Best meal I've ever had in Central PA. All four entrees our table ordered were simply amazing! I will be back every time I'm in this area.

Delicious. Stopped here spur of the moment on a road trip. Unexpected gem. Friendly helpful waitstaff. Came here for dinner but next time I want to plan to come for lunch.

This place is awesome. Had the Tostada for lunch and it was absolutely fantastic. Lewisburg is fortunate to have this first class restaurant in town. And Reba was a warm and welcoming treat when she stopped at our table. I highly recommend Reba and Panchos for some unique dining.

Local favorite, worth a splurge or a trip! Open with fries and mayo, and pretend to be healthy with avocado romaine salad. The try the fish, steak, or a marvelous homemade pasta or Mexican dish. Yummy!

Fresh, innovative and absolutely delicious! We had a poblano and cotija cheese sandwich, mushroom taquitos, and mole roja.

Best food in Lewisburg. French fries as an appetizer? I am so glad we tried that! Everything is fresh and delicious. Even the desserts are amazing! We love his restaurant and the owners too.

I like this place because it is very accommodating to gluten intolerance. They did the crab cake preparation with a different fish so that I could have the flavors of that dish and not be put in stitches. It was very tasty. I enjoy the atmosphere of the place, it is homey and comfortable, and not pretentious, but still upscale and delicious. My partner had the short rib, and yum, it was so good. For dessert we had the dark chocolate and almond bark, and while it sounds so simple, it was delicious, delicious, melt-in-your-mouth chocolatey goodness. Stuff is addictive. It wasn't cheap (and we brought our own wine), but I hope to eat here again before we move out of the area.

We found this lunch spot off Yelp reviews on our way through Lewisburg. "Best restaurant in town" drew us in. Absolutely correct. Terrific (and unusual) food, great service and clean clean CLEAN. Can't wait to go back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend. 5 stars for sure.

Fabulous! Skinny pizza is always on the menu and should not be missed. If you're there on a day when they are offering crab cakes, definitely make sure to get an order of them! We've never had anything there that we didn't like. The trays at lunch time are a great way to try a few different things (soup, salad, pizza, and cookies all on one tray!) in one visit.

Found Reba & Pancho's tonight for dinner. Was just looking on the internet for Mexican in the Milton, PA area and found them in Lewisburg a few miles away. I sure am glad that I found it. I have eaten at some great Mexican and Southwestern food restaurants including Rick Bayless' in Chicago, some great ones in the DFW area. This one ranks right up there about as high as I can rank it in food quality and flavor. One of the owners, the wife, who runs the kitchen was out in the dining room interacting with guests and having a great time. Lots of personality and talent. Everything I had was excellent! Something as simple as a black bean side dish was the second best I have ever had - only my own are better and then just barely. The flan that I had for dessert was the best balanced flavor and sweetness that I have ever had. I thought at first the caramel sauce was a bit light in color - then I tasted it. Just right! It was as smooth and silky in texture as a flan could possibly be. Service was great and I struck up a conversation with some guests at an adjoining table. I was wanting a glass of wine and it is a BYOB place and since I am traveling for work - no such thing for me. The couple was finishing up their meal and she had the waitress bring another glass and she poured me the last glass of an excellent CA Merlot. What a great place! I recommend Reba & Pancho's without reservation. I was told though that on the weekends during prime time you had better have a reservation.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience at Reba and Pancho's this evening. My wife ordered the crab cake special. She is a connoisseur and said they were the best she ever has had -- mainly crab meat and very little filler. I ordered the wild sockeye salmon special. It was served over couscous, ordinarily not a favorite of mine, but must confess it was very tasty. Against our better judgment, we both ordered dessert: my spouse enjoyed a wonderful, rich flan and I thoroughly enjoyed a large bowl of blueberries in creme en glace. Not to be taking for granted was a fresh cup of delicious coffee. Don't forget to BYOB of your favorite vino and be prepared for a delightful evening!

Ok, let's start from the top because the summary you find here has some inaccuracies: 1) The attire is not dressy, if you don't want it to be. This is a fantastic, casual place which people sometimes attend while dressed up, but the character of the place is pretty laid back. The FOCUS is on the quality of the FOOD and on FRIENDLINESS, so the atmosphere has none of the stuffiness you'd find at other Market St. restaurants. 2) Yes, it's good for dinner; in fact it's more than good it's EXCELLENT. I'd say it is the only high quality restaurant in Lewisburg. Other places try, but don't get to this level. The place is also outstanding for LUNCH. I make it a point to hit it at least once a week for lunch and although the dining room is always busy, both the food and the service are outstanding. 3) Good for kids? YES! I've been taking my young kids there ever since they opened (ever since #2 was a baby). The question is: are your kids ready to eat great food or do they require fried chicken fingers or a run of the mill kids menu? If your kids eat what you eat and enjoy good food, then R&P is a good place for kids. Just keep in mind that it's not Chuck E. Cheese's and your kids should at least try to behave. Now, about the restaurant. The place rocks. The menu is seasonal and incorporates the goodness of local produce and always interesting protein. The specials, which are changed nearly daily, incorporate the very best ingredients the chefs can get their hands on. If a local farmer shows up with a bushel of morels, you'll see morels in a special that same week. When sweet corn is at it's best, you get a delicious corn soup. Catch my drift? It's that kind of place and it's NOT PRICEY. If you're used to eating out and eating well, you'll find the their prices are very reasonable and that the portions are very satisfying. I don't know what I love the most there at R&P's. The seafood is always fantastic regardless of it being in an Italian or in a Mexican dish (I miss their cacciucco and I can't have enough of their char, steelhead trout, and crabcake). The pasta is as good as in Italy - made fresh in the house, cooked to perfection, and dressed with just the right amount of condimento. Mario Batali would be proud of them. The Mexican food is really Mexican, and not of a TexMex perverted persuasion. They can do perfect steak, amazing lamb chops, incredible lamb shanks. Trust me, they have Midas' touch. I just came back from Les Halles, in New York city, which Anthony Bourdain says makes the best fries. He's clearly not been to Reba and Pancho's, who could give the chefs at Les Halles quite a few lessons, starting with the fries. When berries are in season, R&P serves them with a créme anglaise that will make you cry of joy. Go to R&P's, bring your best wine, peek into the kitchen, say hello to the chefs, and let the service take care of you. It will be just like going home, except that the food will be much better.

We are lucky to have it! This place is excellent. Small and family run with outstanding food. The menu is very small but we've never had anything off of it that wasn't outstanding. Even their salads are extraordinary. Be advised it is BYOB. The first time we went we weren't aware of that and they actually held our table so we could run up the street to the wine store. The food is tough to classify, I wouldn't call it Mexican though, so don't let the other reviews confuse you. Calling ahead for a reservation is always a good idea on weekends as they sometimes are totally booked. Lewisburg is lucky to have such an amazing place.

As a Central PA native, I am fairly familiar with most of the restaurants in the area. However, Reba and Pancho's snuck under my radar. For going on a Saturday night, the place was fairly empty. The menus are pretty unclear as to what you are going to be getting. I wasn't a fan of the Spring Rolls or the chicken stew I had. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere is very homey. Pricey. BYOB.

After many repeat visits, I think this restaurant deserves an upgrade to 5 stars for overall consistency of quality and taste. I'm so grateful it's in the area.

One of the best restaurants in Lewisburg. I admit that I'm partially biased since one of the owners was my babysitter when I was growing up there. She went to the Culinary Institute of America and has travelled extensively to bring a delicious fusion of Mexican, Italian, South American, and America flavors to the dishes. The skinny pizza and romaine with avocado dressing are my favorites. Also love that it is BYOB.

During my first (and so far, only visit to this restaurant), I had the wonderful experience of making some very fond memories here -- Several months ago, our family and several close family friends gathered together for our engagement dinner at this very fun and imaginative restaurant. It was a memorable evening of camaraderie, conversation, good food and wine. One of the "newer" restaurants in Lewisburg (i.e., for Lewisburg this means in the last 3-5 years), Reba & Pancho's has a laid-back homey feel to it -- The food is good, the decor is nice, and the staff are welcoming. If you plan to drink alcohol, you should know that the place is BYOB, which frankly, is just fine by me. Although this place is self-categorized as "Mediterranean & Mexican Cuisine," I like to think of it more as the Mexican-style equivalent of "Asian Fusion." By this statement I mean that, while Mexican influences definitely predominate the cuisine (i.e., the owners/cooks are a husband & wife team, and the husband in fact hails from Mexico), the menu also takes its inspiration from other world cultures with some modern American touches thrown into the mix. I was definitely wowed by their delicious and most creative appetizers -- Their spring rolls are quite different from the prototypical Asian-style spring rolls so often found in Chinese restaurants, and the result is a pleasant and tasty surprise for the senses. I also tried a spicy tamale-like appetizer -- topped with salsa verde and melted cheese, which was quite good. (Since it's been a while since my last visit, I can't remember the exact name of the dish, only a vague approximation of the ingredients. Their menu isn't listed online, so I obviously can't double-check it to refresh my memory!) I was fairly adventurous in my choice of main courses - I had the chicken in a black mole sauce. The chicken was tender, but I wasn't particularly a fan of how the black mole sauce tasted in combination with the chicken. To be fair, it was the first time I'd had a mole sauce of any sort, so while I'm a fairly sophisticated food connoisseur, perhaps I need a few more mole tasting experiences under my belt before I make any judgments about the particular preparation of the mole at this restaurant. For now, I'll just say that chicken with black mole sauce doesn't appear to be my thing. However, I did sample other people's dinners and appetizers, and I can tell you that all of these dishes were excellent. While Reba & Pancho's has a loyal following, I still think that more people need to know about and experience Reba & Pancho's. So all of central PA foodies, if you happen to be reading this review on yelp.com , I sincerely recommend that you to give this place a try!

I just had dinner at Reba and Pancho's and it was awesome! We had a large group and they served us a fixed menu - all of the food was amazing. All of the food was extremely well-prepared. Fresh and delicious. The service was great. I can't say enough great things about this wonderful gem of a local restaurant.

I went to Reba and Panchos with high hopes after reading many positive reviews and seeing it rated higher than my Lewisburg favorites Elizabeth's and Brasserie Louis. The second I saw the menu I was disappointed; there was a very limited selection, and none of the options really turned me on. I ended up getting arancini for an appetizer, which was decent; just fried balls of rice and cheese sitting in a tomato sauce, not very hard to screw up. For my entre I had the strangest interpretation of a crab cake that I have ever seen. The crab cake was baked, and was hardly browned at all on the outside. It had no lump crab meat, and literally did not have a single ingredient except for crab. I suppose the excitement in the dish was supposed to come from the sauce that the cake was sitting in, which was essentially warm salsa verde with a few olives and mushrooms in it. The sauce was overpowering, and I could hardly taste the low quality crab meat (maybe a plus?). My fellow diners were also extremely disappointed by their meals, and we did not hesitate to refuse dessert. I will not be returning to Reba and Panchos for any more "fine dining." I have been consistently impressed with Brasserie Louis and urge anyone looking for a nice meal and Lewisburg to go there.

I think the reason for this restaurant's success is that the owners are directly involved day-in-day-out with running the place - they do the menu planning and I think most of the cooking. It is excellent food at a fair value in a nice atmosphere without the pretension that, say Elizabeth's has. Dinner is well priced for the high quality although more than we can usually spend. I don't actually go as much as I would like. They have amazing lunch "trays" that are a good portion of ever-varying really tasty main dishes, a nice salad and some excellent cookies. These cost ~$10. They try to make it fast because unfortunatly their location is out of town and getting there for lunch is non-trivial for those working downtown. If they were downtown I would be fat, broke and happy. Attire at dinner is not t-shirt and flip-flops but not what I would call dressy. Lunch is more relaxed but not swimming suit, etc. They do their best to accommodate kids, but really it just doesn't make sense to bring them. I am pretty sure it is BYOB for wine with dinner. BTW The food is very well flavored and tasty, but unlike another reviewer I would never accuse it of being spicy.

One of our favorite restaurants. Family run with consistent food quality, service and Menu. When visiting the restaurant order a fish selection and then add plates from there. You can't go wrong, try something new. The restaurant is BYOB, so plan accordingly. Weekends can be very busy, so make a reservation if possible. I would not hesitate to bring young kids, but would recommend going on the early side as it gets busy and some tables are pretty close by.

I think I had the best "nachos" of my life last night. They were so good I ordered a "deconstructed" version to take home with me. They didn't even have melted cheese! The "nacho" sauce was made with stewed cactus, sour cream/ crema, and many, many other flavors/ spices. I highly reccomend these. Our entrees were also amazing. I had a swordfish special, my husband had pork tenderloin, and my toddler had a pizza. All three were great. My dish had polenta with a tomato "fondue" that was just a perfect flavor combination...very ripe tomato flavors, something a little smokey, and capers! It was some of the best food we've had in a while. We will definately be back. While we brought our kid, this would be a fabulous "date night" place. So glad we finally made it here.

Our family enjoyed an excellent meal at Reba and Pancho's. The setting is charming, the service was fantastic and the food was truly exceptional with very fine attention to flavor, preparation and presentation. The Short Rib dish with Parmesan Risotto was out of this world, the fish of the day with polenta melt-in-your-mouth amazing and the Papardelle perfectly done. Its an added bonus that we can bring out own wine. Reba and Pancho's will be our favorite destination in Lewisburg from now on.

My husband and I recently rented out Reba and Pancho's for an evening for our wedding rehearsal dinner...in a word, the experience was amazing. We had 45 guests, and everyone raved about the food. Bekah and Nacho carefully planned our the evening and menu for us far ahead of time. We had people from all around the country; New York, Boston, Seattle, Pittsburgh, and the overall feeling was that the meal was as at the same level or higher than the finest restaurants in those cities. Bekah and Nacho went out of their way to help make this a memorable day for us, and this evening really set the tone for the entire weekend. Reba and Pancho's has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and anytime we visit Lewisburg in the future, we will make it a point to visit.

This restaurant is a pleasant surprise combining Mexican and Italian influences. Sounds like an odd combination, but it works beautifully. Every meal served at our table was artfully prepared, portioned perfectly and delicious. Try the funditto for an appetizer. The service was friendly and efficient.

Menu was a little limited and prices were pretty darn high for central Pennsylvania. We had the Ribeye and the Pork Chop which were very nice Nice ut not crazy portions and good quality. The sauces are all of a spicy Mexican variety - think traditional American style food with Mexican sauces. I guess i was expecting the place to lean a little more on the fresh local produce and meats - there were two seafood entrees I was reluctant to try but which have been reviewed favorably by others. The restraunt is set outside the quaint part of Lewisburg which is downtown and off into a little bit of "townie" land. Given that I thought the prices were a little steep. BYOB so hit the State store on Market Street before arriving. The dining room was large but nicely partitioned such that you could easily have a nice conversation. Friendly service.

Oh, to the person who was complaining about the "limited selection" on the menu, well, honey, that's what makes this place great. They don't put a lot of fluff on their menu and what they DO put on there they make extremely well. This is THE BEST restaurant in the Lewisburg area. I am a native Californian and have eaten so many different places with different cuisines. Their food IS fabulous, it won't be fabulous if you're picky or looking for an extensive menu. Come with an open mind and ready to eat what they offer. Ambiance: It's wonderful, very cozy and the wait staff is very attentive. They have a room which allows a little more privacy for larger parties, which is nice. Child Friendly: Mmm, I have two children, 3 and 5, I have taken them there before, for lunch, and it was fine. I don't know if I'd want to have them tag along for dinner though. The lunch crowd is much different than the dinner crowd. There is enough space if you have a stroller, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Brought my wife here for an early Valentines Day dinner and it was fantastic. I always heard great things about Reba & Pancho's but this was our first time here. The food was excellent. I had the braised short ribs and my wife had the crab cake. We loved both. The short ribs just melted in your mouth and the crab cake was full of crab and flavor. We also enjoyed the skinny pizza appetizer that appeared to be made on a tortilla shell. The wait staff was also great. Very friendly and attentive. My only words of advice is this place is a little pricey for the Central PA area. But the food is unlike any you will find in Central PA. Definitely the kind of place you take someone for a special occasion. Also the menu is very limited. It seems to change seasonally which I love because I love to try new things. This may be a problem for some who are picky eaters, which I am not. Oh, one more thing. It's BYOB so don't forge the wine!

  • Alberto T.

Just a little bit of advice for the owners. If you ask your customer how they heard about you, and they say Yelp, don't command them to leave you a good review. Especially within minutes of arriving. Just serve good food, with friendly service, and at fair prices. Unfortunately, I didn't find any of this on my visit to Reba and Pancho's. I guess it's a lot easier to be a high-reviewed fine dining restaurant when you're the only place in town. Very over-priced for a lackluster menu, unexceptional service, and bland dessert.

C and I were passing through Lewisburg, PA during our east coast trip. We were somewhat surprised at the lack of choices for dining in the area. Fortunately, Yelp guided us to Reba & Panchos. My impressions: The good: -- Cozy dining rooms with tables spread far enough apart to provide a sense of privacy. -- We both ordered crab cakes (a special of the day), which were possibly the best we've had . . . ever. Kudos to the chef! -- It's BYOB. The bad: -- The staff was attired in exactly the same "uniform" as the housekeeping staff at our motel: Tan pants, golf shirts, and gym shoes. Awful idea. I suggest requiring servers to wear black pants, matching shirts (at least color), and actual shoes. The attire brought this place down to the level of a Waffle House. -- The staff seemed green; not trained to the level appropriate for a $$$ establishment. They didn't exude decorum nor professionalism. They were friendly, but in the way they are friendly at a fast food place. -- The place seriously needs acoustical treatment. It was noisy. The tables don't have tablecloths and the floor is wood, so there is nothing to absorb the considerable noise. -- Candles and background music would bring this place up several notches. -- When we first arrived, at a door near the rear parking lot, we thought we had come in through the wrong entrance. It felt like a take-out. Not sure what they can do to improve this. Perhaps crank down the lights and isolate the kitchen noise. If we lived around Lewisburg, I imagine we would go back because it's the only real choice we saw for upscale dining. However, it does not feel like upscale dining. It feels like its overpriced. The illusion of upscale is missing. The food matches upscale; but not the ambiance or service. We paid $32 each for a crab cake (i.e. one). We pay those prices in Chicago all the time, but the ambiance and service match the food. I don't intend this review to be harsh or negative; it's meant as a prod to the owners to attend to some important details. The food is really quite good.

  • Sunia T.

The ambience is certainly not uber casual, but to say it is upscale may be a bit of a stretch. It is more-so semi casual, cozy, and extremely intimate. Do try the organic chicken, it was extraordinarily delicious and cooked to perfection. The tostada was enticing as well, but the savory chicken and sautéed vegetables were on another level. The salad we ordered was not a dish I was too fond of because it was pure mayonnaise mixed into iceberg lettuce, although it was in the description but my friend who had ordered it thoroughly enjoyed it due to that fact that she loves mayonnaise. The poached pear dessert was indeed phenomenal and in the most delectable cinnamon sauce. So why did I take away an extra star? Being the cookie monster that I am, when I ordered the cookie dessert platter, I expected large gooey soft baked cookies. Instead, I was given tiny miniature cookies that tasted and looked like they were out of a box, that was an issue for me. The gelato was divine though. All in all, a great restaurant with a wonderful ambience, attentive staff, and great food.

Reba and panchos's is one of my favorite restaurants in the Lewisburg area. Tonight I had the crab cake and the salad with an avocado salad dressing. Both were good! We split totopos which was some kind of tuna taco salad. It was good! It's Byob so you'll save some money if you bring your own wine or beer.
