I eat at or order from wingers at least once a week. My staple items are: Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak (with ranch instead of blue cheese & extra cheese) Cheeseburger / Straight cut fries Italian Meats Stromboli Broasted Chicken My wife usually splits my items with me and gets the ribs, straight cut fries or Turkey Club. I've been coming to wingers for years now and the food quality improved drastically since the new ownership took over.

Overall a very nice place! Looked clean on the inside, friendly staff and great food. I had a tuna salad wrap, splendid. Fresh veggies, very mayo heavy tuna...well done! For 8 bucks I got that with a fry and soda, you can't beat it. Word around work is that their chicken cheesesteaks are the best on macdade blvd!

Ok I don't know how this happened but when my family and I looked at the menu we were all craving wings - but wound up ordering a steak burrito bowl - which was fabulous - a chicken burrito bowl - awesome and chicken fajita quesadilla which were good. The additional add on of guacamole was worth it. Good food that hit the spot! We ordered online but opted to pick up and in less than 20 minutes the order was waiting for us nice and hot. Now I will say that one of us ordered a cheeseburger and the bun was over powering the meat. And there wasn't really any flavor going on with it but we will order from here again and maybe next time we'll order wings!

Broasted chicken is huge in Northeast Ohio where I lived a number of years before returning to this area. I was stoked to learn there's a local Delco spot that supposedly makes legit broasted chicken. Tonight, I thought I'd check it out. There's not much to say about the restaurant as far as how it looks. A dive is how I'd describe it. Inside there are only two tables if you care to dine in. There is a large kitchen - expected as they offer everything from pizza to wings to hoagies to chicken on a huge menu. Monday's special is a 5 dollar small pizza so I added one to my order. I ordered a two piece white meat broasted chicken platter. A breast and a wing. Picked the broasted potatoes and a salad for my sides. Order an extra chicken leg. Had a slice of pie in the car. It tasted good pipping hot. Blend of cheeses and fresh dough and sauce. A decent pie for Delco was my first impression. When I got home I saw they screwed up the order. No leg but an extra wing. One wing didn't taste as well cooked as the other. The breast was overdone almost to the point of being inedible. I was surprised at how the chicken had no taste. It was a real let down. The potatoes were fair. The lettuce in the salad was great but the only thing else was some red onions and tomatoes you'd find on a hoagie. The pizza tasted terrible once the pipping heat became warm. I had hoped for better. Was disappointed it wasn't.

Decided to try somewhere different for wings a few weeks ago and, having driven past Wingers countless times, decided to give them a shot. In short, one shot was enough. We ordered 3 dozen wings - medium, teriyaki and honey bbq. All were SOGGY... the highest crime you can commit in the wing world as far as I'm concerned. They did crisp up a bit after a few minutes in the oven, but I shouldn't have to turn my oven on at all unless I'm reheating leftovers the following day. As far as flavor... medium was fairly flavorless and really skimpy on the sauce. Teriyaki were way too salty. I didn't care for the honey bbq but my boyfriend thought they were okay. Even though I'm not a huge fan of their service I will be sticking with Not Just Wings until I find something better.

Winger's is a funny place. It doesn't look like much, and has a crazy chicken painted on the outside, but there's actually seating and a TV inside if for some reason you were actually interested in eating in. As far as the food goes, like many pizza places in the area, Winger's offers a little bit of everything - and with the exception of it's namesake, it's all good. I've been here a few times, and have yet to have something disappointing...except for the wings. The pizza is phenomenal - but it doesn't reheat very well, so eat it fresh. The various wraps are very good, as are some of the pasta meals. However, 'wing' is in the name, and unfortunately, the wings are a bit lacking. They aren't BAD per se, just kinda...bland. The sauce is fairly tasteless, even if spicy enough. I can eat the wings, but they aren't as good as I'd hoped for. So if you're in the mood to grab some take out, check out Winger's - regardless of what you're hungry for, you'll find something you like. Just, ya know, maybe check out another place for the wings.

Went to write a follow up review, only to realize that I had never reviewed them before. I guess it slipped my mind and/or prior experiences were neither great or terrible. I don't come here often, even though they are really close. I've never had their pizza but if the sauce they serve with their Jap Poppers are any indication, it's worth a try. I've had their wings twice now. The "hot" were lackluster and the Teriyaki were good. Despite some other reviews, I think the taste and texture of the wings were pretty good. Either I got a good batch or they stepped up their game. I still think Not Just Wings has them beat though. Surprisingly, I'd say their cheesesteak is one of the best around. Good sized and not too expensive. Meat/cheese/onion ratio is perfect. Also always had great and friendly service here. Maybe they should change their name to Cheesesteakers to avoid confusion.

Great spot for lunch and dinner. The broasted wings are better than regular wings, I highly recommend those. Delicious pizzas as well. The staff there are great, they know their customers and have improved the menu from previous years.

Another place where it helps to know how they do things before you order. This is my go to place for wings in this area. I get them with mild sauce, great flavor in my opinion, and they are very meaty. I do wish the wings were crispier, but it doesn't bother to the point where I would go somewhere else. I don't know if this place changed ownership and sauces, but people should be made aware of the Winger's sauce upon ordering. I like it, but it is unusual if you are not ready for it. From what I remember, it was a tomato based sauce that was heavy on the garlic. One of the other things I get here is the chicken cheesesteak lunch special. You get a regular size chicken steak, a large portion of fries, and a can of soda for only $8. Last time I ordered, I had enough for two full meals. Not only is it a great deal, but the quality of food makes it worth it. I like how they use fresh chopped chicken instead of minced chicken steak. I've tried the broasted chicken. It was less greasy than some other places, but it was still just fried chicken. Overall I have to give this place thumb's up. It's not as good as P.J. Whelihan's or The Village Pub in Swedesboro, NJ, it's good for the area.

I've been coming here off and on for about 5 years since I moved back to Glenolden. Hadn't been here in a while, and I must admit that the reason I hadn't been back is because the wife is just not a fan of them. Everytime I used to say "Can we order from Winger's", she would put the ol' kabosh on it. I apologize to the owners of this fine establishment. I just can't talk my wife into it. So what makes me want to sneak out and get some on my own every now and then when she's somewhere else for the night and I'm fending for myself for dinner? The broasted chicken, that's what. I just like the huge and juicy pieces they serve up. This they have locked down. Now... here's the part where I see my wife's point. A restaurant that has the word "wing" in their name, and in a place where the competition for wing business has plenty of other choices, should not be putting out the quality of wings that they are putting out. The medium sauce is mild at best. Honestly, I'd serve it to a baby and not even be concerned about burning their tongue. And the wings themselves... it has to be said. A wing place should NEVER serve soggy wings. Those suckers simply must be crisp out of the fryer. There are many pizza places on Mac Dade Blvd who can do better than this. Oily and crispy is a good combo. Oily and soggy... not so much. But the broasted chicken gets them 3 stars and gets me coming back at some point for more. Maybe I'll come back again in a year or two.

I gave 5 stars just for the pizza. The salads and broasted chicken are also really good. I'm not much of a wing fan so I probably wouldn't be the best reviewer for those, but I do eat the honey barbacue wings.

Great sauces, and the best cheesesteak available for delivery around. The other menu items (such as wraps, burgers, etc.) have crisp, fresh produce on them, and the broasted chicken is very good. The "Tater Babies" deserve a special mention: They're kind of hidden on the menu, but they are definitely not "babies". They're potato wedges, and frankly the best I've ever had.

Hmmmm, you would think that a place called Wingers would have good wings. We'll, they weren't. Small wings, soaked in sauce. Not what I was expecting at all. I ate 2 of 10. The broasted chicken made up for it. Hot, fresh, and big yummy pieces. Sides (fries and cole slaw) were fair. Ordered delivery and it made it within the promised time.

You have to try the Cajun fried shrimp with their buffalo dipping sauce, amazing!!!!! I'd post a picture but I always eat them before I remember to! Great broasted chicken & chicken fingers.

We often order Lunch from Wingers's. We enjoy the food, the customer service is great, they deliver to our location and they are prompt! We really like their pizza and chicken fingers. The wings have gotten better over the past couple of years. We prefer the xtra hot - xtra well done wings. The salads are ok and the broasted chicken is not for everyone... what I mean is, One guy here would eat it everyday and the other guy well, he will eat it but would rather have the pizza. I am partial to the buffalo chicken cheese steaks. When our company orders for all the employees here, it doesn't break the bank. They have daily pizza specials and cheese steak specials and the like. All in all, we have had a good experience with Wingers over the years and appreciate the good food and great customer service we receive.

I place an order for Wingers for a Pizza and some wings. The person I talked to was very pleasant and helpful. He told me what he though was good. When the Food came to my house quickly. It was great the pizza was very hot and it was just the way I like it. The wings were delicious. I like my wings hot and they did not disappoint. I would tell anyone who asked for a good place to get some food about Wingers.

I recently ordered from here on Super Bowl Sunday. Service 5/5 I ordered early and got my order at the designated time. They were helpful and friendly at pickup. Pizza 4/5 So far this is the best pizza I have had since moving to Delco 6 months ago. I like new york style pizza where the crust is obviously the crust and pizza is this. This area is known to just have one continuous piece with sauce and cheese slapped on. Wings 2/5 I ordered a good amount of wings and while I was not expect large jumbo Hooters style wings. I was not expecting the dinky ones that local pubs use on their 25 cent wing night. Maybe if it wasn't super bowl and just ordering a normal amount it would be different I do not know. Sauce. 3/5 While the sauce tasted good it definitely didn't seem like Honey BBQ to me. I am used to Honey BBQ or any BBQ sauce being a darkish brown color. This was more a bright red. Tasty but not Honey BBQ. Overall 3.5/5 I will round down on the stars. I will be coming back here for Pizza but unless someone tells me the wings will be different I will go elsewhere.

Cheesesteak was good. The wings were cooked good but the sauce wasn't that great which surprised me. I never really had "crappy" sauce from a wing place which is why i am giving it 3 stars. Up your sauce game Wingers!
