Wesos is a dive bar with a local bar feel. This little diamond in the rough is perfect for what ever you are seeking. If you want a reasonable happy hour they got that. If you want daily food specials they got that. If you wanna watch a sporting event with big tv's they got that. Wesos has the best wing night in all of Chester County. Their wings are large and full of sauce. So finger licking good! My sons love this place. It's affordable to teenagers and they have a large sitting area to accommodate large crowds. Wesos has something for everyone. My son and I watched a hockey game and enjoyed their sweet chili wings. It had the perfect sweet to hot ratio. What I loved about the wings. Even though they are covered in sauce, they still maintain crunch! We couldn't stop eating them and licking our fingers. Who needs napkins when the sauce is that scrumptious?

Hands-down the creepiest "restaurant" I ever stepped foot in. We walked in and immediately turned around and walked out. I'm not sure if it was the appearance (dark w/ dirty old yellow lighting) or the fact that "it smelled like cigarettes and old people" (direct quote from my boyfriend) or a combination of the two. There was no way we were going to be able to sit down there and eat their food. Before arriving, we YELP'd it and I was disappointed with the reviews considering a lot were negative. But after actually going and seeing it for myself, all the negative comments are true! please listen to me and the others when we say don't waste your time!

You come to Wesos for one thing: Wings! These are the best wings you will ever eat! Bone in, lightly crispy, generously sauced, and served up with a side of blue cheese or ranch dressing and celery. On Wednesdays and Sundays it's 35 cents a wing! plus $2.50 Lager drafts. That's 10 wings and a Lager for $6. The prefect mid week happy hour! They are currently renovating including an updated draft system - new coolers, and updated bathrooms. It's a welcome improvement but not a far stretch from the bar you know and love!

I've been coming here for years now. If it's Wednesday night, I'm probably here. This place is reasonably priced and 35 cent wings on Wed is pretty awesome. The wings can be small at times but they are real crispy which I love. They make their own hot sauces (I tend to get 10 regular hot and 10 habanero). The regular hot sauce is nice and buttery and the habanero sauce has a good kick with a relatively original flavor. A Yueng is only 3 bucks (used to be 2.50) so you can break the week up with under ten dollars. As far as their other food goes, it's a tad mediocre. Service quality is a bit volatile but the wings themselves come out very quickly and are usually fresh out of the fryer.

The reviews giving Weso's 5 stars have got to be scam reviews. The decor hasn't been updated since the 1970's, the food is very average pub food and service is decent but not amazing. There are much better and newer places within a 5 minute drive down route 100 into Exton. Weso's is mostly a hangout for regulars (they usually sit around the bar) and not for new customers. We've attended their trivia nights on Thursdays for the last 2 years because the host, Andrew Behringer, was totally amazing. They cancelled their trivia last week and replaced it with two slick looking guys with a karaoke machine.. real let down. What's worse is that Andrew was only given a few days notice and the customers were given none.. I guess they wanted us to show up like usual and take part of their awesome (not) new karaoke. Real bummer and an awful way of taking care of long time customers.

We gave this place a second chance and it was another let down.We were there for lunch and had two poorly presented sandwiches.I miss the old people who ran the place.

I was expecting a hidden treasure when I saw the yelp reviews on weso's. Almost walked out once I walked in the door. This place had the smell of past year cigarette smoke that hits once you open the front door. The decor was that of a hole in the wall diner from the 70s. The foot was almost on the foul tasting side. Crab cakes were fishy. Waitresses and bartender were amazingly friendly. I will not be returning.

Stopped in Wesos last night to meet some friends after work for wings a beer. We sat at the bar and the service was great, the two bartenders were on top of all of our drink orders and our wings came out within 5 minutes of ordering. The wings while a little small are cooked perfectly and are real crispy, I had there regular hot and habanero and both were really good. I've notice someone of the reviews on here talk about the lighting and what not, while it is dimly lit it creates a relaxing atmosphere. I ended up getting 20 wings and a few lagers for I believe 15 which is a great deal. Wesos is probably going to become our weekly wing spot for the foreseeable future

Only experienced this establishment once, maybe it was a bad night...maybe it is the norm. Either way won't be back to find out! They were extremely understaffed, never saw waiters/waitresses that had to run as much as they did. Even to the point of sweat running down their faces and stressed so much that the "F" bomb was dropped on numerous occasions. Food was decent at best! Decor less than desirable!

Weso's has the best wings in the measurable universe. All those that say their wings aren't good just don't know what good wings are. They are the dumb people of wingology. Weso's has the best crispy-to-meat-to-sauce ratio, plus the bleu cheese and celery are super freaking good. This is what the critic of Weso's says: "The wings are too small, such and such a place has big wings." Great! Eat there please! More room for me on wing night. Big wings are slimy on the inside and have a poor crispy-to-meat-to-sauce ratio. If you're in it for the chicken, get some good fried chicken somewhere and stop cluttering up my life with your poor judgements.

The entrees here are large, but only moderately flavorful. I've had two that were undercooked and had to be sent back. The house salad is comprised of nice greens, not iceberg lettuce, and the blue cheese dressing was apparently homemade and excellent. The complimentary bread is quite good, and could be great if warmed up. Unfortunately, it is served not with butter, but with the worst margarine I've ever tasted (although our waiter claimed it was butter). Overall, it's okay, I guess, especially if you can find their coupon for $13 off.

This place feels a little weird, but the food is really good and tastes fresh. The bartender/ server was really nice as well

Not a fancy place, but a good place to go to get a solid plate of Spaghetti and Meatballs, as well as other Italian dishes, along with a cold beer. I shall return !!

Saturday night, and not too busy. We had a large party and had made reservations. Atmosphere: Dark; several of us were using our phones to see the menus. Their website is very misleading ... must have used a lot of lighting for the photo shoot. Service: Friendly, but not very competent. For example, I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad without croutons and received the salad loaded with them--at least a cup. It had taken so long for our orders, I just took them off and put them on a plate. I was surprised when the bread basket came and styrofoam plates were offered as bread plates ... tacky. Food: OK ... salad was drenched in dressing. Tasted OK. My understanding from another diner was that the spaghetti and meatballs he ordered was just OK. Definitely a meh ... I miss Lasordas. Not planning another trip.

It was okay..we used a Groupon. My girlfriend hated our experience, I didn't mind it as much. Pros: Good, friendly service, beer specials, curly fries were awesome, broccoli bites were impressive, I had a solid burger. Cons: Thing that got me the most was the fact that I paid to put 2 songs on the jukebox, just before they shut off the jukebox to turn on the March Madness Final 4 game with audio. Waste of a dollar! The 250 lb waitress who did a striptease in front of the window, eww, the bartender who was heard talking about me when I walked into the bathroom, the onion rings were crispy but had zero flavor, and I only got 6, the mozzy sticks were undercooked, the club sandwich was lunchmeat, we could have went to Giant and made a better sandwich. I have nothing against dive bars, but there wasn't many redeeming qualities about this place. We probably won't be back. It'll probably be on an upcoming episode of Restaurant Impossible, and after that, we still won't be back.

"Dive bar" - Nothing fancy - food was OK and atmosphere was fine. I had a steak that was seasoned well but could have been cooked better. Mashed potatoes were lukewarm. I'd love to come back here for wing nite and a few beers.

This is one of the best kept secrets in Chester Co.! I recommend the 9 oz. sirloin which comes with a wonderful sauce with grilled onions and mushrooms, salad, roasted baby potatoes, vegetable and bread & butter. Sticky bun bread pudding and bananas foster cheesecake bites are just two of their delicious desserts. The porkette sandwich is delicious, if you're looking for a good sandwich. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
