which was ok..bread good. My husband liked his which was a plus. My daughter loved the $4 two pieces of white bread and cheese. The ice tea was gross, not fresh brewed, just out of a dispenser. Service was good, all of our meals came out differently . My 3 yo meal came out last... Overall, I wouldn't go back. For $40 lunch, it wasn't worth it...

I decided to take my mother here for a Mother's Day lunch. What a disappointment!!! We were seated immediately. Our waitress quickly came by put two forks (no knives) on the table and offered drinks. We went (what I'm guessing was a special) w/ $2 Coors Light drafts. My mother loves seafood, so she ordered the shrimp salad. I ordered the chicken cutlet club and some crab fries. Within maybe 2-3 mins the waitress dumps off my mother's salad. A minute after that, here comes the fries, a minute after that, my sandwich. Would it be THAT hard to deliver the food all at once?! I am convinced that nothing here is made to order. The chicken cutlets were more like 3 small/thin chicken dried out chicken fingers on an over sized roll. My mother's salad was just a pile of romaine lettuce, maybe 4 grape tomatoes, another 4-5 croutons, and maybe FIVE little shrimp! All for the low price of $12.00! And the fries were overcooked to top things off. My mother looked at me and said this was the worst salad she's ever had. Then she said, we should have went to Longhorn down the street, which I wholeheartedly agreed. I brought her here because that's where she wanted to go since she's never been to the ones in Philly. I'm never spending another dime at this joint again. It seems like they're more about turning tables over than seeing people enjoy a meal.

As many others have said - the service was great and fast and our food also came out at different times so you'll have to put your good manners aside and not wait for everyone at the table to be served before you dig in. Beer selection could be a bit better but we all found something to have. The atmosphere is kind of lacking, they didn't do much to change it up from the 99 that was there so it has that sterile mass produced restaurant feel. Of course we shared crab fries which is good because their sandwiches do not come with any sides (for like $9.00 they could give you something). my husband got the mussels which were *huge* - we took enough home to make a whole second meal out of! Definitely a good value on the menu. With all that good sauce it came with he said it would have been nice to have some bread for dipping though.

Fast service, we had a party of three and the food come out three different times, it was weird but it was fast. I have had better cheese steaks at other places. Very friendly staff. The crab fries are the best.

    My husband and I come here every now and then. We do love the seafood, the service is always fast and the staff is always polite and attentive. Plus my husband loves the sports atmosphere so when he is happy everybody is happy (-;

It is bar food and barely decent at that. The focus is on turning the tables, not making sure the food and service make you want to come back.

Stay in the bar area if you are there for a game - the general seating areas have less TV's, and the scene just doesn't feel right - you feel like you are missing something. I recommend the bar seating if it's only a few people. Food was OK, crab fries are always delicious. Service was pretty bad and I've heard similar from others. Manager refused to turn on the Penn State game in favor of a Flyer's 3rd period blowout no one was clearly watching, then tried to move us to another table an hour later when we were comfortable lol. They are clearly still trying to get the hang of things in there - props for opening up a Chickie's in the area though, great idea!

EXPENSIVE, small portions, left hungry Good service... $9.00 for lettuce a few grape tomatoes and croutons. Had the lobster special, it was a small lobster and a small portion of arugula salad, not as pictured in their advertisement, husband had the lobster tails which looked like an appetizer when they arrived and nothing came with it?. Anything extra is $9.00 each, 9 is their favorite number. FIRST AND LAST TIME......MISS NINETY NINE THEY HAD GREAT LOBSTER ROLLS AND MOHITO'S. Left hungry and made something home. BEWARE notice on the online menu no prices? That will be your clue, stay away from this place. We were told our food will come out different times not together? Never heard of this policy, strange? Only thing good about this place was our server.

I've been to other Chickie's & Pete's locations over the last 10 years and I always remembered it being pretty bangin so you can imagine my excite when I realized they were opening one in my town. Unfortunately, this one needs help. The price of crab legs went up and the efficiency of the (rather rude) waitress to deliver them not ice cold went down. I don't mind shelling out some money for crab legs, I realize they aren't cheap... but is there no quality control to check to see if the food is (at the very least) warm when it hits the table? Yuck. We did send them back to be warmed up, but still. Should we have had to? The fries are always good, but most fries at most places are good so I'm not gonna bust a nut over them. There is nothing worse than getting a hefty bill delivered to your table after a completely unsatisfying meal. Next time I have a craving for crab legs, we will hit Wegmans and make them ourselves. At least we know that the legs won't be void of meat and ice cold. :) Ok C & P, you can go away now. We are done.

I was so excited to go here, because I heard great things about the other Chickie's and Pete's, but I was seriously disappointed. First, my Long Island Iced Tea was way too sweet and had barely any alcohol (I rarely drink, and I didn't even get a slight buzz). We did really like the onion rings, but the crab fries we specifically ordered with our sandwiches came out a minute later than the onion ring app and when I told the food runner, his response was, "they just come up whenever". Our sandwiches came out about three minutes later while we were still eating our onion rings. My crabcake sandwich was okay, nothing to write home about. And my husband said his tailgate burger was flavorless and greasy. I don't know why everybody is crazy over these crab fries, they're just crinkle fries with Old Bay seasoning, what's so unique about that? Then, when I was hoping my favorite part of the meal would make up for the rest, the bartender tells me they don't serve dessert! And she seriously told me that it's because they like a high turnover of tables and don't want people sitting around. I guess I would come here if I drank beer, but other than that, there's plenty of other restaurants in the area that provide a better dining experience.

Great new local Chickie's and Pete's. Came here with a large group of friends for food and drinks. My friends had a buffalo chicken cheese steak, a buffalo wing sandwich, a bleu cheese burger and a large order of C&P's famous (and always delicious) Crab Fries. Cheese steak fell apart immediately, but everything was tasty. Had fun with friends, but the location is poorly laid out for a C&P's (which are normally very crowded), parking took forever, and the staff there were very rude. On a Saturday night they had no drink specials, and paid $9 for a "Flyin' Hawaiian" (ode to my favorite CF) which tasted like kool-aid, and barely had a splash of coconut rum. Definitely not worth the $9. Will go back at another time to see if anything changes, but I recommend going for lunch or early dinner. Has the biggest bar I think I've ever seen, too bad there were no specials to compliment the extremely large array of liquor.

Good food and good service. This is my least favorite location. Looks too much like an ordinary restaurant.
