i am fortunate enough to live within reasonable walking distance from this place (although sometimes i get lazy and order delivery, heh). thus far, everything that i've tried has been superb. my son & i are both in love with their crispy chicken salad - w/honey mustard dressing, of course! the large is i think $6.99 and VERY generous - piled high w/chicken. their subs are incredible - their sub rolls are made out of PIZZA DOUGH and are absolutely delicious! i usually have a hard & fast "no wheat" rule, but i just can't resist breaking it here. my favorites are the meatball parm & the tuna (with sweet peppers!). i can't speak for the pizza, because i've never tried it. admittedly, i'm not a huge pizza person. but, the rest of their food is really stellar especially considering the price & type of cuisine. don't come here expecting John J Jeffries - come here expecting awesome subs, salads, & (probably) pizza, and you certainly won't be disappointed.

Every bit as good as the neighborhood pizza I grew up on back in the 70s, and with the same feel. One or two guys making the pies, easy place to hang out.

Today I ordered three items off the menu, Two of which were delivered origionally. The whole order was a fiasco. From the first phone call of many to get the order right the person on the phone was rude. When I finally called back to complain about the service and all of the problems with the order the manager was very defensive and rude herself. She wouldn't listen to me told me that I didn't need to order it there again if I wasn't satisfied. She actually thought that they were polite. This is not the behavior of someone in the service industry and... I won't order from Antonio's again.. Ever.

Cardboard crust, crafted for the middlings that prefer the taste of fast-food pizza. Cheap pizza at the cost of real, Italian pizzerias. No thank you.

This place used to be the best in Lancaster. It was clean and it was friendly and the food was fresh. Now its dirty people aren't friendly and the food is not fresh. The pizzas overdone, sloppy, Wet on the bottom of the box,..... really, truly, need i say more. Save your money just tell me where a good piece of pizza is to be found it besides New York City.

Ordered food, and they stated that it would take 45 minutes. 45 minutes on a Friday night is totally acceptable for pizza. However, after an hour and half I decided to give them a call. They answered, placed me on hold, and stated they skipped my order and asked if I still wanted it since it could take another 45 minutes. Mistakes happen, but instead of trying to retain a customer, you just tell them that if they still want your food, they have to wait again? It would have been basic customer service to apologize, and the rep didn't even say sorry...

I used to live right down the street from Antonio's, so I can only speak to their take-out, not delivery. The Antonio stromboli is so good. It's stuffed full of cheese, ham, pepperoni, green peppers, and mushrooms. A small stromboli will easily feed two people, and a medium will feed two very hungry people :-) The Italian subs are pretty good too, but I've had better elsewhere. The true gems are the strombolis at Antonio's.

Excellent wraps! Anytime I've ordered from them I've found the delivery service to be great: on time and very courteous delivery guys. Food is always fresh and the quality doesn't slide. Highly recommend!

A good pizza place with a very nice staff delivering a great customer experience. Showed up with a group of 15/16 year old soccer players @ 6:30pm on a Saturday. They seemed a little flustered at the time we arrived with a group of 12 - but they got it together and baked us some nice pies - the kids enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza we had a white with garlic and spinach added on top. Also enjoyed their Greek Salad. All in all a good time was had by all - on a very hot (Record 101 degree) Saturday night. One star deduction for an anemic a/c in the restaurant.

I honestly never leave negative reviews, ever, but my experience today was so lackluster that I had to speak on it. I called to order for pickup, just an Italian sub. When the phone was actually answered after four rings, the voice of the girl who answered lacked any sign of enthusiasm. I ordered my sub with oil and vinegar and was told it would take about 15 minutes. She didn't ask for a name or number or anything. I arrived a little early, as I was already on the road. When I walked in, the girl at the counter at first barely acknowledged my presence, then asked what I needed. I let her know I was there for a pickup and she asked which one and went over to the prep counter. She let me know it wasn't ready..... I asked really awkwardly, because it felt like I was bothering her, if I could go ahead and pay. After we finished the transaction, the cook actually delivered the food to me. I honestly wish he were the one interacting with customers. The sub was meh, but the experience would have been much better had there been an actual customer service oriented person manning the desk. I hope that help wanted sign is for cashiers.....

We love, love, love Antonio's Pizza....but we do cringe every time we order because the price just seems way too high. How do 2 pizzas with a couple of toppings come in close to $45....and all but one of those toppings is meat. Really?? So other than price we love their pizza but alas, we likely need to try a few others given how pricey it can be....

Antonio's pizza and subs are great, however tonight was one of the worst experiences we have had, placed our order for delivery at 7:15. We were told it would be an hour, semi understandable since it is a Friday night, 1 hour and 15 minutes later we called seeing if maybe our order was misplaced since it was only 3 subs and two sides and we live 3 blocks away. The lady seemed very inconvenienced that we called back quickly said yes it left and hung up without apologizing for the wait or even taking a few seconds to say goodbye...30 minutes later our food finally arrived. Can not complain about the quality of food however customer service is not number 1...will reconsider when ordering for delivery!

Delivery pizza. Two pies, 18", extra large. One pepperoni the other cheese. The pies were delivered hot and within a half an hour. True to other reviews the sauce was a little on the sweet side but I liked it. The crust was thin but not crackery. It's more of a New York style - big foldable slices. A good amount if cheese but not too much. Same for the sauce, a good amount bit not too much.

I've only ordered plain pizza here, but it is sooo good I haven't wanted to go elsewhere. This is in my top 3 fav places to get pizza in the area.

Nearly every time I am back in Lancaster, I try to stop by here. As said in my previous review, I lived above this place my Junior Year of college. I am a huge fan of the homemade bread. It really makes any sandwich taste phenomenal. The chicken parm is great and I do think they have the best the pizza in Lancaster, but I'm not so sure that is saying much. The pizza options are pretty lacking, but Antonio's is usually a solid choice. The reason I am dropping the review 2 stars is because the service/time it takes to make an order is absolutely ridiculous. It was definitely like this while I was in college and not much has changed as I stopped back the other day. It takes them forever to do anything. My wife and I stopped in and ordered 1 slice of pizza and a chicken parm. The slice (the pizza was already made) took 15 minutes to be served to us and we were the only people in the restaurant. The chicken parm took nearly a half hour - it was almost like they completely forgot about the order, even though we were sitting there the whole time. But...the food was very good. I guess you can overlook the lackluster service sometimes when the food is good. The food here is very good but visit knowing you may be there a while.

I have been wanting to write this review for a while now. Being from NYC, I am extremely picky about my pizza. We have several thousand to choose from in NY, and I have been to some of the very best. The best pizza in my opinion is from Naples, but that's another story........ Anyway, having said that, I love this place. They have a zillion different toppings to choose from, including spinach, eggplant, and broccoli (for all us veggie lovers) which is what I love most about them. Their sauce is just marginally sweeter than I prefer, and their regular crust is a little too thick and chewy for me, but I usually request that they thin it out a little more for me and cook it longer so the crust is nice and crispy (aka "well done"). Not a big deal, and they always accommodate. With the cooking adjustment and a little chili flake, it is about as close to NYC pizza as I can get. Rosetta, the person who takes my orders, is just lovely. She is always very sweet and friendly. She knows my voice on the phone, and always knows exactly what I am going to order. Now THAT'S customer service! As a suggestion, I would love it if they offered a whole wheat crust. It's not very authentic, but it would be a good healthy alternative - or even a gluten-free crust for those poor folks who can't have wheat........ I have tried House of Pizza, Sluggers, Dominion, and a few others in Lancaster, but I always go back to Antonio's. They are still my favorite, and I will always be a fan!

We ordered pizza for pickup after spending two and a half hours at Longs Park while on vacation in Lancaster. We were exhausted and didn't have the patience to deal with bad pizza. The dough was crisp yet flexible to fold while while eating. The sauce was just right and it was cooked to perfection. Parking was challenging but in a city of pizza fanatics, (pizzerias are everywhere), it was worth it and we will return. This pizza was made with love, for sure.

I got a pizza here the other day. My original intention was to go to dominion on columbia ave, but they decided to be closed. So I remembered this place and thought Id write a review. The pizza was good hot, cold and reheated. Some places make pizza that good only when its hot. The downside is that there is street parking only, and I had to drive around the block to find a space. This was a saturday, so I could find one, Id imagine on a busy day there are 0 spaces available. The restaurant istelf is nice and clean and has friendly service as well as deliveries. 4 M's or mmmm

We just moved to the area and are so excited to find Antonio's! Honest to goodness east coast pizza! The sauce was just the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The dough was a nice crisp texture and perfectly baked. We are happy and don't have to search any further for our pizza place!

I totally agree with Merrill on the bread- this was my "go to" hoagie stop when I was living in Lancaster. Their turkey hoagies were a staple of my diet. So yummy! In fact, just writing this review has made me want it- damn I wish I didn't live in CA!

pizza is hand tossed, thin, crispy on the bottom. sauce has a bit of sweetness. could use a bit more cheese on top. overall very decent pizza. will probably make this my lancaster city pizza spot.

I had pizza. It was average, no better. Credit where it's due, it was prepared as I had requested (light sauce) but overall, the crust was not great, the sausage was as bland as Italian sausage can be and the whole thing was just, well, it was dinner and nothing more. It wasn't bad but I won't be going back to get average. My wife had a sub from them and said it was good.

Worst pizza place in lancaster. Don't waste your time, the staff is rude and incompetent. I received a partial order after ordering food and they took it on themselves to delete the rest of my order and were rude as hell about it on top of that. I was even hung up on when I called to ask where the rest of my food was. I will never order from here again. The only reason I even gave them one star is because you can't post with completing that part.
