Absolutely love this place for breakfast. I have eaten there many times, but I have only visited for breakfast, but I had a wonderful experience every time. Great food and great people. Enjoy!

This is a no-frills, well organized, breakfast and lunch restaurant. The service was fast and the restaurant clean. We were the youngest people in there by about 30-40 years. You're going to get an affordable American breakfast here, but you'll never remember the name of the waiter or what's on the wall. The corn beef hash was amazing.

Such a clean restaurant with great service . The food is always very fresh and presented nicely. Chicken scampi over wild rice is my Favorite

Consistently great food...huge portions, it always feels like I'm getting a tasty home cooked meal. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you can't go wrong.

Stopped here for a late dinner with the kids. There is no kids menu so you will pay full adult fare for them. The food was a mix of diner classics and italian favorites. They are very accommodating and will customize a dish for your kids needs. The pot roast was good. I was a little let down by instant potatoes when everything else seemed homemade. Since we came so late the salads were a bit wilted but that was the only negative thing. The meals were decent portions and the staff was attentive. We will be coming back to try the breakfast menu some weekend. Parking is in private lot across the street.

Just an average diner in my opinion, came for lunch. Not sure about the four star rating. Service as adequate, menu typical of a diner. Nothing wowed me. Okay in a pinch, but not high on my return list. Maybe breakfast is better? Would like to see a brunch menu available on the weekend.

The food was pretty good. I had roast turkey with stuffing and gravy. It was like Thanksgiving in August. We will be back!

A great place for breakfast. Service can be somewhat slow. Be careful when you are parking/leaving the parking lot. An old lady backed into my boyfriend's car here.

Three words: stuffed French toast. Three more words: don't miss it.

Family diner with great service. Any Italian dish is always good. I usually go for breakfast or lunch. Favorite item on the menu is the Eggplant Genovese Melt. Delicious breaded eggplant with garlicky tomatoes, mozzarella, on grilled Italian bread.

This particular restaraunt use to be my family-go-to. I ordered a regular burger but wanted to substitute my fries with coleslaw. The waitress said no she cant do that! I even offered to pay for it, she again said no she cannot do that! That would be the last time a go there. What makes me mad is that i said i would pay for it and she still argued NO!

I came here with my husband upon the advice of one of his co-workers. I ordered the chicken Marsala and I can unabashedly say it was the BEST chicken Marsala I ever had!! The chicken was so tender and the Marsala sauce was exceptional! My husband ordered the veal parmigiana. It's his standard by which he judges all Italian restaurants! This once passed with flying colors! I will gladly recommend Agolinos to my co-workers come Monday!!!!

Agolino's is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always great, and the waitresses are always helpful and friendly. It can get busy because it is so popular, so I try to avoid peak times. The menu is varied, so everyone can find something they like, and they have a specials menu with a dozen or so dishes that change all the time. I highly recommend them.

Awesome Wyoming Valley take on diner food. Pretty much everything here is decent, but for the full Agolino's experience, stop in for breakfast or brunch. My personal favorites are the mascarpone-stuffed french toast and the breakfast frittata. Not much else to say... good food, friendly staff, and good prices make this a required stop every time I come to Pittston.

Agolino's is always a pleasure to attend for Sunday breakfast. Never a complaint about the food and service. Quick and efficient with great quality. The breakfast wrap, Belgian waffle, Hungry Man's Breakfast and french toast are all great.

Not a lot to say about this place. I have been going here since I was but a boy. back when it was smaller and good. NOt that I dont still go back when I am in the area but I know I am always going to be somewhat disappointed. the best I can say is it is what it is. this last time I even had to send something back due to lack of cooking. Again I do always go back because it is convenient. I also hear that the marscarpone french toast is bueno.

I found this place on yelp while in the area. Great little locally owned place. Nice atmosphere. Great service and great food! Clams Casino and the Italian dishes from the menu were excellent! Will definitely go back if in the area.

We live around the corner. Great food. Couple bucks more than other diners but worth it, for lunch, dinner, whatever. Recently remodeled due to the flood. Crazy packed since they re-opened in December 2011.

Im visiting my family here in the valley, and no visit is complete without a visit to agolinos and their mascarpone stuffed french toast. i love it. i can eat it every morning though i dont,i save room for the massive quantities of alchohol that i consume daily while i am here, either accidentally or social casually. i always get the same waitress named Blondie,or at least my sister told me that was her name. She looks like Angie Dickenson for a visual.if youre in the area and need a tip for a good breakfast, try this place. i always do.

I go here very often for lunch and it has an amazing menu!!!! No one that has gone there has ever complained about the food or the service. The servers are an extremely friendly bunch!!! As far as the food, great soups, sandwiches, specials and entrees. I've tried something different each time I've gone and I would order it all again, from the Cheesesteak to the Chicken Parmesan melt!!!

My wife & I have been here for breakfast many times. One of the best places to go for breakfast locally. Never had a bad meal here & the service is always good.

Decent breakfast and decent dinner entrees. You can't really go wrong here if you're looking for better-quality diner food than the standard in NEPA. Service is friendly, and the place is always packed.

Probably the best place to eat in all of West Pittston. The food is delicious, portions massive, and the price is right. Service is great and the waiters and waitresses are very friendly. Their Facebook and website don't seem to be updated but you can call in for the daily specials.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
