Great Italian food. Large portions, great prices, and the food is served hot and fresh. One of the best Italian restaurants in Berks County.

I had been here before (not my choice) a friend wanted to meet up here so I met up in this restaurant. Not impressed. The waiters are not nice they don't even say hello to you when u walk in. They don't bother to come back to ask if u need a refill or anything else. Then after a few wks later I decided to come in with my daughters(this time my choice) for dinner and they were not busy but I walked in and everyone who worked here looked at me and didn't say anything to me or asked if I needed a table and I waited 15 mins for someone to come and greet me to sit us and no one ever did. So I asked the guys over the counter how do I get someone to sit us and he didn't know what to tell me. Freaken weird! Honestly the food is not great it's average Italian food. Want amazing Italian food go to "from the boot" in Lafayette hill. definitely worth the drive! Amazing amazing food!! They don't charge extra for pasta or salad. Haha

First off, let me say we come here after church every Sunday. The only reason we do is cause the food is pretty cheap, and the most of it is good. The service is pretty bad most of the time, but I do not blame that on the waitresses. I blame it on the owner since he doesn't schedule enough waitresses to work on Sunday. There's usually only 1 waitress working for all 8 tables on a Sunday at 1pm. She was so stressed out, and I don't blame her. Bring your bull horn in order to get her attention or else she'll forget about you. The food is usually good, as long as you only order salads and some sandwiches. Like another guy said, alot of the food has no taste. The pizza tends to be burned, the calzones are hard, and the appetizers don't come out til your meal is ready. If anything, have more diverse cold sandwiches and get better quality meats for your food.

Good area restaurant for Italian/diner style food. The sub sandwiches on homemade bread are highly recommended and the main reason we go so can't speak to most of the rest of the menu although everything we've tried has been good. As other reviewers have mentioned service is mixed, though we have not had any major problems.

Great for takeout pizza, not so great for dining in. I'm originally from the NYC area so good pizza in Berks County, PA is hard to find. Fiores pizza is by far my favorite pizza in the area and it's cheaper than a lot of nearby competitors. If you're looking for take-out pizza, call ahead, pick it up, and you won't be disappointed. My only small complaint is that Fiores doesn't deliver. Eating in the restaurant, on the other hand, can be hit or miss (although mostly miss). Even if you want to stop in for a slice of pizza and soda, be prepared to wait at least twenty minutes since they don't have pies ready to be sliced. I have yet to order a dinner entree, but the calzones and strombolis are good and reasonably priced. If you do decide to eat in, I recommend you avoid ordering the appetizers. For 5-6 bucks, you could do better than some frozen mozz sticks or breaded mushrooms.

Where to begin.... I've been to Fiore's a handful of times and almost every single one of those times I've ordered a hoagie. Let me first inform you, dear reader, it would be in your best interest to never order anything BUT food that comes on bread i.e. a sandwich, hoagie etc. Their bread is the only reason I would consider getting food from them again. One day I finish work, a particularly hard day, and ask my boyfriend if we can get some veal parmesan (it's my comfort food) and he agreed. When he asked where we could get it, i said, "HOW ABOUT FIORE'S???" So we get there and have the same waitress we usually have. This waitress in particular might be related to the owners or something because she should never have been hired as someone to serve food. She isn't friendly, she doesn't know what she's doing and she is not attentive. Good luck getting refills on your pepsi, because unless you fire off a flare, you're stuck with some soda flavored melted ice. So the waitress takes our order and we are prepared for some tasty food. Except it wasn't tasty. It really wasn't anything. Like, it literally had no taste. My veal had about 3 inches of clotted tomato sauce that gave the appearance of a nice piece of meat, but in reality the cut was probably the thickness of paper. No taste and the pasta wasn't cooked long enough. My boyfriend got some weird chicken mozzarella calzone thing. There was litterally 2 cubes of chicken in it. Needless to say he didn't finish it. the waitress came over and without saying anything, took our plates away. Now i just told you how gross the food is so obviously i didn't want to look at it anymore, but isn't it customary to ask patrons if you can remove their plates? Like, how would you like it if I came over and took your plates from the table? Also, took an almost-full cup of my bf's soda when he wasn't finished drinking it. He mentioned that he wasn't finished and she apologized but didn't offer to get him a new one. We go to pay, we had split our checks so I was paying for my meal and he was paying for his. I told them the food wasn't good and to their credit, they offered to not charge me. Since i'm actually a really nice person deep down and only reserve my complaints for the seedy underbelly of yelp, i let them know since i took a few bites of it i was going to pay. just when i thought i was being the better person, they ended up charging me for my boyfriend's meal which was a lot cheaper so he was pissed. once again, get a hoagie from this joint. i've heard the pizza is decent but i personally have never had it.

It is safe to say that I'm obsessed with this place. It is probably my favorite Italian restaurant. Whenever I'm in the area I make sure to stop by for their spinach ravioli (SO GOOD). The pasta as well as the sauce both taste homemade and the portions are appropriate. Everyone gets a choice of garlic or regular bread with their meal and if you are the only one interested in that particular option you get an entire loaf to yourself (SCORE!) - although I may add that i suggest paying the dollar extra (or whatever it is) and getting the cheesy bread instead. I can't comment on anything on their menu beyond the spinach ravioli (since that is literally what I get every-single-time) but they do have a lot of great options which are vegetarian friendly and even my meat eating family members tend to enjoy their meals as well.

Prices and quality are about the same as local competitors. However, the service SUCKS. Waited over half an hour for two sandwiches and the dining room was certainly not full! Will not go back and will not recommend. Bad experience.

Good very affordable Local Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria The pasta is good with a nice sauce. I had the Italian trio which was veal, chicken and eggplant parm. The portion was HUGE and it was under $12. The chicken and eggplant were good. However, the veal had an odd texture, almost like a burger consistency. It wasn't bad, just odd. My wife had the linguine with chicken and broccoli, which she enjoyed. My son had the chicken fingers which got big thumbs ups! The side order of rigatoni pasta was very good with a tasty sauce. Would come back to try the pizza.

I was really disappointed with this restaurant. I went with my family after hearing great things. Our waitress was rude and in attentive (it took 1.5 hours to get a soda refill). The food took an hour to get out to us and my veal Parmesan wasn't ready yet and took longer. The bruschetta had no taste and their pasta was bland and over cooked. It's amazing that this restaurant tries to pass itself off as an Italian restaurant. Oh, and the appetizer combination was all frozen foods heated up.

Food was amazing, bread and rolls are so good on sandwiches and subs!!! We both just hoped for a little better service from the servers. We had to flag waiters and waitresses down to get refills.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
