Perfect pit stop on a long road trip in a very nice town. We were passing through and followed the Yelp advice, and had no regrets. Fast kind homey but not intrusive service. Very tasty food. (We went for sandwiches instead of pizza). Easy street parking right in front. It is a great way to get started antiquing in Hamburg, and good enough to get you wondering why you don't just live in a great town like this instead of driving from city to city!

Absolutely delish! Got the meatball sub and ate every bit (even at its huge size)! Amazing flavor. My momma got the Italian sub and I took a bite (or two haha) and said this was the sub she's been craving! Thanks for the delish meal!!

Figured I would write a review now that I live on the other side of the country. Anyway I lived around the corner from this spot while in grad school and used to order from here once every couple weeks or so. I keep it simple. Plain pie or plain Sicilian; no need for all those toppings to take away from the pizza. Anyway the crust is spot on, the sauce is delish, and you usually always get extra cheese and the non extra cheese price. It's a family business, very polite, tony is the man

Excellent subs and cheesy garlic bread! We shared the Italian and the meatball subs and garlic bread! I wish that I hadn't shared though because they were so delicious that I wanted them all to myself. Quick road trip stop that couldn't have been better!

I ordered a chicken "CEASAR SALAD" today and it had ice burg lettuce NOT ROMANE LETTUCE! I called to see if this was a mistake. Nope! This is how they make their Caesar salad. Is it a big deal... yes it is. The main ingredient in a Caesar salad is Romaine Lettuce. I didn't even get any croutons! This hinders me from ordering anything else from here again.

Great little pizza shop we found on our drive back from Indy making a quick stop for food. They were super nice and food was delicious. Def coming back if we ever end up back in Pennsylvania!!

Food is really good especially their pizza and cheesesteaks! Prices are average and portions are on the larger side. Only gripe - $10 minimum on credit cards

Stopped in for a pie with friends. $10.50. For a large pie is a deal and it was tasty.

We stopped here for lunch on a road trip up highway 78. We were driving from Atlanta to NY and we tried to find local spots to eat. The reviews said Russo's had great pizza and cheesesteaks and having lived in the northeast and eaten our share of great pizza we were curious. I can honestly say the pizza was delicious!!! Some of the best I've had. My husband had the cheesesteak and loved it, the bread was incredible. I also ordered the veggie Stromboli and it was huge! I could only eat half but it was great. Perfect combo of veggies and cheese and the sauce is good too. The owners are friendly and the restaurant is clean and cozy. If you are a local you probably know how great this place is, and if you are just passing through do yourself a favor and stop in here.

Excellent for the area, not much variety other than fast food. The cheesesteak is really very well prepared, the penne with vodka sauce was enjoyed by my kids. It is a family run restaurant. If you stop in Cabelas it's worth the 2 mile drive for real food. Pizza is ok, the food is a real treat compared to everything else available in the area. This restaurant is def a must on the Cabelas monthly trips. The owner stated he shops in Brooklyn often for the restaurant, and it shows

I may be eating the best cheesesteak ever here. The chicken is flavorful and juicy and I have to believe the bread is made on premises. It's topped with just the right amount of sauce and I'm loving it! I ordered Pierogies to go to meet the $10 credit card minimum but can't promise I'll have the self control to hold off eating until I get back to Jersey. Russo's makes for a great lunch or dinner stop while strolling this town.

A couple friends and I were passing through Hamburg and stopped here at random. What a great place! We all got subs and they make their own bread which was delicious. We were getting food to go but the pizza they had looked tempting. I've been thinking of excuses to stop through Hamburg again but don't live anywhere nearby.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
