Love Chen's! Portions are large and last us at last 2 meals, sometimes 3. Prices are just right and food is delicious!

If there were 1/2 stars I'd go 3 1/2 ... alas, they score four. Their tofu is always done right. Fresh, springy, delicious. But what I love is the price. For some reason, this is one of the least expensive chinese places I've encountered. I can't speak their meat dishes but my mother, the rabid carnivore said unintelligible positive things while tearing through a roast pork dish. I guess she liked it too. Don't come here for atmosphere. It has none. The take out is where it's at. Also - $10 minimum for credit cards. And they're not flexible about that. Bah

Picked up some takeout the other day. I had sesame beef, egg rolls and Chinese donuts. Portions were good size. I got sick that night. It could be a coincidence but I'm not going to risk it.

FINALLY! Great (not just good, but great) Chinese food within driving distance of E-Town. This place is just as good as China Tea House in Mechanicsburg, which I frequent during my work week. Awesome pricing, delicious food, and friendly service.

Out of all the Chinese Food joints in the Marietta/Mount Joy area, this one is the best. I have tried their General Tsao's Chicken, Fried Cheese Wontons, Chicken and Veggies Hunan style, and several other random dishes. I haven't been disappointed.

Not a very clean place to eat. Plus they bring their children to the restaurant and let the run all over the kitchen. The food was not good also.

We ordered carry-out; shrimp in lobster sauce is delicious, crab rangoons were very good as well, as are the terriaki beef sticks. The portion sizes are very good. Great choice for Chinese food in the Marietta/Maytown area.

My General Tso's Chicken was just fine - in fact, my golden retriever even decided to eat about 1/3 of my dinner off my plate when I walked away. However, my wife ordered Chicken Lo Mein and it made her sick. So that was kind of a bummer. It's nice to have a Chinese restaurant so close to our house, but I think we will be ordering somewhere else from now on.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
