Love the new location and great selections of beer wine and cocktails. A group of 11 of us recently went for dinner and while it was crowded the staff helped us get tables together so we could all be comfortably seated. There are still a few kinks to be worked out with the food (one burger was almost raw) but the staff recooked it and seem truly commited to the customers. Keep up the good work!

A great change of pace from their sister store in Swarthmore. This one is geared more to dining rather than a market. They have a large seection of spirits and beers on tap but you wont be making a 6pak variety pak here. Food and service were excellent and the food was well prepared and creative. Well worth a repeat visit.

I had a burger, fries and pain au chocolat. The burger was cooked to medium, as requested. Fries were crisp and not greasy. I didn't find the price high. Service was good. You get what you pay for and this was well worth it.

Great beer selection. Double Jack from Firestone Walker? Yes please. Had the blue cheese burger. Meat was a little over cooked for my taste (prefer medium rare). Overall a good experience!

This review is of the NEW LOCATION in Media. I have been to this new location twice. First to get take-out for lunch and last night for dinner. Lunch Take-out: We got two sandwiches and some sides. The sandwiches were delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this spot based on the quality of their ingredients. That said, the sandwiches seemed to take an abnormal amount of time to prepare. They are already "prepared" in the merchandising fridge so what needs to be done after removing them I have no idea ... maybe they don't have sauce or something. I don't know - but for whatever reason, it seems to take way too long to fill the order. I've noticed this to some degree at their other location. Personally, I give this place a pass simply because I'm satisfied with the product eventually given to me. Dinner: My wife and I along with our two children (2 and 5) and mother-in-law went to dinner here last night and over all it was a huge success. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I consider myself generally a fan of Iron Hill but the food here is clearly better. I only make the comparison because I would say Iron Hill is probably the most similar competing business in town. The beer list here is amazing - I was very impressed by the offerings. I thought this was a great place for the kids. They devoured their food. They love the mac and cheese here. Everyone loved the fries. My daughter engulfed the hummus plate. I had a mushroom flatbread that was excellent. I can't wait to go back. As far as prices go ... to be honest, it's not a major issue for me since we go out so rarely that as long as everyone's happy with their meal I'm happy. It probably is on the expensive side, but I feel like I'm getting what I pay for - the quality of the ingredients here is very evident throughout and that's something that I hold in high regard. That said, the service situation here is a little backward and has me concerned for a number of reasons. It's set up - I suppose as the name so rightly suggests - as a market, meaning you basically go to a counter to order all yourself and then sit down and wait for everything. It ends up like a kind of "Be-your-own-waiter" experience and it's honestly pretty stupid ... You go up for drinks, and then you go up to order food, but unless you ALL want to go up, somebody has to take everybody's order, and then go up and order for everyone. Forgot something? Want something else? go back to the counter... need another drink? go back to the counter ... anybody else want anything? Kids want to go with you and order themselves so now three people are going up to the counter ... oh, but there are other people putting in an order so you have to get in line. Half the people are at the table, half are in line waiting to put in an order .... See why this gets so stupid so quick? Love the food and general atmosphere here but honestly believe that it will not succeed with the current service model. This place is a regular waitstaff and a hotter panini press away from 5-stars in my book!

Wide and expansive selection of cheeses, breads, deserts and always new menu items. Although a bit pricey it is worth it for the size and quality. A great choice to get something different, fresh and healthy for lunch.

Went here on a friday night trying to love it. I was disappointed on the layout to begin with and when I had to order at the register, for dinner....I knew the night was not going to be what I expected. I had a beer and a burger to start, my wife a wine and Pico. The wine is exactly 4oz. no more, no less. I know this because I watched them pour it from the tap and it is set for 4oz. Not a fan of 4oz. pours. We waited a while and the place began to fill up with hipsters. It got loud in the front and loud in the back. Our food came and it was not bad...but not $14 good by any stretch. The final straw was the drink reorders....I walked up to the bar (I think it was a bar, very strange looking bar) and gave our number on our can. I got the check and found what I knew would be there....other peoples drinks. I don't drink rum and my wife doesn't either but two rum and cokes were on our bill....their silly system must be killing them in profits. i want a waiter/waitress to wait on me when I go out. Nice thought 320 Mkt, but really poor execution, stick to Pico. I got better service at John's Grille ( and honesly I could get 3 burgers there for the same price and equal quality) or I'll wait for the Sterling Pig to open. I will not be back, except for take-out Pico and chips.

I was in Media PA to have lunch and wait to attend a local event. When I walked by and the store front, the menu suited what I was looking forward to eating. I ordered a croque monsieur sandwich. The cost $7.99. The sandwich consisted of a small piece of baquette coated with a thin layer of béchamel sauce. The baquette was presented inside out. On the baquette was literally one layer of less than 1/8" provolone cheese and one piece of the thinnest piece of ham that is humanly possible to slice. It was heated as it is listed as a grilled cheese. Due to the lack of contents on the bread it was similar to eating dry toast with some flavor from the sauce. Again, $7.99. I'm not sure if I was more disappointed or shocked.

I stopped here one day during a busy work day when I was in the area. The store itself is super cute and has lots of stuff I would definitely come buy if I lived in the area. I ordered the grilled cheese of the day which came with cheddar and apples. Unfortunately the sandwich was only ok. The apples were thickly cut which made them fall out as you ate. Not ok for a $6 grilled cheese.

The food here is expensive, and I would not recommend the Italian hoagie as you can get a much better one for the same price at places like primos. The cheese selection is good but, again the prices are expensive. They are about 30-60% more than Wegmans. I noticed this price difference on salami and a specific blue they were selling. The quality and selection of food is good and it is worth trying. All in all I will most likely return but, I will not be a frequent customer due to cost.

Completely overrated. I was excited to try this place because of the good beer list, but ultimately left disappointed the three times I've walked in. Twice, there was nowhere to sit. There's a bar space/counter but no seats at the bar. Good luck finding a table - two of us stood around for at least 20 minutes on the first two occasions. Without a host/hostess, people waiting to sit need to basically stalk people at tables who look like they may be leaving, which I absolutely hate doing. Second, the service is very inattentive. The third time I came here we managed to find a table (but in the outcast section in the "mall"..) and other than bringing our food, none of the servers actually followed through on our simple requests (small plates for a shared dish in a small cardboard container, etc). Prices are very high, especially for such an unrelaxing atmosphere where you need to go up to the counter to order food and drinks from the bar. Tips can't be added to a credit card payment, they must be left in cash. I assume this is due to some type of legal reason since there is no table service(?), but this must screw over the servers/bartenders. Who carries cash these days? Two stars because of a good beer list and ok but expensive food. It seems like they wanted to be a cool, hip mixture of a bar and restaurant, but have failed at both. Will not be going back, I'll probably just walk down to iron hill. Also, I liked their Facebook page a few months back to get updates while they were moving to the new location because I was excited to try it out. Whoever runs their social media needs to cut down on the "holier than thou" vibe. Had to unlike the page.

This is a nice little place if you want to grab a sandwich with fresh ingredients and some of their famous pico and chips. I've had the asaparagus soup with truffle oil, the Italian hoagie (with plenty of fresh meat and veggies), the grilled cheese with apple and bacon (yummy when you're feeling like comfort food) and the turkey and olive tepanade panini (not my favorite as I'm not a big fan of olives and this sandwich is heavy on the olive). So from my experience, I've had mostly hits The prices are a little high, so expect to spend at least $10 on a sandwich. However, their offerings are a lot different than any other place in Media, so sometimes its worth the extra $$. If there is one thing you have to try, its the chips and pico. You will not be disappointed. .

The smoky, spicy heirloom kale salad alone is worth the trip. Definitely something you won't find anywhere else. If you've been to their other location, you'll know they're big cheese people so no surprise that the bleu cheese in the grass-fed burger was incredible. Wife ate most of my fries but the few I had were good. Will definitely be back.

I've been to the new location 2 consecutive Sundays. Fist visit was ok. The staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing nor did they realize the importance of simply acknowledging their customers. Food was average. Gave it a second try a week later. Second visit even worse. Can't review the food because we were so frustrated we left. That's two strikes. We will give them one more try and some time to hopefully figure things out. We want them to be successful.

320 continues to impress! I recently visited 320 in their new location further down State Street and was very happy with the change. The decor is so well done, and I love that they have a self-serve water fountain with glasses on hand, so I don't need to bother any of the staff for continuous refills. The backroom is also very cute, and a nice retreat from when the main part of the cafe gets crowded and noisy. I was happy to see that they kept the sandwiches, cheeses, and prepared foods that were the staple of the previous Media location. The addition of a kitchen menu is a great idea because Media needs more restaurants that offer a wide variety of flavorful, healthy foods. I ordered the Tofu with cous cous, and the flavors and texture of the meal were a delicious combination. I tried a taste of the mushroom flatbread, which was probably the best flatbread that I've ever had--it was a little bit spicy, but I like spice. The menu is vegetarian friendly, so I cannot wait to go back and try some of the other options (next up on the list is the kale salad--it looked amazing!).

Have been here many times to grab a sandwich and stopped by recently on a big night in Media. The store was not busy so we thought we'd sit and eat before moving on. The menu was limited ( which was fine). We ordered an assortment of 12 tacos-the big special that evening-, 5 varieties and a cheese plate. Everything was unique and tasty but over- priced and took a very long time to come out( there were very few patrons). Twelve tacos and a cheese plate topped in at $68.00. No beverages (they did provide swanky bottles of cold tap water to pour). All in all, not the dining experience we hoped for. Probably won't stop here again with so many other choices In The borough of Media.

This new outlet for the growing 320 Market shops opened up in December 2011 to provide a much needed, wonderfully tasting, gourmet rapid food selection for the quaint and upscale Media PA market. Located on a footprint much smaller than its sister store in Swarthmore, its selections are necessarily limited. Still, the selections are outstanding. Cheeses gallore, incluiding Oregon's world-class award-winning Rogue River Blue Cheese Creamery, and other similar superb cheeses. And high-quality freshly cooked food moderately priced, including awesome crab cakes, several types of beef, chickens and fish, as well as vegetables. With all this variety, it's hard to justify cooking at home... :-) The store also has a wide variety of sandwiches to order, both hot and cold selections, with prime ingredients. Paninis, wraps, and salads are also a part of the daily faire.

My wife and I dined at the Media PA location. Great place with a nice open layout and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions. We had the Kale Salad. It was delicious, perfectly dressed and fresh! We also ordered the flat bread and shared a hamburger. All of our food was excellent. We will definitely dine here again or pick up items for a picnic from their well stocked deli case.

Moved and expanded. It's now a real restaurant with a liquor license and all. I think the new address is 300 W. State St. or something like that. We took a chance and did something I almost never do: dine opening day. It was risky but ended up being rewarding. There still is not full table service - for both food and beverage, you walk up to the counter to order. It was pretty clear that the staff was getting used to new ordering systems but they were very friendly and quick in their service. For food, they take your order, give you a coffee can painted in black with a number on it. They put the silverware in the can - nice design and recycle. And bring you the food when it's ready. The place has a warm feel to it - lots of wood on paneling and a beautiful wooden bar table in the center of the main room. There is an upstairs room that is smaller, quieter and more intimate. Recycled window frames decorate the walls there. The food is familiar to those used to the old cafe. And there are many new choices as well, including flame broiled burgers, flat breads, and full entrees. The burger with pico de gallo and cheese was perfectly done and delicious. Nice list of draft and bottled beers from nano and micro breweries. Given the kinks weren't out yet, it was worth the risk and we had a very enjoyable meal. We'll be back.

Had a few good experiences here shortly after it opened and even recommended the place to a bunch of people. Then two things happened that ruined it for me, one nitpicky thing that I would never have Yelped about under normal circumstances, and one game-changer event that will keep me from returning. First, we went in for some cocktails and food late on a Saturday afternoon and it was like a horrendous kiddie city in there. Loud obnoxious brats running all around without a parent in sight. Ugh. Now that's certainly not 320's fault; that one is on the rude douchey parents. The complaint on this day is a pretty mild one: they obviously cooked the flank steak on the same grill as either the salmon or mahi mahi that they had on the menu. You could both smell and taste the fish on the steak. Yuk. What a no-no. But still, that's an error by the cook that we could have easily overlooked. But I can't overlook this second thing that happened a few days later: I ordered a draft beer and the keg kicked. Woo hoo, I'm thinking I hit a baby jackpot. A free mini beer! At Pinnochio's. Beer Garden, customers cheer each other when that happens to jokingly celebrate somebody getting a free partial beer. Not at 320. No joke - the guy comes over with the half filled glass, much of which was foamy head, and literally said that I had "two choices". I could pay for half a beer or skip the draft and buy a bottle instead. At first I couldn't comprehend this unprecedented event. I looked over at my group for help understanding this alien concept, but they were paying me no never mind. My hand automatically kept trying to take the glass with the keg dregs and foam in it, but the guy wouldn't let go. I am so ashamed to say I told him I'd pay him half price for it. I'm still incredulous. I'd like to say I will never go in 320 again, but I'm tempted to go one final time to have a couple beers from their pretty decent list and not tip. I have to get that $3 back somehow. That's the third "choice" he neglected to mention.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THEIR CHIPS + SALSA! I tried this for the first time last week. I had heard of this place in Swarthmore but never got around to trying it, so it was nice to be able to finally eat at their Media location. I had the market turkey on a baguette and it was very very good. As I sat eating I noticed a number of people coming in just to buy their freshly made chips and salsa. I surprised myself by following the herd and buying some. I took it home to my husband and we loved it! We got the lime flavored chips, which have sugar on them instead of salt. I wish they made the lime with salt, hold the sugar, because they would be so much better. Next time I will get the plain chips because the sugar wasn't the right taste for us, but I have to say they were still excellent chips because we still managed to eat them all. The salsa is extremely flavorful and long after our evening hors d'oeuvres, I was craving more of it as a dessert! So GOOD! We will be back of course for sandwiches and specials, but for sure we plan to go back many times for the chips & salsa!

320 Market Cafe is a very cute place to grab lunch if you're not in a rush, and you don't mind spending a little more. The lines are practically out the door at lunch hours, and you will most likely have to wait 10-15 minutes to get your food. The food is good though, and for the most part the employees are enjoyable.

Enjoyed a nice lunch here with my husband. I ordered the chicken salad on baguette with lettuce, onions, tomato and hot peppers. My husband ordered the salmon wrap. Both were delicious and filling. I loved the options for customization: fresh toppings, homemade breads. My favorite part is the outstanding collection of local cheeses! There is s nice selection of smaller portion cheese at the counter which is a cheap way to try some new favorites. We'll be back!

I love this place. The food is always superb and the service is always friendly. Everything from the sandwiches to the chips to the cheeses is delicious. We typically get things to go, but the seating area is inviting and crisp. In fact, I think I'll go to 320 for lunch today.

This place is my favorite place to stop in for lunch when I'm in Media. They also have an excellent section of Take-home prepared foods to purchase when I want "restaurant quality food" at home. When I was single I would impress my dates passing their food off as my own. This place has an great selection of obscure cheese that has yet to disappoint. The food is fresh, seasonal, and delicious.

Excellent sandwiches, no espresso maker so no authentic GOOD coffee, all food looks great and is prepackaged. Very helpful and friendly staff. It's more of a market than a cafe. Fresh, fresh, fresh! Yummy!

Of the Media locations to grab a sandwich, this place has been one of my favorites. Service was quick and polite, and there are lots of options outside of sanwiches to please anyone looking for a delicious, quick meal! Added bonus: They have samples of their cheese selections out. Yum!

When I first started dining here it was amazing! Everyone was super nice and the food is delist! After over a year of wonderful experiences something changed. The staff always seems like they would rather be somewhere else. I understand people have off days but this is going on far too long. If I need to ask for info about the menu, watch out because the eyes roll hard. Sadly, due to the poor service I've stopped getting lunch & dinner here. Hope someday I can edit this and have a more positive experience to report!

Huge fan of 320 and both of their locations. And seriously, it would be hard to find better chips and pico anywhere closeby. Or anywhere, period. Yes, they're that good. Their new place is fabulous. It's warm & rustic (thanks to a lot of reclaimed materials & wood and smart paint colors) and it's informal enough that you feel like you're eating at an old friends house. Or drinking...because now they have an amazing selection of beers and some draft wine. It's worth a trip to 320 just to check out the alcohol selection. But if you did...you'd miss the BEST part of 320. The food is fresh, delicious and done right. The salads, sandwiches (I tried to have my husband banned from their place back in the day b/c his diet consisted of 320 sandwiches...that's it...just their sandwiches. I think he finally agreed to mix it up with a salad or two after he realized how amazing they were too) burgers are all so so good. Finally, it's worth mentioning that their prepared food and cheese case make picking something up for a get-together really easy. The bonus is that you will be the star of the party b/c of what you bring. Probably doesn't even matter what...it's all THAT good. Congrats on the new space 320 - you guys hit a homerun with this one!

They've really discovered their forte here and have run with it. The menu is simple and the food is amazing. On my first go, I ordered the avacado tartare and the mushroom and kale tacos-- both simple offerings that have unrivaled taste complexity. The tartare had great presentation, high quality ingredients, and a dressing that changed my life. The arugula had that peppery quality you look for and the tomatoes were cut up to a most wonderful bite-size. The tacos were offered on a soft corn tortilla and had sauteed button mushrooms second to none. The jalapeno peppers were the perfect volume and The kale was crisp. I know what my go-to is. The only lacking feature here is practicality. They didn't offer sharing plates when the two of us ordered one item and its hard to decipher what is self serve and what is provided. Though, once you're a regular, you'll quickly realize that you order at a separate counter for dine in, replenish your own beverages (including a self serve water station) and leave your dishes behind (be respectful!). I'm going to be back and I'll be bringing the wolf pack. Hopefully they'll accommodate the apprehensive and provide some signs for guidance (or some sort of hybrid host/ stockman).

Went with wife and two kids, but was in the mood for something simple so I had The Lundi Blue, a burger with blue cheese and bacon. My wife had the crab cake, and kids just had cheeseburgers. My burger was nothing spectacular, it was juicy and flavorful but not particularly memorable. My wife's crab cake was "just ok" as well. $50 for three burgers and a crab cake seemed a touch higher than I would have guessed.

The new location is wonderful! I had a walnut, fig, blue cheese salad, french fries, and BBQ pork tacos with jicama. Pork tacos were fresh, seasoned nicely, and the BBQ sauce went with the jicama perfectly. Soda fountain has high quality, awesome root beer. Everything was super tasty, and satisfying. Staff was very friendly. Lovely time.

The place is good for getting good quality beers and some decent food. I like the seat yourself and pay at the counter and no tipping. What I don't like is the lack of menu changes and a limited menu at best. They need to have more specials and change the menu more. It can't be that hard to make some new things every once in a while. Also they have a water dispenser there but they give you mini glasses and no ice. We get the ice from the machine but most people don't know its there. We are grown ups if we want water we can handle a larger glass and ice right near the water spigot. No need to hide it put out tiny glasses. I have reached my limits on the menu I would go back more but there is nothing new to try.

I have to say I'm quite underwhelmed by this place. As a customer of the original location in Swarthmore, I have a different expectation when it comes to the quality of the food 320 offers especially when they maintain their expense. For example, the pico de gallo is a huge favorite of 320 customers but it's just fallen off for me. The avocado used to be sliced up in chunks that were uniform with the rest of the salsa but now it seems they just put huge chunks of avocado in the pico. I try to overlook stuff like this but it seems that 320 used to take more care with their food prep. I returned again to find out they had relocated to a bigger venue which now offers a wine and draft list which I thought was pretty cool. didn't get a full synopsis of the list. I ordered two mahi tacos which were dressed nicely with a mango salsa and jicama slaw but were completely bland. I will probably come back, there is a lot of potential here and I always wish success for small businesses.
