When the new owners bought Tommy's over 6 years ago I didn't know if the pizza would get any better, boy I was wrong. Their plain pie is out of this world and their crust is to die for. Also the Sicilian is very delicious, a must try for everyone!

We got takeout from there tonight. Pretty disappointed. We just went to basics are we were not too hungry and it was a little late to cook dinner. We ended up throwing out sauteed broccoli away after a few bites. If you offer a vegetable as a side it should be fresh it was obviously frozen from a bag. Also thew away more than a half of an order of wings. Plus side, friendly service and a great bowl of soup. Maybe their meals are better than their apps and sides, but we probably won't be going back again.

Saw this place on Grub Hub and gave it a try. the food is Dee F-ing licious!!!!! We got the zeppole for dessert but I have to admit we ate them first. They are awesome. Crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Dressed in chocolate, strawberry and caramel! They give you a bunch in an order too.Dont think about it just get them and then thank me. The muffalata sandwich I got was also great. The bread they use is a rustic chibatta and its filled with quality italian cold cuts and fresh mozzarella. classic muffalata done well. We tried the pizza spring rolls which were also fantastic. I was very impressed with everything. obviously quality ingredients and it all tasted great....until.....my wife saw a hair in her sandwich!!! If you are out with a group and someone is going to have a hair or bug in their food it will be my wife. Her bad luck with this kind of stuff is ridiculous. Accidents do happen and because everything else was so good we will try them again. hopefully it was a one time thing. I'll keep you all posted. 12/17/14 I wanted to update my review. I was contacted today by the owner who was very apologetic for our experience last night. Not only did she apologize but she sent a driver out to deliver a fresh sandwich. As I said in my review accidents happen but its how an owner deals with problems that will bring me back. So to some it all up, the food here is delicious and the owner cares about the business and her customers how can you go wrong. I will absolutely be back.

The food was outstanding this restaurant is not far from downtown Easton. Less than a mile very inexpensive and there is parking. The service was very good and the quality of the food was outstanding. I had the pasta alla vodka and it was a big portion. My husband had the broccoli and penne with sausage and it was also outstanding, nice family restaurant.

Sole Mio has excellent antipasto. I also had their "upside-down" pizza (sauce on top of cheese), and the sauce was delicious. This is a bit more upscale than a run-of-the-mill pizza joint, with some authentic Italian entrees to choose from as well as more standard fare. Clean, newly-opened and renovated, this is definitely a place to check out.

Ordered through GrubHub. The food was delivered about 10 minutes earlier then GH projected it be. The delivery guy seemed nice enough. I ordered a small garlic pie which was good. The fact that they offer a small/personal pie is great with me as a lot of places don't offer much under a large. I asked for extra garlic and they came through. I also had a burger and fries which were good as well. I liked the fact that they cut a small opening in the container lid which kept the fries from having that soggy texture. And of course I couldn't resist the zeppolies (or whatever they are called). Someone else reviewed them here and he or she was spot on with the review! (Thanks btw!) Awesome and plenty! I would def. recommend ordering from here if you are thinking about it. Everybody has different tastes, I know, but hopefully you will find it as good as I did. As far as the prices, I found them to be set perfectly!

Third visit and ordered on a busy night. Grilled panini was on ciabatta bread with excessive flour and not grilled. Taste of chicken pesto panini was just ok to bland. Muffaletta sandwich was bad, only 1 slice of meat each, sparse olive spread, not enough flavor. What's a panini without being put in a panini press? Come on. Called owner and explained dissatisfaction and was given excuses galore. I could make better sandwiches at my house. If going stick with the pizza and meals. My previous 4 star review was before Tommy's bought this place.

Sole Mio opened up this past spring. My girlfriend and I finally remembered to try it out last night and all we can say is WOW! Honestly, we had average expectations but were pleasantly surprised. Service: The service was fantastic. I can't stress this enough. Every employee we made eye contact with greeted us or asked if we were enjoying ourselves. That's huge for us. There was nothing but positive friendly employees. They brought garlic bread to our table immediately after we sat. Most places wait until you order, and I hate that! Drinks were prompt. Food was hot (this is a service issue, not a food issue like most people think). Food: The food was good. Caesar salads were full of greens, croutons, Parmesan and Roma tomatoes. Dressing was served on the side without asking. This could be good or bad depending on your expectations but definitely not the norm. Garlic and Lemon Chicken was amazing, but three times the size it needed to be. (Side note: I had the leftover's for lunch today and it was still very good.) Chicken Diane was excellent. The dish has several ingredients that could have overpowered the dish but didn't. Both entrees were served over al dente pasta. Again, well done. Ordered canolis for desert. The canolis were small, but the filing made us forget about that quickly. We are told that the owner's wife spends 4 hours churning the filling to get it just right. We think she did just that. Decor: Decor was ok. The restaurant is in a larger than necessary building. The building had been vacant for quite some time and the owner appears to have spent a large amount of his budget on curb appeal. Inside, everything was very clean and had the feeling of a typical Mom and Pop-type Italian restaurant.

My girlfriend and I went here last night because she bought a Groupon. It was the first time for us. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. We shared a Caprese Salad which was good. I had the Shrimp Alla Panna, a pasta dish with a sun dried tomato cream sauce. It was excellent! My girlfriend had Penne Vodka Sauce, which she thoroughly enjoyed. They do not have a liquor license but you can bring your own alcohol. We will definitely be back.

An okay pizzeria that I feel doesn't understand anything more than making a basic pizza and if you order none pizza item which you would normally get elsewhere you will get some strange combination...

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
