Are you looking for a dive bar? Well, you're in luck. Roardrunner's serves a goal of being a dive bar PERFECTLY. It's seriously the perfect dive bar. I want to like this place, I really do. I went to a wing night here in hopes of good wings. The wings are fantastic; cooked to perfection. The sauces are brilliant and the flavor is unique, original, and worth the 35 cents per wing. The chef is a magician with a kitchen and produces magical tastes. I was very impressed by the food. But quite literally everything else about this place I did not enjoy. You have to walk side ways to get into the men's bathroom which I thought was quirky at first, but upon exiting the bathroom realized it's insanely stupid. Also, if you are using the urinal you can totally see part of the "not bar" part of the bar. I would put "lounge" there, but there is nothing that resembles a lounge about this place. But I don't want a dive bar. I went to a wing night and I HAD to buy an "adult beverage" which is incredibly weird. Why can't I just have wings and order a soda like literally every other place in the entire world that does a wing night? With a waitress in training during a Pirates baseball game and a wing night with only 2 other people (the manager and chef) on staff, Roadrunner's was woefully unprepared. I should not have to walk to the bar every time I wish to order more wings or a drink/refill and nor should my party of 5 have to do the same thing; this makes absolutely no sense. Also, let's bring up the fact that they HAVE to have a credit or debit card on hand while you order food so they can charge you should you decide to leave. This should have been my first tip off that Roadrunner's attracts a large amount of bottom feeders and mouth breathers. I will not be returning to Roadrunner's ever. If their wings were literally any other place outside of their bar I'd go there, however they are sadly based in this establishment and that will be their downfall. People will forever miss out on the phenomenal wings due to knowing that though you may leave this place, the stench of rotten cigarettes and broken dreams will follow you for at least the next 2 days.
