Again, so nice to have a small family run business nearby. I'm new to Gilbertsville. Born and bred in East Flatbush Brooklyn NY and recommend Marco's over any other Italian place around here. The food tastes like my home made food. Food is fresh, generous portions, authentic and unique combos. The gnocchi was amazing with grape tomatoes and cheese. Excellent! So if you are looking for a place to go where you feel like you are 'home' try Marcos. Thanks to the Marco family for supporting our local community.

Meh. They charged me $2 for extra cheese on a $6 sandwich and when I went to eat said sandwich, there was barely any cheese on it, let alone "extra". I will take my business to Little Gio's from now on, sorry.

Went in for lunch. No prices listed anywhere for single slices, so I probably overpaid for a slice of cheese and what they considered to be Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. Have no idea how much all of it cost, until I was rung up. Chicken was a little chewy, and they didn't even bother to heat that slice up before throwing it in the box, since "they just made it". Cheese pizza was good, but nothing overly spectacular. One bright side is that they accepted credit cards, without much of a fuss. Used to require a $10 purchase, according to a co-worker who used to frequent, which is ILLEGAL. Must've gotten their hand slapped by Visa.

Big disappointment last week. Stopped in with the family, and not only noticed they were a byob but that they were giving complimentary beer and wine to customers. Cool, right? Well...not really. I asked our waitress what that was about when she asked what we wanted for our drinks. "Depends what you order." Okayyyy. That pretty much tells me nothing. I went with a soft drink. We opted to start with the fresh mozzarella and peppers with olive oil, and balsamic. It was dropped off promptly but with no bread. Waitress never checked back in to ask if it came out ok. Btw - the cheese, and oil were good but the peppers were bad. They were actually fermenting with co2 bubbles zinging with tart acid. My wife asked me if I thought the peppers were bad, and she beat me to the punch because I was thinking it. We left them on the plate. A different runner brought out the pizza with refills on our drinks, and asked if they could take the untouched peppers but they never once asked how they were, or asked why we didn't eat them. The pizza was ok. Not the best but not terrible either. Waitress dropped off the check, and told us to pay up front. Girl was too involved in a personal conversation to ask how everything was, or if the meal was ok. Uggghh. It's the little things that make you come back...or not.

Yummy pizza. The fries are awesome. I also like that they make the bread on-site daily. It's delicious. The wraps are also really good. Great food, great people. Sal, one of the owners, is the best!

Just a couple things to consider: 1. Delivery is usually running late 2. after our meal has been delivered, the pizza, fries etc have turned so rubbery/almost cardboard like taste and luke warm at best. *disappointed in the delivering of meals from Marco's sadly. *Also: The chicken fingers.... where's the meat? They are so flat -flavor/not bad but for the money, just not worth it. 3. We do however, love eating- in at Marco's- DEFINITELY fresher, fasters, hot items, friendly staff/server! Way to go on this one! My only "beef" is with the delivery of items. Step it up a bit in that area because you have many competitors around here and opening soon in our area and we'd like to continue biz with you, but the delivery thus far has been suffering too much. Thanks for listening!

Marco's Pizza just opened up a few months ago where Palumbo's used to be. There are already well over a dozen pizza shops within a 5 minute radius of Marco's, so to stand out you've got to be really good. Marco's really excels at two things; pizza and service. We've ordered takeout from Marco's a couple of times and ate in for the first time this past week. The pizza is the best I've had of any shops in the area and when you dine in the staff is very friendly and attentive. Their cheese steaks are also very good. Why only 4 stars? When we dined in this past week I ordered Lasagna and it was really pretty sad. When the Lasagna came out it was a runny, flat mess on the plate, which I can deal with - I don't need my Lasagna to be a perfect 10 layer stack so long as it tastes good. However, aside from it not looking that visually appealing it had little flavor and consisted almost entirely of noodles, sauce and cheese! I'm sure that the fact that there was almost no meat to speak of didn't help the taste but even so the sauce was pretty flat tasting. It tasted like they took some cooked noodles, threw a little bit of boiled beef in between and covered it with a barely seasoned sauce and cheese. It was the weakest Lasagna I've had in a long time. The interior of the restaurant has the classic Italian bistro motif going on. They pipe authentic Italian tunes through the speakers in the dining area, which I think is kind of neat. At some point I'm going to try another platter from Marco's to see if it's better than the Lasagna. For now though, it's still a great place to get some really awesome pizza, great cheese steaks and friendly service.

This place is awesome! Pizza is delicious, something about the great sauce. Mozz cheese fries, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes ...all worth trying. The staff is really friendly. They always have a variety of premade specialty pizzas if you want to try something new and different. Oh yea the Grandma slices are sooo good, they have pesto and loveliness. Def worth trying. Coupons can be found in local circular magazines. They are always happy to take coupons!
