Had heard how delicious this pizza was. I was surprised to see Volant even had a pizza eatery. So the family decided to try it out. The service was amazing!!!!! The owner was ever so polite, mannerly, attentive, humorous (but not over the top/obnoxious), and knows how and when to approach you, and not stalk you like most waiters/waitresses, constantly interrupting the conversation, or asking you how things are when the food hits the table, or when you JUST shoved food in your mouth. His timing was excellent. He even turned the heat up in the place without us asking, because he saw we hadn't taken our coats off. Very observant man! Now, the reason I should be even writing about, being that this review is for a pizzaria - we ordered the 10 inch white pizza for my wife and I, and a 16 inch cheese for the kids. If you know what Bikini Atoll is, then you now have the visual of one's mind being blown to smithereens!!!! That seriously is what it was like upon the very first bite, and the moniker" NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA" was a no Bullshit, Gods honest truth!!! It is out of this world! I fear that such a killer place to eat will be lost in the quiet town of Volant, unless he branches out, so go please support the guy, because this area is sorely depressed for Damn good authentic NY style pizza. Pizza Hut, Papa John's can go suck it with their thin pizza, because the real deal comes from the Big Apple baby!!!!

Excellent pizza. A little better than the best offerings in Hermitage/Sharon. Size and price were average. Relaxing, pleasant atmosphere.

Great pizzeria in a small town! They bill themselves as NY style. Not exactly... but the closest thing to NY style in the area for sure. A little too much sauce on the pizza for me, but if you ask for light on the sauce, it makes the pizza pretty amazing. Overall, I like the pizza. Would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.
