Chris's is the best place for a stuffed slice in Ephrata, and god knows Ephrata has quite a few places to go for pizza. For $4, you'll leave full after, say, a hot wing chicken stuffed slice--you can't get a meal from a lot of places for $4. The selection is also fantastic, with usually about 7 or 8 varieties of stuffed pies available for a quick slice. The staff is wonderful; always friendly, always amusing. Occasionally they'll whip up some kind of appetizer or dessert (nothing fancy) and just drop it on the table for you, no charge. Don't count on it, but it's just a nice gesture of appreciation. The fact that most times when I go in there I see familiar customers suggests that this place never seems to lose business; it has its regulars, and for good reason. Take the Cannoli. Seriously, they're great here.

this is NOT ny style pizza. way too thick of a crust. how about a plain pie on thin crust with cheese? you're in ephrata, what'd you expect...

This place is a lifesaver when I'm visiting PA. It's not *exactly* NY pizza, but it's a heck of a lot closer than any of the other sauce-and-cheese-covered mush in the area. Plus, they cater to my niblings' picky taste ("Nothing green in the sauce!") without complaint.

excellent specialty slices and real philly style cheesesteaks (which are tough to find in this area)

wow, this was really good! ---------- FOOD: I ordered an italian sub and a special cheese steak. The italian is for lunch today, but we each had a half of the cheese steak. The guy at the counter recommended it saying itll fill you up. He wasn't wrong. It was really good and just a half was filling! DECOR: Its a pizza shop. its pretty standard stuff. They have quite a number of tables both inside AND out and its really clean. SERVICE: Very friendly. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. They also were joking around with each other. Thats something you dont often see in a pizza place. They were all adults and i suspect they were the owners. ---------- WOULD I GO BACK? Sure would, but I dont live close by anymore. If I get the chance I will tho. They had some crazy pizzas on display that need to be tried. Buffalo chicken cheese steak in Chicago style?! Oh yeah, that's gotta be tried..

Growing up in Ephrata and moving to New York City, Chris's New York Pizza is one of the reasons I still come home, ehh besides family. Chris's Pizza is a small joint behind McDonalds in the cloister shopping center. It's a family run business and everyone working is really friendly. The buffalo chicken stuffed pizza is what keeps me coming back. It's amazing. For around $4.50, you get a huge slice of pizza (more like a pie) stuffed to the brim with chicken and buffalo sauce and topped with blue cheese dressing. The pizza isn't too spicy but packs a lot of flavor. One slice usually fills me up. They also have about 6-10 other types of stuffed pizza available by the slice and more options for full pies. Everything else i've tried has been delicious as well - haven't gone wrong yet. Tip - Last time I was in (Nov 2014), Chris's Pizza was cash only during the weekend.

I stopped in Ephrata for a business trip, and yelp in this area is under used! I've taken some photos of the food I got here, which was excellent. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak calzone and an Italian salad, because my order needed to be $15 to get delivery to the Hampton Inn. Extra star bc I called in an order at 8:20pm, when they close at 8:30, and they were pretty nice about it. They forgot a fork with my salad so I ate the good stuff off the top--frankly, half the calzone was enough food for me! Calzone was loaded with ricotta and mozzarella cheese with a delicious herb and butter melted on top. They included a large canister of savory, chunky, sweet tomato sauce. Their blue cheese dressing has large chunks of blue cheese in it. I'm back in Ephrata next week and I just might order from Chris's again.

Pretty good stuff! Just moved my girlfriend into the area. We needed dinner so I drove around and stopped here. Great choice! Pizza was great! Prices were not bad!

One of our favorite pizza places... definitely worth the prices, which are a little higher than your average pizza joint. You are paying for FLAVOR! My favorite is the stuffed spaghetti & meatballs slice; my husband loves the cheesesteak stuffed slice. The only reason this isn't five stars is because their service is slow (but friendly!)
