kind of an odd set up, you walk in and place your order and then seat your self and wait for food to be ready and then go pick it up at the window. my burger was very good and awesome fries. my wifes buffalo burger was very gamey tasking. her and I had lots of buffalo and this was the most gamiest tasting, edible but would not get it again..

"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in." Pacino never could have imagined that his infamous quote would be used to describe a burger joint but hey, what the hell, because to me it truly applies here. I have a long and partially miserable history with the chain that is Fudd's in general but in particular with this location due to ebbs and flows relating not only to their customer service but also their food quality. It can be anything from Snoop Dog (Lion) shizzle-grizzle to a decent nicely cooked patty o' meat that is well worth what is being charged. ( I know they offer other things but if you're coming to Fudd's for a hot dog or a salad you might want to seek professional help.) Our most recent excursion of Memorial Day shockingly wasn't half bad. The place was busier than usual (normally for whatever reason when we come it's crazy dead) but even still the food was ready in under ten minutes, all flavors were working on the Free Style Coke machine (Mmmmm, Orange Sprite) and the liquid-cheese was rearing to go. As much as I've bitched about this place I still like the concept and we'll probably continue to come here in the future. Is it a five star worthy place? No, and it never will be but you could do far worse for the money.

Was bummed when the one by Bass Pro shut down at least until I found this one! Big burger goodness and the super-thorough condiment area is massive enough to create your own adventure with the multitude of fixins' available. The fries are terrific but the onion rings are top-notch. They even have the new-generation drink dispenser starring raspberry Coke, lime Coke. Yep, Fuddruckers is downright awesome.

Good burgers, Clean and relaxing dining area. Friendly staff. Enjoyed a turkey burger with swiss and mushroom for lunch today with my wife. The service was quick, the food was well prepared and presented and the dining area was comfortable. WiFi was available. This is a great place for a burger. Good value for the money.

Extremely welcoming staff even late at night; perfect burgers with yummy fries (even sweet potato). Love the fixins bar. Thick milkshakes.

Burger was good. Flies were everywhere which made me leery of the fix-in area because it was exposed. The booth we sat in needed to be fixed because every time the lady behind slammed down in her seat I was shoved forward into my table which was really annoying while eating. Kid meals get a free cookie voucher to the dessert counter. The desserts look great so I decided to get a brownie for my husband and myself to share, but when reading from the menu board the poor girl looked at me like I was speaking another language when asking for a brownie...for a few moments I thought maybe they don't call brownies brownies in PA. Lower water pressure in the bathroom which maybe why the toilet didn't flush. Also, the hand dryer lasted literally 2 1/2 seconds...I gave up and just dried my hands on my clothes.

The host with the most and the best food! We only get to this location once a year and we are always recognized and welcomed! The food is always delicious! Never ever disappointed!

Basic, but very good food. From grilled chicken to ribeye sandwich to chicken fingers to steak fries and onion rings, everything was great. Our food was ready very quickly, and the folks taking care of us were awesome. One of our daughters had a headache due to too much fun and sun at the park, and the guy bent over backward to get us a bag of ice to help us make her feel better. Overall very positive experience.

Daily homemade buns hold in the juiciest burgers cooked to your desired perfection. Unlimited toppings which seem to be very fresh, and condiments that will cover all choices. If your daring enough try the 1 pounder, if not you still won't be disappointed. My wife prefers the small hotdog on a freshly grilled bun, and my kid devours the grilled cheese kids meal! Don't forget the free cookie with each kids meal, or hands pun shakes for those with a sweet tooth! My only regret is that they don't sell car stickers that say, "Caution, this car brakes for Fuddruckers"!

It's a shame that the two more local Fuddrucker's closed up because they we're run poorly - not the case with this one! The burgers are excellent and the seasoned wedges with a side of cheddar cheese are perfect end after an all-day event at Hershey Park. The service was great and the manager would go out of his way to make our experience there the way my woman and I always remembered the old Fuddrucker's in our areas to be. Make no mistake, if you want great food and staff that cares about you having a good experience, look no further!

Have been to this location two times. Disappointed the first time but thought I would give it another chance about a month ago. I remember Fuddruckers in general when I was a kid and remember it being really good. Maybe I just got older but the quality and freshness just wasn't there. Also the place needed a good scrub down. Everything I touched felt like it had a thin sticky film of grease.

Sadly our state hasn't hosted a Fuddruckers in years. When I saw we would be going by this one, I had to surprise the hubby with lunch there. It was basically as we remembered and that's a good thing. The only thing I was disappointed in is they didn't carry the jalapeno cheese sauce our locations carried. So I got their regular cheese sauce and some jalapenos off of their burger bar and made my own. Problem solved. We'll be back if we ever find ourselves in the area.

I'm not a big burger fan But Fuddrucker's is actually pretty good.... I've only eaten there once but I would definitely go back....Its a great lunch place..family friendly! Lots of kids was there...saw a lot of happy faces ... I like that you can build your own burger...there's like a mini salad bar where you decide what you want to put on your burger...dress it up however you like... There's even different patty sizes..chose your size...tell them how well done you want your burger... then you just have to wait ... Takes no longer then ten minutes... The burger was pretty tender and juicy... I asked for medium rare and they cooked it perfectly... Some places...even high end places sometimes lack timing when it comes to cooking the perfect burger at the right temperature ... it would run you about $20 for 2 people...not too bad at all...there is parking! Friendly staff...and self serve! Enjoy!

We stopped here for dinner during a trip to Hershey Park. Imagine an entire girl scout troop and parents. We had the fortune of receiving high-quality customer service and delicious food for everyone. I'd never been to a Fuddruckers, but I loved it! I loved that the location was incredibly clean. I'm sure it gets quite a bit of traffic due to its location, but you'd never know it from looking around. Also, staff were attentive, but not overbearing. The manager personally checked in with us, which was appreciated. Although it's not likely I'll be back any time soon, this location would definitely get my business gain.

Spent all day at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, basically surviving on snacks here and there. At the end of the day, before the the long ride home, my wife and I got combos and loaded our own half-pound burgers with a side of FuddFries. Oh man, that was so good, I KNOW I coulda eaten a 2/3 lb. burger. Never disappointed at a Fuddruckers. Never!

I used to think that I loved Fuddruckers. However, after visiting a couple of other locations I realized that I love the Fuddruckers in Hershey. This location seems to be well managed and is able to deliver a consistently high quality product. Burgers are almost always delivered to the level requested.

Most Fuddruckers are good most of the time. This one however failed on 12/27/2011. Ordered three burgers all were dry and tasteless. The fries were cold and somehow chewy, truly amazing. We ordered one peanut butter milk shake and it too was awful as if an entire jar of peanut butter were mixed in with a scoop of ice cream. Would have complained while there but judging from the managers behavior he wouldn't have understood. Further a comment filed on the company site went unacknowledged and unanswered; apparently the site is defective too. Unfortunate that the closest Fuddruckers to Harrisburg, since the one in Harrisburg has since closed, is so lacking in quality of food and management.

Not very good, the bun was stale and the burger was, well a burger that is dry. Would not got back.

After a trip to Hershey, it was decided we would stop at Fuddruckers on the way home. It is located very close to the entrance to Hershey Park. We arrived and ordered right away. I had the cajun chicken sandwich and side salad. Chicken sandwich was great, well seasoned and cooked nicely. Others had burgers and fries and all enjoyed their meals. The toppings bar is the best. It has plenty of fresh ingredients and also offers nacho cheese. The restaurant was not very full and it took awhile for our food. The manager noticed we waited quite some time and offered us free cookies when we were leaving.

Great place to eat a Burger. Helpful and nice staff. Laid back and quiet on Tuesday afternoons.

I usually love Fuddruckers however I got the turkey burger and it was cold and raw about 1/3 of the way. I'm not 100% on this but that cannot be entirely safe or healthy and biting into raw cold meat is not something that I enjoy. My husband's burger was the same. I was completely unimpressed. The kiddos liked all of the different things they could pile on their burgers, which I checked and they were cooked thoroughly. I will not go back for the simple reason that when I told the manager I was treated like I was ignorant. I don't mind paying for great food and great service but when its crappy I will call them out on it. I did not ask for a replacement or refund, I was simply letting them know... oh well.

I won't bother talking about Fuddrucker's food. It's a chain, and you know what they serve. I think the burgers are very, very good. Maybe not 'great' burgers, but certainly a big step up from the other chains (TGIF, Applebee's, Chili's, etc.) Buffalo burger was excellent, if you're looking for something new to try. I will say that this one is run particularly well. Food quality was good and service was good, too. Overall a very good experience. If you've only been to the Harrisburg one, I invite you to come and try this one, as it has better food, it's cleaner, and it has better service. If you're in Hershey, and hungry for a burger, this would not be a bad choice.

All of the ingredients are fresh. Crisp lettuce, lots of topping choices (tomato slices, onion, pickles, banana peppers, etc) and they are all fresh and in good shape. They have a kids menu but even the items from the kids menu are sizable and good. Buns are baked fresh onsite... Folks are attentive and friendly. Prices are pretty affordable, very affordable.

Ate at this location on Saturday around lunch time. Our food was extremely hot, and cooked perfectly. The fries were outstanding, my burger was the perfect level of medium and the condiment bar was fresh and full of all of the items! I would definitely go back to this location when visiting again. It was clean and the manager stopped by at our table to make sure everything was going well. Rare at places like that!

We decided to eat outside of The World of Chocolate in Hershey because we thought the prices and quality would be better. That was a mistake in itself. Choosing Fuddrucker's was another. We ordered our burgers, then I headed to the bathroom. Ewwww! Walked right back out. The "silverware" was also dirty. Not a great start. The burgers were ok. Typical Fuddrucker's. Generic, slightly better than fast food. We ate and ran! Red Robin would be a better choice for a burger!

The service here was excellent. Had a large party of 12 and our food was prepared in a timely fashion. The person taking out order was also very patient with our large group. The place was clean and orderly. The food was delicious. Everyone, even the kids, enjoyed their food tremendously. We got everything from their beef burger to their grilled chicken burger, salmon burger, veggie burger and beef hot dog. After eating, everyone was beyond satisfied with their meal in regards to taste and quantity. I had the 1/2 lb Inferno beef burger (well done). I eat beef about once every 4 months as the only meat I usually eat is chicken and fish. However, with all their signs for fresh, never frozen beef, I had to see if it really was as good as it sounded. And it was! You can really taste the difference. The meat had a superior quality in the taste, texture, and flavor. Plus the bread that surrounds the meat is also extremely tasty and soft because it too is fresh! One of the workers, Samba, was also extremely helpful and, more importantly, had a constant smile on his face. He seemed to be happy to help us. Great attitude and that added to the experience. Great job Fuddruckers!

If Satan made burgers, it would be called Fuddruckers. Here's why. Let's just say right away that the burger itself tastes great. For me, it's the burgers, plus all of the OTHER stuff that Fuddruckers offers that makes me think I Beelzebub is running this joint. The rolls...what is it that they put on the rolls? I guess it's butter because when they toast them they turn into something that is like Texas toast, 'cept better. THEN there is the unlimited amound of cheese sauce that you can put on your fries or onion rings...it's in a giant heated vat and you just blob on as much of that orangey goodness as you can stand. Moving on to a delicous 'fixins' bar (ala Roy Rogers from the olden days) with lots of tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pico de gallo, and pickles) so that I can dress up my burger or just eat some veggies so I feel less guilty about the cheese goo. Finally, they have the Coke Freestyle, which offers over 100 flavors of Coke products from a single fountain. I am so glad this place isn't near where I live. Otherwise I'd have be sportin' a 666 on my neck.

I like Fuddruckers but what the fudd was up with this one? I got the Buffalo Burger, Fries and a drink and it cost almost $15. And it was served on a cold, gross wheat roll. I ordered the burger medium and it was charred. Was not impressed.

  • Mike M.

I really don't have anything to complain about, here. The entrance and exits for this place are a little strange. Other than that, nothing major. The burger was done well. Just the way I requested. It came out fast, too. This was my first visit to a Fuddruckers. So the set up was a little odd to me. It is like a sit down restaurant without waiters. You order and pay upon arrival. They give you a drink cup and a buzzer. You get your drinks in this odd soda machine with all sorts of different flavors you can add to your standard brand. You sit down until they buzz you to pick up your food at a diner counter. It is like a tweener restaurant. If there even is such a thing. I loved the burger. I got a 3/4 with provolone. Then you can add whatever you want to it at the condiment bar. They have lettuce, onions, jalapeño, tomato, pickles, and all your standards. On the other side are your standard dispenser machines. They also have melted cheddar that you can put on your fries but this visit it was empty. That gets them a slight demerit. So, biting into this burger was absolute heaven after a day of walking a convention floor. I hadn't eaten most of the day. After eating this burger, I almost felt drunk. It was that good. Maybe not as good as a Zinburger but in the neighborhood. The fries were seasoned and deep fried. They were good and crisp. Much like potato wedges. They have a small selection of domestic and foreign beer but nothing exotic. They didn't have Yeungling Light which gives them a slight demerit from me as they did have standard Yeungling. Who the hell has standard Yeungling and not Light? Anyway, I enjoyed my meal. I would go back here. I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying Fuddruckers. I am not sure if it lives up to the hype but I will hold judgment on that for another visit.

All I have to say is the people here are the nicest people ever! Always asking you if you need anything and what not. We ordered milkshakes, but when we realized we never got called up for them I looked at the receipt and saw they weren't on there. I told a nice man walking around and he made them for us for free! Great customer service. If we didn't live 30 min away I would come all the time!

Minus 1 star for the children running wildly up and down the aisles, making a mess of the condiments and throwing bouncy balls from the gaming machines everywhere, and another loss of a star for the horrible parenting that didn't stop all the aforementioned behavior and the management that didn't step up and ask them to control their offspring. I realize children will be children, but when you allow yours to interfere with my meal by having my table crashed into by the little devil spawn, it goes from mildly amusing to heavily annoying, especially when my drink spills twice. With that hilarity aside... My wife and I swung in here because she saw they are still doing their game meats and wanted to try a wild boar burger. I ordered 6 of their sliders. That way, in case I screwed up and put something on my burger I didn't like, I had 5 other chances for a good toppings selection. It took about 15 minutes for our names to be called. I can't really complain due to the amount of people here for lunch. The condiments were well stocked and looked fresh. The sauces were all filled and the counter (minus the demon spawns mess) was pretty clean. They ran out of fruit punch so I informed the employees and was told it would be taken care of. Unfortunately it wasn't I left the building without ever tasting the red stuff. The wild boar burger was pretty good. Had an interesting flavor to it, it was a very dense meat, not a whole lot of fat. My sliders were basically little squares of hamburger with toasted buns, simple, as most sliders are for the build your own burger concept. I would like to imagine if I came here on another day the rating would be a little better

We did a smart thing and scarfed down burgers before being tossed around on Hershey Park's awesome roller-coasters. (Dry heave sound) You would think that if you've been to one Fuddrucker's, you've been to them all, but I just have to review this place because it stands a head and shoulders above the rest. Similar to the albeit limited experiences I've had at businesses in Hershey, PA, the service here is just fantastic. They took the time to make sure they could pronounce all of our *ethnic* names, our burgers came out in a flash, and to top it off, a friendly server came around in the middle of our meal to ask how it was going. If I'd had cash, I really would've left a tip for these guys. Excellent. As for food, I ordered the lunch special: 1/5 burger w/fries and a drink for just about $6. What a great deal! I know people hate on Fudd's because they're a chain, blah blah blah, but where else can you find a bun that's buttered and grilled? Or potato wedges that you can load with DIY hot cheese? Come on~ You know you love it. This place was impossible for my GPS to find (we ended up at an abandoned building), but with the help of Google 411 and a friendly voice that answered the phone, we were able to find the place with no problem.

Fuddruckers is kind of like the Hometown Buffet of burger places - it's not the greatest quality, but you can't say you didn't leave feeling satisfied. It reminds me of the kind of place where you'd have your birthday party as a little kid, though I can't say I ever attended any such birthdays. We ate at this location after we found out the Philly cheesesteak place we wanted to eat at in Harrisburg was only open at lunchtime. It's right near Hershey Park, and it's one of the few restaurants in this area that doesn't have a drive-thru attached to it. I like the idea of how you get to add your own toppings to your burger once it comes out of the kitchen, so you can put as much or as little lettuce/onions/tomatoes/jalapenos/mayo/etc, as you would like. However, I'm not sure I like the idea that these toppings have just been sitting out here for a long time...you know they can't be that fresh. This particular location was fine and was pretty much the same as every other Fuddruckers i've been to, but I think we felt a little disappointed that we wasted our appetite at a chain place like this when we were on vacation. It did the job though and filled us up enough so that we didn't pig out on chocolate once we got to the Hershey factory. Just as a funny side note, if you try to track this place down using a Garmin GPS, it'll lead you to some random field on a one-lane road about 1/2 mile away from the actual restaurant...we got a pretty good laugh out of that. I'd give this place 2.5 stars, but I'll be generous and round up.

The burgers are delicious. The fries are delicious. The milkshakes are delicious. It's loud. There's kids running around. I went with a group of 14 people on our way to Hershey Park to see the Christmas lights. It was great!

Fuddruckers, Chocolate Avenue!! Each year on our visit to Hershey Park, we have lunch one day at this Fuddruckers. It is absolutely great! The employees are friendly and helpful, and go beyond the call of duty. The food is alway to die for! My son usually gets the Ostrich Burger, but it was not in season at the moment, so he got the Wild Boar Burger..he loved it..he said it was perfectly cooked! I got the crispy fish sandwich and it was wonderful. i also had the Napa Valley Salad without the chicken (i am a vegetarian) .the fixins bar is clean and beautiful..fat juicy red tomatoe slices, leafy crisp green lettuce, crispy white onion slices, perfect pickles and more!! Our food is always great! The one thing we did not like or appreciate on this trip was the Managers treatement of his employees..he had little patience with them when they asked questions on the customers behalf, and seemed gruff towards them..all the while being phoney nice to the customers in the dining area..but go for the amazing food, and the accomodating employees..you will love it!!

Of all of the national chain burger places, Fuddrucker's has by far the best burgers. They are always cooked just right, and are plenty big enough. If you are in the Hershey area, and are craving a burger, I would definitely recommend heading to Fuddrucker's.

It's a chain. It has burgers made out of exotic meats. The music was too abhorrent. The person who announced their burgers were ready to be picked up was obnoxiously sickeningly sugary sweet and shrill every 2 minutes. Otherwise fine.

My wife and I eat here frequently and only once did we get a burger that did not seem to taste as good as usual. Not a bad record. We only ever eat hamburgers there, so can't rate the other food. We love the fries which are tasty (streak fries). The restaurant is kept clean and runs smoothly with the help of the current top notch manager named Samba. He'll visit you likely at your table. They also have great brownies but we are usually too full to eat one at every visit. I also like their buns which are made there fresh (you can buy them). They are soft and somewhat buttery. You can get Buffalo and Elk burgers there. Service has always been very fast, seems almost too fast. They also serve beer in bottles, which is actually cheaper than getting a soda (but you can refill those). Most of the time it feels too chilly in there so you may need a jacket. It is basically a fast food joint. The toppings bar is fresh and well stocked always. I try not to be biased in any of my reviews but can say this is a consistent restaurant with decent food, clean atmosphere, and good service. Many Fuddruckers are known for poor service (and have thus gone out of business) but not this one exception.

I would like to imagine if I came here on another day the rating would be a little better

The burgers are delicious. The fries are delicious. The milkshakes are delicious. It's loud. There's kids running around. I went with a group of 14 people on our way to Hershey Park to see the Christmas lights. It was great!

Enjoy!

Prices are pretty affordable, very affordable.

kind of an odd set up, you walk in and place your order and then seat your self and wait for food to be ready and then go pick it up at the window. my burger was very good and awesome fries. my wifes buffalo burger was very gamey tasking. her and I had lots of buffalo and this was the most gamiest tasting, edible but would not get it again..

Of all of the national chain burger places, Fuddrucker's has by far the best burgers. They are always cooked just right, and are plenty big enough. If you are in the Hershey area, and are craving a burger, I would definitely recommend heading to Fuddrucker's.

  • Jesse B.

It's a chain. It has burgers made out of exotic meats. The music was too abhorrent. The person who announced their burgers were ready to be picked up was obnoxiously sickeningly sugary sweet and shrill every 2 minutes. Otherwise fine.

  • Mark J.
