Came here with a party of nine, including kids and every one of us had a great meal! High quality food at a good price right along the Lackawaxen River. Only thing I was bummed about was that the sports mobile shop next door was closed. If I come back to Lake Wallenpaupak, which I hope I do, I'm definitely coming back.

We have been enjoying Rusty's Riverside since it opened. The service is with a smile and the food is consistently good. Best crab macaroni and cheese, calamari and salads. Ask for daily specials and when you're finished, take a look at the hundreds of motorcycles, ATV s and snow mobiles. Don't forget to check out the Koi pond as well.

I've been there several times for lunch & a couple of times for dinner. They have the best burgers in town! Food is excellent but a bit pricy. I have never had a bad meal there. The staff is friendly & courtious! The place is spotless & is usually very quiet. Always great service!

Considering it is by far the most comfortable place in Honesdale to have a meal, it's a shame that the meal portion of the equation doesn't deliver. The food is diner good, but the service is godawful - nervously friendly, but slower than the area's tranquil pace.

I love this restaurant. I work close by and eat here about 3 times a week. I eat at the Riverview most often because they mix their specials up on a regular basis and I can always try something new. It is also nice that I never have to worry about these new dishes being mediocre because I have never had a bad meal. Most often I get my meals to go because, as I said, I work right down the road. However, when I am looking for a nice dinner out I go here with my family and friends. The restaurant is so beautiful and yet very cozy. It is also spotless! The attention to detail is amazing. I will see you there! :P

Passing by Rusty Palmer's dealership in Honesdale this afternoon we noted the sign "Restaurant Open"... so, we figured we would stop-in and give it a try for lunch. It's right inside the dealership and aptly called "The Riverview Restaurant at Rusty's." The restaurant is somewhat spartan in terms of decor, yet very spacious with huge 6-person booths and quite comfortable. The service was not highly-experienced, but very warm, attentive, and acomodating. The food was very good. I started with the Garlic Farfalle soup which was piping hot, crisp, and flavorful. Then, I went with the Rusty Burger which was sensational... tasty beef (~8-ounces) perfectly cooked medium with havarti, bacon and mushrooms, and I opted for the onion ring upgrade... all very good! My better half chose the Turkey Ruben. Also very tasty, with the only comment we shared with our waitress being it might be a little light on the turkey for a larger appetite. She was very interested in our feedback... a very good thing! Lastly, the coffee was excellent. I usually drink it black, so there is nowhere to hide. we looked at both the breakfast and dinner menus while we waited to be served, and look forward to returning sometime soon. Stop in and check it out... very nice addition to the Rt. 6 strip on the Hawley-side of Honesdale!

After several visits; food is decent here, not anything spectacular. Service during my last visit was awful. Sat outside and there was one waitress. Very slow. I'd give it a 2 1/2 if I could.

Awesome view , so very clean , nice hostess and a very helpful waitress! The lunch special of a cheesesteak hoagie was fabulous!!! And the view of all the boats and quads was a thrill for all of us!!! A definite place to go!!!!

What a waste of time and money. We showed up and sat ourselves (no problem). Waited about 10-15 min for a waitress to come to the table. Took 20 min for someone to bring us our drinks, then another 20 minutes to get 1 menu for 3 people. After we ordered we waited about 15 more minutes for them to bring 2 of us salad. Never brought any bread or asked if we would like bread. When they brought the salad we asked for another round of drinks. Well that took again another 15 minutes. We noticed another table of 4 got up and left after waitng at least 20 min for some service which they never got. After sitting waiting for our dinner for an hour I decided to get us and find a manager. I could locate no one and asked the bartender if I could speak to one. He asked what the problem was. I told him and his response was "Oh, sorry" and went back to his conversation with someone at the bar. 20 minutes later our dinner arrived. The food was barely warm and tasteless. As we were eating the 3 tables that we noticed were not bussed when we came it STILL have not been cleared away. Maybe Rusty should have spent more money on a good chef and hired some real waitsatff or at least train them to be proper waitstaff. Better yet he should just stick to selling ATV's, Skee Doo's etc.. If they keep treating customers like this I give the place a year if lucky. Wake up Rusty!!! Give you customers what they came for. Good Food & Good Service.

Great food & beautiful woodwork, weird combination I know, but we enjoy this place! We have had lunch and dinner and each time it has been good food and service. Clean restaurant, check out the bathrooms - Vegas quality - they are beautiful!

This restaurant is inside a recreational boat/atv/motorcycle dealership. Odd location but you do get a view of the river if you sit in one of the roomy booths. Clean but sparse in decor. Menu is good and burgers are the known specialty. The staff was friendly but the kitchen clearly had issues. My wedge salad came out with many brown & wilted spots that I had to cut off. My moms side salad also had wilted lettuce. Especially disappointing since we arrived early in the dinner shift. My aunts burger was ordered mid rare and came half mid rare and half mid well. Not sure how they managed that. My uncles burger was perfect. My crab Mac & cheeses was delicious. I really recommend this. The Boston cheesecake was pretty good. Credit to them for giving us free dessert to make up for the salads. Then the check came with an entire extra tables worth of food on it, and they overcharged for my salad! Apparently another waitress mixed up the tables and added her tables food to our tab. Overall the place seems to mean well but needs some serious polish before it catches it's stride
