If you go to a place called a sports lounge and you expect anything fancy or gourmet, you're going to be pretty disappointed. However, if you go for wings, especially on Wing Night, you'll have a great time. On Mondays and Tuesdays, wings are 50 cents each (ordered in multiples of five, as long as you order something else-- beer counts). They cook their wings perfectly and have a good variety of sauces. I'm partial to sweet n hot, but hear the barbecue and Cajun are quite good too. I've had a few other bar food items-- jalapeño poppers, that sort of thing-- and everything has been exactly what you'd expect. They have a good variety of beer: nothing super fancy, but still a nice selection, and reasonably priced. Plus, FREE popcorn that's reminiscent of movie theater popcorn. Sure, it's a little loud, and there's TVs everywhere, and just about everything is fried, but sometimes, that's what you're looking for, and then Dino's is the right place.

Staple of the western PA wing tour. Good sports bar that had expanded from the Latrobe building. Many Many Tvs are on the wall and if you are trying to find a sporting event to watch, you will find one here. You can't go wrong with any of their bar food. Wings are awesome. Sandwhiches are large and tasty. The hidden item that you need to get is the Wing Pizza.

I'm not a big fried food kind of person but I have to hand it to Dino's for frying things up "right". The sampler appetizer included chicken wings, french fries, fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, and onion rings. Total heaping pile of sports bar bliss. Perfect for 2 to 3 folks to share as a meal. I especially enjoyed the naked wings. Note to those trying to be healthy at Dino's - good luck. The spinach salad is topped with a whole chicken breast, french fries and literally what appeared to be a pack of bacon. I imagine they could make alterations. Popcorn comes out to the table complimentary and the environment is as stereotypically "manly" as it gets. Think TVs on every wall, waitresses in short shorts and a menu that is heavy on meats and fried anything.

Stopped here before hitting Steeler Training Camp. We enjoyed wings and chippers. We tryed the a variety of flavors like tradtional hot, Slicker and Sweet & Hot. S&H were my favorite, but all were good. The buffalo burger was also enjoyed. I ordered the wings extra crispy and they were cooked perfectly. The chippers needed some seasoning though. They were cooked well, but lacked flavor. They were saved by using the blue cheese with the wings as a dipper. All was well. Service was friendly and efficient. A stop by is well deserved.

A sports bar scene that has lots of TVs and cheap decor. We got seated pretty quickly but the server took about 5 min to get our drink order. They bring you complimentary popcorn, and I thought "I like to eat popcorn at the movies not before my dinner." The food came out very quickly (great right). No. Fries were sub-par but the wings were almost warm and the sauce was overwhelming. They basically tasted like they were sitting underneath heat lamps for an hour until we ordered them. Not sure what to recommend now. Very disappointed in the service and the food. It didn't help that the server came back once and just forgot about us for 20 min. We asked for the check and the hostess brought it (very odd). I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Decent place to go for wings but they have a lot of other options too. This time I tried a quesadilla with cheese and wing sauce of choice. It was huge and was pretty good but the wing sauce was not evenly spread throughout.

First off, I'd like to say this place was a long ways off from where I live, but it was well worth it. I thought the complimentary bowl of popcorn was great, mostly because it eliminates the need to order any appetizers. For dinner, I ordered ribs and shrimp, and it was awesome. The ribs were cooked perfectly, the meat easily slid off the bone, and they were just delicious. The five-star rating may be a bit much, but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I'm a local and go to both locations a lot. The wings are great and the fish sandwich is pretty good. Never ever a beer special which is disheartening. The atmosphere is very nice for watching the big game. If you don't like wings or fish sandwiches eat elsewhere in Latrobe and Greensburg. This may be the only bar/restaurant in town that doesn't have beer specials...ever.

My favorite place to go to on a Thursday. One pound snow crab legs for 9.95 Eat your heart out

Went here with my husband. I have never been here before so I have nothing to compare to years ago. I got the quesadilla Burger which I thought would be like Applebees with the burger in the quesadilla, but I was wrong.... the burger is in between 2 quesadilla. It was still good,... but very filling and I took alot home. Overall it was good... we would go back.... interesting but way too many options.

My stop in here was just to grab a couple beers while watching some football and catching up with my significant other. It got the job done for that, but isn't a place I would go out of the way to go back to. We got in around 9:30 on a Saturday night, and were able to grab a couple seats at the bar, but it was pretty full. The bartender came to take our order and brought out some popcorn. It was just standard popcorn, but it was nice to have something to munch on with our beers since we weren't hungry enough to want to actually order any food. We asked for a beer list, but apparently they don't have them, nor do they have a board or anything that can be consulted about the options. We were just told to try to look at the taps on the other side of the bar to figure it out. After we got all of the selections deciphered, we were very disappointed in the selections. There was nothing special at all in the dozen and a half options on tap. It looks like they have quite a few bottle options, but after having to asking numerous times about the ones on draft, I wasn't going to even try to figure out what they had in the fridge. We settled for the only few options that weren't just light domestics, although they were still just your everyday mass produced stuff. I don't know a lot about this area, but there has to be some decent local craft beers coming from somewhere around there that they can offer their customers. The bartender was also pretty disappointing that night. Starting with being no help when we asked what they had on tap, that trend pretty much continued. Unless she was filling up somebody's glass after they emptied it, she was just in the corner of the bar talking to her group of friends who was there the entire time. We got the bare minimum service that we needed to get a couple drinks, but that was the extent of it. This did looked like a good place to come get some tasty fried food, and the menu had plenty of options that aren't going to show up on a weight watchers plan anytime soon. It's also a great place to come watch some sports. They have TVs all over, and it's definitely a sports themed restaurant. They have a really neat electronic stock ticker type thing setup in the bar area that scrolls across sports scores, news, and even betting lines, but unfortunately a decent chunk of the screen was out so it was kind of difficult to read. If you are looking for some bar food and sports, this place will probably satisfy your cravings. If you prefer to drink some good beers and have good service while doing so, this probably shouldn't be very high on your list.

DROOL. If you're looking for bar food and watching tons of games on tv this is the place. They have a huge food menu and I havnt had anything I don't like. The sweet hot wings are my fav! Free popcorn when you sit.

Dino's is a neat place. The food is good. I go there at least once a month for there sweet and hot wings which are the best. The biggest issue I have with this place is how loud it can get inside.

  • Lidia B.

The sign up front told us to sit wherever. We sat in the only booth available which still had remnants of its previous guest. I didn't wanna be rude but I thought the server would wipe it down. I didn't wanna complain so I let it go. We ordered pizza and wings. The wings were great (as always) but their pizza was awful... I felt like they dumped a can of sauce on top of over-proofed dough.. maybe the sandwiches are good but I would never get the pizza again....

Visited on a recent Sunday evening. Heard about the wings and placed an order. To our great surprise, the wings appeared within two to three minutes. It was obvious that they had not been cooked to order. Lukewarm temperature. When asked, the waitress and later the manager mentioned that the wings are "rolled over" or in other words, cooked up and left under a heat lamp for the next order. As a food inspector, this can be quite dangerous for food borne illness, especially when the establishment is not busy. Don't go.

    (1)
  • Pam H.

Went there on a Sunday evening and it was packed. The food was cheap and tasted OK. Lots of grease. About the commrnts from the person who got sick- foodborne illness symptoms generally start at least 24and often 48 hrs after the meal. Ie your ilness, if food-related, was due to a meall eaten somewhere else

Wing night. Wings came out quick. I find that every time I go there the wing sauce flavor is not always consistent. Starting to consider getting it on side. Other than that things were good. Fast service. Great waitress.

I grew up in this area. This is the place to come for wings in the region. The Latrobe location is the original but both owned by the same person.

Not a bad sports bar. Really quick service, Even though the place was packed for wing night (Monday). Wings were ok, could have been crispier for my taste. The hot buffalo sauce is not bad, nice amount of heat. Definitely franks red hot based. Sauce is very thin, so it's also very messy! Grilled chicken salad was good. Could have done without the tortilla bowl, it just broke apart and got soggy from the dressing. Veges were fresh and tasty. Beer was ice cold. Cost was average. I travel a ton for work, not the best wings I've ever had, but definitely a good stop

  • Tyson H.

The food is just ok and both times I've been here the bar tender and a waitress on that side were kind of rude once they realized they couldn't up sell me a bunch of stuff to make my tab larger. I always tip well, no need to blow up my bill. They do have a bunch of tv's and a good crowd for the Pens games though. A waitress who was working the other tables was extra friendly, too... so maybe I was just unlucky with the staff.

I didn't think my first experience at Dino's could be topped but tonight I was proved wrong! Leah and Nicole held it down behind the bar, catering to each customer's need in a timely, professional manner. Recommendations about wings were spot-on. One manager on duty in particular stood out, as he ensured that everyone was enjoying him/herself. Kudos, Jake, and thanks! I'll definitely be back before the week is through!

It has been about 11 check-ins here since my last review, and I just wanted to update and say it is still fantastic. Dino's is still my favorite local place to go if I am looking for wings or bar food or if I am just looking to go somewhere fun with friends to eat and watch a game. This past weekend, my family and I came here and ordered all kinds of food to satisfy us while watching the Backyard Brawl: Onion Petals: Amazing bits of fried onions. They were so addicting, and there were so many. Chicken Nachos: These were great too. A plate full of nachos with sour cream, chicken, and buffalo sauce... what's not to love? Thin-Crust Pizza: Really thin crust on this. It was basically like eating it off a cracker. It was very different and very good. Wings: Gotta order the Dino's wings no matter what. They are always delicious, and every flavor of sauce is great. Reuben Dog: This was the icing on the cake for me. I had been wanting to order this thing for a while, but I always go with the wings, but tonight I got both. WOW it was good. The sauerkraut and thousand island are what made it so good. My parents also got sandwiches. My mom enjoyed her Italian Stallion, and she of course let me have a bite. I thought it was good too. And, my dad's burger was tasty too. I do not think I have ever had an item on their menu I haven't liked. Amazing This is the place to go if you are trying to eat some good food, watch a couple games, and just hang out with your friends. You cannot beat the atmosphere of this place with their many many HDTVs. Oh yeah, did I mention they have the nicest waitresses in the area? You guys know what I mean by nicest. Go to Dino's. You'll love it.

This place is awesome. They have the best wings in Pittsburgh, or best wings near Pittsburgh since they are way out in Greensburg. This place has a kind of cheesy Red Robin meets boxing centric sports bar kind of feel. I can't really speak to their entire menu but the wings are awesome. These are not the small physically abused orphan chicken wings but the larger born with a silver spoon in their mouth kind of chickens. The wings are huge! Two or three good size bites on one drum. The sause is really good as well coming in several flavors and they have popcorn that you can snack on between batches of Wings. Monday and Tuesday is wings night with discounted wings and we usually order them in batches of 6 so you can get hot wings gradually and in different flavors. If wings is what you seek this place is worth the drive from Pittsburgh.

I frequent this place often-- sometimes with a large group-- & the food always comes out quickly. I'm a huge fan of the wings & the nugget appetizer. The garlic parmesean sauce is my favorite! Every time we visit the staff is always friendly.

Best wings I've had and im a picky either. They also have a large menu of pizza, salads, ribs, appetizers, hoagies, burgers and more. The service is usually friendly and the food is always excellent and comes out fast. They have Wing night on Mon and Tues which is 50 cent wings when u buy a soft drink, beer, or side item with them. Going any other time is very reasonably priced as well.

Service is lacking, but it's a good place to have a beer and watch the game. The wings are very good, and on Thursdays they have a crab leg special.

Wings were ok. Sat at bar, arrogant bar tender. I tried the place but I won't be back.

Wings are great! The beer selection (especially draft) is nice. The service is not always friendly. I typically only go on wing nights, but have had other items off the menu that are okay.

Dino's gets five stars from me simply because of their Wing Night and wing flavors. I used to travel 15 minutes to the Dino's in Latrobe, but when this one was put in simply a minute up the road, I decided to give it a try. The food, atmosphere, and service is all the same as the one in Latrobe, and if anyone tells you differently, they're lying! Very rarely do I order actual "food" from Dino's... I always get the wings. My faves are the sweet-hot (more sweet than hot!) and the honey mustard wings. Dino's gives you free popcorn before your meal comes, which is awesome. The only knock I can give the place is on its setup. It looks like a jumble of tables and chairs thrown together in the middle of a restaurant. I prefer to sit in a booth. Lots of TVs make this a premier place to be on gameday!

Loved it! Great wings, fried green beans, good service, cute girls, lots of TVS for the game, right next to Hampton- ate there 3 nights in a row just because I was to lazy to look for something else. Beer comes to you in 2 minutes, wings are out in 3 minutes. Best wings I've had in the SE Pitt area. Thanks Dino's !!! Will be back. .. Tip.. eat in the bar cave- not at a table out front...

Hella good wings. I can't even remember the kind I had but I nommed on them like a muf*cka. Beer selection was great. Place was hidden right next to my hotel on a business trip. Great little find.

Pretty standard pizza and burger place. The wings weren't what I would consider to be the best in PA, but decent. The chicken parm sandwich was pretty good though. All in all, not bad if your nearby and want something quick and relatively cheap. The staff may want to reconsider the use of tanning beds, they were sort of... orange. But I digress..

Best wings we have ever had. We loved the sweet and hot. The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly. We were here on a Saturday night and had no problem with seating or service. We will definitely would be since our daughter goes to Seton Hill

Best wings I've ever had, hands down. The sweet and hot are amazing. I hit this place up at least twice when I come back home to visit. Also - the boneless wing salads are awesome.

I have been back to the Greensburg Dinos a couple of times now and have taken off my list of places to eat. It is SUPER LOUD inside and you can't even hear yourself think.

Been going to the Dino's in Latrobe since it opened. The menu in Greensburg is a duplicate of the one in Latrobe. The food is just as great. The only difference I noted was that the Super Lewis Wings weren't as hot as the Super Lewis in Latrobe. Lots of TVs so a great place for us sports fans.

On returning to Dino's shortly after writing my previous review (based on experiences from some time ago), I had a completely different experience. As I contemplate what I'm going order, several people at my table proceed to tell me that the wings have been not so great here in recent years. In fact, it has made some mutual friends of ours quite sick a number of times. I laughed it off, thinking I have some kind of iron stomach, and get the classic hot wings that I had my heart set on. Everyone else orders something else on the menu. I thought they were okay, but definitely not as crisp and tasty as I remembered. After being home for about half an hour, my digestive system was figuratively screaming at me. I spent most of the rest of my evening in the bathroom. And that was no fun at all. Rule number one for any restaurant? DON'T MAKE FOOD THAT MAKES PEOPLE SICK. I would take off all the stars, but the service was speedy. My death-dealing chicken wings were delivered to me in record time. -.-

OMG this place was a real find. Love the food and you get a huge portion for the money. Would go again soooooooo good. My whole family loves it.

A pile of chips with cheese whiz, and 1/2 a chicken tender cut up constitutes a chicken nacho platter for $10??? Cold wings (sauce was tasty though)?? $10 for a salad that fits in a standard salad bowl with limp lettuce? Waitress doesn't know the menu?? Buck up Dino's you are about to lose a very consistent patron to your recent fall from grace....

  • Deborah N.

I go here often with family and friends, but this is the first time I have submitted a review. I am giving Dino's (in Greensburg) 3 stars but it is for the food only. The service here is erratic to say the least. Sometimes the service is wonderful and the next time, it is terrible. I have been here when the place is packed and had very good service and great food. Tonight, the place was not busy and our server was disinterested and apathetic. The food order arrived quickly but we waited 15 minutes for refills on drinks and to ask for another mixed drink. After finishing our meal, it was 10 minutes before she came back to see if we needed anything else. We asked for our check and it was another 10 minutes until she brought it to the table. During this time she stood at the end of the bar and talked to another server. We will return for the food and get the luck of the draw for the service.

  • Scott P.

Overall good experience. The waitress came over right away with popcorn and took our drink order. We ordered wings as an appetizer. They don't do different sauces for a single order, which I didn't like. I like variety and my girlfriend doesn't like things as spicy as I do. The menu states they charge you for ranch and blue cheese, which I thought was ridiculous. I didn't say anything and we did not get charged on our bill. Food was good, I got the Western burger which was good size and the onion rings were huge. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back.
