A frequent go to favorite! Large menu offers something for everyone. Staff is responsive and professional. A local favorite, always sure to see friends while dining. My personal favorite is their broiled haddock, my daughter loves their tuna steak, my son prefers their spicy grilled chicken, and my better half mixes it up routinely. You can't go wrong whether looking for a casual meal or special night out.

When going to Johnson's Cafe we found the price of food for the amount of food you get is poor. Also the food is lackluster in flavor. With this all said it is a quaint place.

I've been here countless times throughout the years. Food is great. I've only had one bad experience here. On my most recent visit it was Valentine's day and they have a special for that weekend. Selections are awesome. However, not sure if the food was ready before the server was available because the food was lukewarm at best. Taste was good, just not very hot. We were also seated just inside the door. I do not recommend this location. Since you are greeted and need to stand there until a table is cleared, it was not a treat to have people standing right at our table as we were trying to enjoy our meal. Best bet is to call ahead for reservations and don't think you're just going to swing by on a special weekend and be seated right away. This place has a great reputation and fills up quickly. I definitely recommend you stop in. I'm taking this past experience in stride and it will not stop future visits!

Went there for the Valentine's dinner as I did last year and the food was good. But this time...not nearly as impressed. Ordering from their Valentine's menu we ordered the Crab Bisque soup, House Salad and Prime Rib w/Baked Potato for me. My wife ordered the same soup, Cranberry & Blue Cheese Salad and Seafood Imperial Bake. The Soups were okay in flavor but not very warm. We certainly weren't going to burn out mouths on it and I've had better Crab Bisque. Salads were good and fresh. The meals, same as the soups...merely warm at best. Very flavorful I will say, but for THEIR special, not very hot. The Prime Rib was super tender with great flavor, had it be warm it would have been the best Prime Rib I ever had. My wife's meal, same issue, warm at best and her vegetables, cold. How do you serve cold vegetables? For dessert...my wife had the Creme Brule'. Myself, I wanted the Triple Chocolate Cake, BUT, they were already out of it! 6pm and they were already out of one of their Valentine desserts? I know they had reservations up to 8pm, so I'm sure that's allot of people without that option. So I had the Cranberry Walnut Apple Crisp...desserts were good and oddly, served warmer than the meals we got. Finally, not as critical but...drinks, nothing special, my wife got an unsweetened tea, I asked for a raspberry tea. I did get a raspberry tea at first, but my refills were just unsweetened tea like my wife's. I didn't have the heart to stop the waitress halfway thru filing my glass.

We recently moved to PA and have been in search of good restaurants. A colleague from work said this was the place to go. My family and I stopped in on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised to find our first good restaurant! We will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic wings at a family style restaurant. Be sure to get the homemade red blue cheese dressing for wings or salads. When the weather is nice, enjoy a meal and drink on the back patio.

Stopped here on a Sunday night passing through town. Service was a little slow to start as the place was packed - probably more than expected. Our server did a good job explaining that there was a fundraiser promotion that was open ended and that the place was crowded because of it and it wasn't a typical Sunday night. He also did a good job working through the menu and guiding suggestions. Food was fantastic. Shrimp Mac & Cheese, Ham & Cheese on a Pretzel Roll and a couple of kids items. My 3 year old was in a talkative mood and the server did a really good job talking with her, which is always nice as it made her feel special as well. All in all a really good stop once it got moving. Set us back a little bit on our schedule but glad I stopped and it's a place I've shared with family & friends in the area.

I've had a few dinners here, and everything was absolutely delicious. They have different specials, but I really enjoy their Italian specials that they have every Saturday Night. Their Seafood Alfredo is the best Seafood Alfredo that I've ever had, and ranks among my favorite Pasta dishes and meals in general. The atmosphere is nice, it's like a little hole in the wall place that actually has a lot of room. However, I did notice that if you're in the backroom the acoustics of the place is really weird, making it difficult to hear the people around you, and if there's a big party in a thinly walled off section it can be a bit obnoxious. Still, I was amazingly impressed by all of the food I've had here, and I would definitely recommend it.
