We were former Triangle patrons for lunch, happy to see new surroundings and same good food! Mini meals and peppers and bread are favorites! Had a salad once with brown lettuce owner (who was server ) didn't seem to care and didn't give me a new one. Today salad was delicious! Restrooms need some tlc. Service is great!

Liked it here. Laid back vibe, solid service (our server was incredibly attentive). Our food was homemade, reminded me of the good stuff I would eat at my grandmother's. I'd return.

I enjoyed the food and the service was exceptional. We had a large party and the staff went out of their way to take care of us. I would recommend this place to all. Nice selection of dishes to choose from, certain to meet all tastes.

I don't even know if it deserves 1 star, we had reservations for 6:30 they didn't seat us till almost 7. They served us frozen but massively greasy breaded mushrooms and burnt crab cakes and totally forgot to even make my mother in laws food. Only good thing was the server she was super nice.

Earlier this year, Kristy's came under new management, and the food was completely changed. The new owners were part of the family that owned my previous favorite Italian restaurant, The Triangle. For people that had previously eaten at Triangle, the food is very similar with a few changes. Most important though, almost every time I've eaten here matches the quality of when Triangle was at its best. The prices now are a little cheaper, there are onions on the salads, there are a few additional spices in some of the dishes, but most important of all the food seems to always be very fresh and delicious. My go to favorite is the Lasagna, which explodes on your taste-buds with meaty cheesy deliciousness, but the Spaghetti & Meatballs/Sausage is also great, and the Parmesan Chicken is another of my favorites. I'd highly recommend Kristy's if you're looking for delicious Homemade Italian food at a reasonable price.

I went there yesterday. About the food there, first of all, it took so long to get the entree, almost one hour! The waiter said he forget to put our order in the computer:( Second, the food portion is big, like my BBQ rib, full rack was huge(2.5lb at least), but it wasn't cooked right, not tender, didn't have the right grill taste but bunch of BBQ sauce on top. Well, just for what I had, I won't write home about it at all. If the full rating is 5 stars, I will give 3. Nothing impressive of there to make me go back there.

THANK YOU Joanne. We ate here today, after traveling from Harrisburg, as, we usually did to go to the Triangle in Williamsport. WE came here after learning that members that owned the Triangle OR Joanne, has their Italian foods here. Everything was fantastic from the Italian bread & sweet peppers to the sauce & meatballs!, plus getting our usual gallon of sauce & 12 meatballs to go. I Only EAT TRIANGLE, "no matter what"! & have eaten at their previous establishment, since they opened in the 1950's. (Can not tolerate the other sweet sauces). I take home the Italian sauce, put in Zip lock containers, freeze, then put in a thermal luggage to fly to Florida! for my grandchildren! When we arrive, they ask: DID YOU BRING THE "TRIANGLE" SAUCE!!!! The only difference was the salad, which, has thin slices of onion in it, which was peculiar, as, it left a taste of onion, not the house made Italian dressing. (Wish we could just order a salad, without onions) All in all, everything was great. When you enter, the sign states seat yourself in dining area or bar....So, we went to the bar first! Just got back from Venice, IT. & this place still has the BEST ITALIAN food!!! Living in Harrisburg for 39 years, they do not offer an Italian restaurant. Some OFFER Italian foods, but are disgusting!

Food took forever to arrive. When it arrived, it was lukewarm. My mother got the fettuccine special and there were huge bones in pasty Alfredo sauce, along with chicken skin. Yeah, pretty lame. The noodles were also undercooked. Told the waitress and owner, but they didn't seem to care. Not going back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
