My wife purchased a Groupon a while back for this place and it is getting ready to expire so we decided to make a date of it tonight. We figured it's a little Italian restaurant, there are a million places like this, we figured we knew what was in store. When we walked in, the first thing I noticed is that my feet stuck to the floor, this is never an appealing sensation when entering somewhere where you plan to eat. There were only 3 tables occupied so they weren't mobbed for a place that has a Groupon about to expire. We sit down at a table and wait. During the first ten minutes the server walked past us 6 or 7 times on her way to the table next to us taking plates full of food to and from the table, odd. The entire table of 5 was RETURNING THEIR FOOD because it wasn't what they ordered! 5 orders all wrong! The girl had to take their orders all over again and start from scratch! After observing this for 10 minutes and still not having drinks, we probably would have left, but we had the Groupon. We decide to keep it simple to avoid error and we order eggplant rolotini for an appetizer, I order a stromboli and my wife orders a cheesesteak with a side of cheese fries, basic Italian restaurant fare, we can get these things 100 other places. conveniently enough, my wife sets a stopwatch as soon as the girl goes off with our order. 35 minutes later, out come the cheese fries that were supposed to come out with the cheesesteak, 35 minutes! All they were was deep fried frozen French fries with a slice of American cheese melted over them, 35 minutes? We eat them anyway because we are starving. At the 50 minutes mark, out comes the eggplant rolotini. It was good, not great, not 50 minutes of waiting great. We eat them quickly because we are still very hungry. 65 minutes after ordering, out comes the stromboli and the cheesesteak. They look absolutely normal, nothing magical about either item, they were very good, just not 65 minutes good. The only reason I gave 2 stars over 1 is because the food was quite good, but their "order flow process" is abysmal, you gotta do better then that as an Italian restaurant in the LV.

The food is very good. And we love that they deliver. But trying to place an order is almost impossible. Every time we call we get someone who barely speaks English, and someone who doesn't know the menu. I'm holding the menu and ordering right off it and the girl tells me she doesn't know what I'm talking about. Plus twice I have added shrimp to my pasta and haven't gotten it. I was never charged for it, but I ordered it cause I want it.

Ordered through grub hub. Their minimum order is $10 with no delivery fee. I ordered penne vodka and sausage. Total was 11.90 AT 1pm on a Saturday. I added 20% tip automatically on my credit card. 20 minutes later I get a call from who I assume is the manager/owner saying his delivery guy refuses to driver 3.6 miles for the 20% I added to my order for the tip. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I have never been so offended! ITS A SHAME THAT THEY LOST A REPEAT CUSTOMER OVER THIS.

It's not unusual for Chef owned restaurants to be focussed on the food, with ambiance playing second fiddle. Capeccis Italian Grill unfortunately falls into this category. It's not going to catch you eye driving by it on the William Penn Highway in Easton, PA. The two times my wife and I have been there we were virtually the only car in its parking spaces. The atmosphere inside, while warm and very friendly, won't be mistaken for the Olive Garden. However, the quality of the food, the portions, as well as the pricing, is another story. My wife is in the food business and can't speak highly enough about the entrees. We've haven't dined there on the weekends which our waitress, who was terrific, says it fills up, but no enough that you can't get a table. Nor have we been there when they have their chicken entrees and pasta specials which if they are up to the standards of the chef-owner are bound to be well worth it. So if you can trade off ambiance for excellent food, I recommend Capeccis highly.

My wife's co-workers suggested she try this place out, as it is right around the corner from our apartment. I was skeptical because the previous Italian place at this location was pretty bad. We ordered some food for take-out not expecting much. The place is rather small but has a dining area if you decide to eat-in. Your basic pizza joint dining room awaits inside. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer with spicy marinara, my wife got the linguini carbonara with sausage, and they catered to my request for a linguini (no fettucine) alfredo with grilled chicken, which wasn't on the menu. Included with our dinner were 6 freshly baked, warm rolls and salad. The calamari was fresh, not chewy and lightly breaded. It was much better than I expected... honestly I thought I was likely getting some chewy, bland calamari but this was quite good! The marinara sauce wasn't "spicy" but was very flavorful (lots of basil). I could have used a few lemon wedges and some of the tentacle pieces (my favorite). The salads were standard fare... lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, carrots with a creamy Italian dressing. The rolls, however, were awesome. Warm, chewy... a complete surprise, really. Our dinners were tasy, as well, especially my wife's carbonara. My chicken was tender, the alfredo wasn't too heavy, and portion sizes were more than adequate. Best of all, two dinners and an appetizer came to $34. Completely reasonable. Just from viewing when I went to pick up the food, the pizza looked pretty good and they make a bunch of specialty pies- something we'll be trying in the future. They do deliver, as well.

If you don't mind getting what what you didn't order it's fine. I was ready for a tasty white pizza with broccoli rabe and sausage as the neopolitana was describe on the menu. What I got was pizza, plain old pizza. I didn't eat it, too disappointed. Vegetable calzone was soggy but eatable. I asked for the pasta dish Al dente but got overdone floating in water. The veal in the dish was good but the shrimp tasted off. Maybe I'll have the pizza for breakfast but I won't be ordering from here again.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
