Stopped by for dinner and a drink. The bartender strongly recommended the pulled beef sandwich, which I had. It was ok, nothing super or special to write home about, the horseradish sauce was good and complemented the sandwich well. I also had a steamed clam appetizer. The clams were plain steamed, no broth or any additional flavor, they were served with browned butter, which was good. Overall I would say the staff and local beer selection are the reason to visit. The food was good, competently executed, but not really original in any way. All in all Volpe's is a good value for an any day of the week when you want bar food while watching the game. There is an indoor smoking area (closed door partition from the rest of the bar) for those of us who enjoy a cigar (or cigarette).

Good for drinks. Nothing special, just a typical sports bar. They have a smoking section, but I avoid that side.

Not my favorite bar in the area but they tend to have good music and drinks. Nice service too

Volpes is the go to place if you're an industry person in the area. As a manager of another restaurant I can appreciate what they try to do there. Great service, decent food, awesome beer selection. A solid 4 stars.

We hate writing bad reviews but the management here is just horrendous. The bar staff, especially an older gentleman, is hilarious, entertaining and helpful but don't ask for something special or maybe even look at the bar manager - Brendan - the wrong way. He'll tell the staff to stop serving you drinks, get your tab and tell you to leave. Customer service is the most important part of your dining experience, this place has missed the mark. Wish it was better. Hire a new manager, this place could be so much more.

Had a great time at happy hour. Good selection of craft beer with Happy hour specials. This was a place a lot of locals were telling me about and just had to check it out. Great pub food, had the wings and a burger that my wife and I split, which was plenty for both of us. We will certainly go back regularly now that we know all our friends also go there for dinner and drinks.

The food was good, service is lousy. The waitress took our empties and never asked if we wanted another drink. We are in a BAR! We came to socialize and have a drink. It's been over an hour since she even looked at us. Good thing we enjoy enjoy each other's company. Update: Decided to give Volpe's another try. So glad I did. The service was fantastic and the food was great as always. Management did what they needed to do to improve their service and make customers happy.

Went in last night to meet my cousin for some drinks and food. Bar was very clean and our bartender was all smiles and personality (always loved that in a bartender) ordered some beers (loved that the had hooegarden) had the chicken sandwich special, home run perogies, and jerked wings. Food was hot and great beers were cold!! Recommend this place to all will be back next time I'm in town!

was really liking the food but service was just okay until the day i saw a cook take a break without removing his gloves. when i asked the server to just ask for fresh gloves, the cook came out and confronted us by yelling across the bar. the food is good but the staff needs a looking at

Terrible food. Smaller smoker bar, and a separate larger, spacious, non-smoking bar area with multiple flat screen TV's. Too local yocal for it's own good. Staff was borderline indifferent and feigned friendly. A lot of potential.

Seriously I love Volpe's! They treat you like family here. The bartenders are absolutely amazing and they always remember your name. They have two bars one is for smoking and one is for food and nonsmoking. It's one of the last bars that allows smoking. They have a great beer and liquor selection and the food is pretty good. They always have games or fights on, it is the perfect place to catch your favorite PA team.

After awkwardly having to seat ourselves. We were approached by multiple waitress, each not knowing anyone had spoken with us. The positive was that the food was brought out quickly, but appetizers were small, expensive, even though they had been frozen. The waitresses forgot about us for almost an hour. Took our drink order, but then forgot to bring them out. Service was negligent. We wanted to leave as soon as our March Madness game was over, but we were never offered our check and had to ask at the bar.

Football season is back and this place is the best. Great staff, 20 HD TVs and fans of all teams ....no obnoxious jerks (at least not for long). Very good food - a great sportsbar!

Came to Volpe's last night for the first time ever and had a great time. The bartender was extremely friendly and it was a fun and light atmosphere. This is my new go-to place in the Lehigh Valley.

I've never been inside this restaurant, but I had a chance to sample their cusine at the Emmaus Summer Fest this weekend. My husband went straight for the Burgery tent, and while I love Burgery anything, I wanted to try something else. I'd never even heard of Volpe's, so it was time to try it! I went for the pulled pork barbecue. The bun was super fresh, and the bbq was okay...the meat was high quality, but the sauce was a bit sweet for me. Overall it was a good sandwich. I don't do much for sports bars, but the next time we are, we'll probably try actually going to Volpe's.

This is THE sports bar in the Lehigh Valley. Great selection of beer and food. Really fun atmosphere for football and baseball fans. Volpe family have been in the bar business for a long time and they know what they are doing. Highly recommend.
