The pizza is pretty decent. There probably are better places in the area to get a slice. But the other food is much more noteworthy. Cheesesteaks (with the works) are awesome, the MEGA FRIES are fantastic and will leave your heart equally filled with plaque and love. AND the wings are great. They also deliver, which will coincide nicely with your caloric surplus. This is a fantastic pig out place and deserves to be noted as MUCH more than just a pizza place.

Pizza is very good, if perhaps a bit greasy. Love the chicken cheese steaks and the garlic knots. Have always eaten takeout.

The pizza is awesome and their dinners are out of this world. I haven't eaten anything that wasn't outstanding... I strongly recommend it.

We decided to give this place a try and it was a major disappointment. The person who took our order said it would be 40minutes which wasn't a problem since that's pretty standard. 20 minutes after we ordered the food arrived. When I answered the door I was greeted with hostility from the delivery person saying he had been outside for 10 minutes and that we had costed him 3 deliveries. I apologized and didn't realize he was here for that long. He was extremely rude and thought that giving a small 4'10" girl attitude was the way to go. I apologized and gave him a more than gracious tip considering the attitude he gave me. The cherry on top was that our order was wrong. The "pizza burger" we ordered was just a bun and thin burger patty with a slice of cheese. I'm not sure what constitutes that a pizza burger. I had ordered a hoagie with mayo on the side but of course they dowsed the bun in mayo, it was pretty gross. The mozzarella sticks were too hot when they placed them in the styrofoam container, so the styrofoam melted around the food. I'm not sure that's very safe to eat. The slices of plain pizza we ordered were very thin, hard, and loaded with garlic salt. Do yourselves a favor and order from Mr P's or Tony's Pizza City.

Ordered a pizza (half veggie half cheese) and plain steak sandwich today. The pizza: veggie was bland as a mutha - no seasoning or taste, but the cheese side was very tasty. My brother ordered the steak and i swear to you, i don't know what kind of meat that was but it wasn't beef. He took about two bites and said "this steak does not taste right". I then took a bite and spit it out immediately because the the consistency of the meat was like nothing I had ever tasted. THAT WAS NOT BEEF! Needless to say, we will not be ordering from Luigi's again. I told my brother to take it back but he chose to just throw it away. Maybe I should take it to a lab and find out what the hell it was that was being passed off as beef. NASTY!

This is a tiny place without a parking lot, but there was a spot on the street. They are friendly inside and there is a TV to watch while you wait, which wasn't long, actually. Good cheesesteaks and very nice, large Italian sandwiches with plenty of meat and a good variety of toppings. Also got delivery from here, they said forty minutes but it only took them about 15-20 to deliver a couple of miles away. Recommend, although its takeout/delivery only.

We had an issue with our order tonight. Since we ordered online we had received an email from the owners account with a receipt so we emailed the owner. He responded promptly explaining what had happened and apologized. He also refunded our order and told us to come in for another try on the house. Great customer service. Lou definitely deserves your business.

I ordered pizza and wings from Luigi's. The pizza was fairly good, but what really ruined the meal is that Luigi's does not pluck the hair from the chicken. This is really unacceptable.

We live locally and order from here about once every 1-2 weeks. Even though there is plenty of competition in the area, I think Luigi's has been consistently the best of the bunch. A good proper unsoggy crust and tasty sauce will do that. Their sandwiches and wings are also well made and delicious. Portions are generous and the people who work there are friendly and competent. What more could you want from your neighborhood pizza joint?

the area around north hills/glenside has a plethora of good pizza places, but I think luigi's is the best. The crust is near perfect and the sauce on the pie is my favorite around. it is tangy but balanced. Pizza Box is good, but i think it is overrated. They dont concentrate on enough.

My husband and I have a think for Sicilian pizza. We recently tried it out at Luigi's and were pleasantly surprised. The sauce was really flavorful and the crust was nice and crispy. Order it with garlic as a topping and you won't regret it!

I have been eating at Luigi's since he opened many years ago. I also try pizza in my travels local and abroad. The pizza at Luigi's is the best because of the sauce, the crust and the blend of cheeses. The garlic knots are to die for and everything is very reasonably priced. Great food and great value! If I lived closer I would get eat from there more often!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
