Ordered delivery while staying at the Hyatt House in Plymouth. Sampled a lot of items... Pizza, calzone, chicken fingers, caprese and fries. All of the items were ok, they arrived hot and our delivery guy was nice. The only item I wasn't really excited about was the tomato and mozzarella caprese. The tomatoes seemed like they weren't fresh, a little mealy and I was missing the balsamic vinegar instead it was Italian dressing. Maybe I missed the description while ordering. Overall I would go back if we were in town again but would not get the caprese.

Rocco's is a great American fast food spot. The beer availability is pretty great. Service is quick. Best food there are the strombolis!!! Amazing taste and all made from strach with fresh food. The pastas are second best of the menu. Pizzas are good too. Wish they made chicken fingers and burgers with fresh food instead of frozen to be consistent with the rest of their menu. Delivery is a bit slow (~45 min even 1.5 mile radius).

I am a frequent customer of Rocco's, and I am a huge fan of their wings, cheese fries and barbecue chicken pizza. I usually order for delivery, and almost every time that I have ordered, I have had a great experience. Unfortunately the last few times that I have ordered haven't been ideal, as I've had very rude experiences with the employees over the phone, to the point where I addressed it. Other than that, I love the food and I will continue to order again unless the rudeness continues.

I have such a soft spot for Rocco's! I have many memories of good food and good times at their Collegeville location. I've been living in Conshohocken for years, and one day my roommate tells me he's been holding out on me and there's a Rocco's location about two miles from me! And we are in their delivery range as well! Haven't tried that yet though, so no review there. I did finally drive by on a random weekday and decided to pick up a late lunch. Their lunch specials are awesome! There was over a half dozen lunch specials - lots of sandwiches and pastas for pre-millenium prices. I went for a lunch special that's actually on their regular menu. Think it's called Pasta alla Rocco - bowtie pasta with chicken in a creamy rosa sauce. On their regular menu it also has sausage and shrimp for about 12 bucks. The lunch special just had chicken and it was like 7 bucks? It was also not a problem to switch out the pasta because I turn my nose up at bowtie. Take a look at the picture I posted, the portion size was humongous. Just as importantly, it tasted good as well. I've always thought their strength was actually in their pastas and hot sandwiches. Their pizzas are okay, but not my favorite. This location sells a pretty decent selection of beers, but it's for takeout only. Because of this, I'm not sure if they are BYOB? The collegeville location is though, so maybe. The ambience is a little on the family owned, corner store, divey side though. Not fancy, but comfortable and friendly. Would definitely recommend for a hearty, cheap lunch or dinner!

Nice, friendly waitress and staff. This place has a lot of regular patrons, including my family n friends. We often eat or take out from here. Never disappointed in the last 2 yrs. Pasta and pizzas are my favorite here.

This place is a solid pizzaria. They have great cheesesteaks, hot food, awesome pizza and a large selection of alcohol in case you were looking for that. The price is very good and also the delivery is pretty speedy as well. I highly reccomend this place for a quick bite to eat or an "order in" kind of night.

There didn't seem to be any frills or gimmicks at this local place. It was my first time here, and I got pasta takeout instead of pizza so I'll stick to talking about that. I ordered for pickup on a Saturday, and it was ready when i got there. It was pretty good for the $10 price. It came with a side of garlic bread that was kind of lukewarm. The guy behind the register was friendly. They sale six packs of beer, and there seemed to be a big selection. It's worth going back again and trying the brick oven pizza.

I've been here twice, on business, with local friends from work. The way its set up is you walk in, order your food, and they combine you by party, and then bring your food to your table when its ready. Your best bet is to send someone from your party to get a table, since its first-come, and you don't want to get stuck having ordered to eat in, and have no table to sit at. Their Sicilian slices are delicious, and their salads are pretty good too. Will definately be back, the next time i'm in town!

Oh boy this is a toughy, this is one of the greats in this area as in pizza with the serious competition that goes on for that spot. Great flavor with every bite, and the dough along with that crust is tops. Has that nice smokey not too charred burned taste, just right in my opinion. Something about brick oven pizza compared to a regular oven can't be matched on any level. I can't explain it you'll just have to try it for yourself and you'll get what I'm saying . These guys are on the game, great service, I haven't had a bad experience with them like some of the other reviewers had. There are so many pies I want to try from these guys it's hard for me to stay committed to any kind of diet. I'm surrounded by good eating establishments with this place being up there. We ordered from here a few times and with every order we were satisfied with their nice sized pizzas'. Great flavor with every enjoyable slice, not trying to sound like a broken record here , but they are good. Toppings they are very generous, their sauce doesn't taste like it's from a can, has the right amount of garlic flavor to it, not over powering. I love pizza, it is the perfect food for anytime of the day and these guys do it right. Great spot, great flavors, great group behind the counter.. great all around, I'm hooked with these guys.

Le sigh. Once upon a time I loved Rocco's, but my last experience will be my last. I ordered a pretty hefty meal and provided my credit card information. I then asked for the total. I was told that I would have to get a call back. The guy taking the call then said, "See you in about an hour. Good bye." and hung up. I was a bit confused, so I called back to make sure that I would be getting a call back with the total. The guy says to me, "I will have to get it to you when I can". I said, "I would like to know the total before you process my card." He hung up on me. Yeah. F the what? Then, they overcharged us. Surprise, surprise?

The wings are GREAT! The cooks at Rocco's will make any kind of specialty pizza you want. If it's not on the menu-just ask. Definitely ask for the 5 cheese pizza!! Perfect for any cheese lover.

Staying at a local hotel, I chose Rocco's for what looked like a good menu. The Tuscan salad was just ok and the same for the hot wings were fatty and unremarkable. Their delivery was 45 mins (just as they said), and came with no fork and 4 scrawny napkins. Since I opted not to eat with my hands tonight, it was fortunate the hotel lobby had what Rocco's didn't include. A generous 2 stars for a dud of a meal.

We tried to make this place our regular pizza joint, but it just didn't work out. I was introduced to Rocco's after stopping in for sandwiches with some friends. The sandwiches were great, so I picked up a takeout menu. Our first order was a regular pizza and one of the Chicken Marsala specialty pies. The plain pizza was good, but the Marsala was beyond bland. Like unseasoned chicken, some cheese, and crust. I was expecting at least some sort of marsala flavored sauce, but it was rather dry. Since the kids liked the pizza we tried again. Plain pie and a buffalo chicken pie. Again, the plain was fine. The buffalo chicken... well, this time there was hot sauce and good cheese, but the chicken. I swear it was all fat globs and knuckles. Stuff I would have pitched if I were picking a cooked chicken. I don't expect all breast meat on a pizza, but some actual meat would be nice. Third time, we just got a plain pizza. While the plain pies had been fine in the past, this time the crust was super tough. Three strikes, you're out. I would go back to Rocco's for sandwiches, but the brick oven pizza leaves much to be desired.

I saw so many good reviews so I decided to stop by. I did not get the pizza, but the pizza did look good. I got the Roccos Italian Trio which is Spaghetti with Chicken Parm, Meatballs and sausage. I was very disappointed. It had absolutely no taste. Just boring plain food. I may go back just to try the pizza, but the pasta dish was blah.

This place is consistent, efficient, and yummy! We love their taco pizza (if you can handle the filling toppings), and have ordered a variety of their Italian pasta dishes as well. It's definitely better than your run of the mill pizzeria, but I must say they douse a lot of their pasta dishes with much more butter than they need to. Eggplant parmesan, spaghetti, etc... those are all solid. Antipasto salad can totally be an entree. It's a local's place, and they never disappoint! Friendly service and decent prices, I recommend checking it out!

Recommended! -Florentine Brick oven Pizza (I added Basil) this pizza had a thin crust that was perfectly flavored with the smoky taste of the brick oven. Fresh mozz, and just enough prosciutio to give it that savory saltiness. Sauce was not too sweet, as is the mistake of some of the other pizza joints in the area. Rocco adds a nice twist to the neighborhood pizza joint!

We ordered the brick oven pizza as take out and were not disappointed. The atmosphere looked like a family/locals place, which I wouldn't really prefer. Perfect for us for takeout though! Way better than our choices in Bridgeport.

Rocco's is a great take-out or super casual sit-down meal, that is inexpensive to boot. Love me some of their personal margheritas, charred to perfection, and topped with fresh basil. No, you're not getting buffalo mozz. here, but you are getting great food and prices. All of the pastas I've had have been great, chicken dishes tasty, and their grilled chicken caesar salad is an excellent lunch choice. Hoagies are okay, as are the steaks; but go to Lou's for the best. Service is always prompt and friendly, and they usually have seasonal specials on the weekends.

pizza sucked. plain and simple. why is so hard to make good pizza? via venetos is really the closest thing to good pizza in Norristown. main street is ok. I don't don't understand why these cheapskate pizza shop owners cant cough up a few extra pennies for quality ingredients. it is truly pathetic

  • Maura G.

this is our go-to place for delivery. the pizza is consistenly good. they even have fresh garlic as a topping (yay!). the specialty pizzas are great, and a good size. the sandwiches are good-i love the veggie italiano-perfectly cooked. they can get busy, so if you want delivery it might take a while. pick up is faster, or you can eat there. they also have take-out beer. their prices have gone up a few times in the past couple years, but it's still worth it. and i love calling for take out because they never get my name right, and they get really creative-it's very amusing. it's like a little pre-dinner joke...what will my name be this time? Miles or Joanne?
