Why Rob's Will Always Be Better Than Chipotle: 1. The sauce. Always. (Eat the peach one or you have no soul) 2. They don't charge an arm and a leg for their heavenly guac 3. You don't have to sit with a bunch of yuppy businessmen and haughty brats 4. The staff is super chill 5. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS YOU FASCISTS! Fair Warning: There's not a ton of parking or seating. Weekends can get a little crazy. Order early or you WILL have a 45 minute wait. Also, if you're up for even more adventure, ask them about their secret menu. It's like a private club that you will be infinitely grateful you joined.

Food is good, but the people behind the counter are jerks. They act as if I'm doing them a favor by coming and are in on some kind of secret. Who has time for that. Shut up ,take my order, serve it without attitude and take my money. Jeez, you work at a fast food resturant.

Always good food. Amazing eclectic artwork that adorns the walls, doors and every surface. Choice!

I have driven 2 hours just for a Roburrito because there's no better hangover cure. It's not fancy. It's always clean enough. The music is generally real loud and punk rock. And the food? Oh, the food is delicious. You will not find a better burrito anywhere. Not a ton of choices - but that's okay. What they do have is superb, and add ons like guacamole aren't ridiculously expensive. Really, it's all about the sizzauce though. Old Grumpy Mark has the key to my heart forever and ever. The black cherry and peach are my favorites. All the sauces have some kick to them, but it's a GOOD kick... the kind that leaves your mouth tingling like a heavenly, flavorful bbq novocaine lovechild.

What is their secret menu? I have asked on the phone and the response that I get is "it's a secret and if you don't know you can't order from it" Thanks

Literally the best burrito I've ever had. Try the pork and you will be pleasantly surprised. Also really love the shrimp. Their salsa is homemade and so fresh. Yes, the place is TINY, but with food that good, who cares?!

It's a simple burrito, not stuffed with gimmicks - like chips and ranch dressing - which makes it a beautiful thing. No seasoning, or salty goop spilling out - just plain, simple, fresh ingredients. Top it off with some Old Grumpy Marks hot sauce (I truly think this is key to the full Roburritos experience), and you really have a winner. Oh, and the guacamole is FANTASTIC. I could see how the "punk-rocker vibe" could be somewhat off-putting, but it's all about the burrito, and these are as good as they get.

PLEASE INCLUDE THE WEST YORK LOCATION HERE! Thanks. These are simply the best burritos I've every had. Fresh, balanced flavor, amazing produce, grilled meats - all prepared fresh every day, every burrito. Perfection.

Hole in the wall interior (aging greasy spoon by way of Subway..) cheerful staff; music a little loud but cool; walls painted quirkily; good menu a la chipotle. Will customize anything for you. Fantastic selection of hot sauces. Can be a gut bomb but you'll always get very good food, at a good price served cheerfully.

There burritos are alright if you like a pound of rice for lunch, I never heard of rice in a burrito, they told me its a California thing, another reason not to go there.

Pretty cool vibe, good burritos, and chips. Gives chipotle and qdoba a run for their money. Going along with the "vibe" though, it can be a little distracting. Employees often look dirty, and the 'relaxed' atmosphere is not always the nest thing when dealing with food. The music is a little loud as well. Worth a trip just to try their sauces, they are great.

Had a BBQ chicken burrito(with potatoes and Guac) Which was Bangin! Been to Chipolte many many times,( never had a roburrito in Jersey) Chipole doesnt stand a chance with me anymore, The Limeade was amazing too. Great sauce selection had the texas hold em bbq sauce and some peach sauce too. Came with chips and salsa and was great priced it was like $7.75 for everything. Place has a good vibe to it and the dudes there are friendly. Will be back soon..

I would give this place 5 stars if it had...better seating and better parking. As far as everything else, I loved it. Food was fantastic and gigantic. Makes Chipotle look like a Roburrito wannabe. Pricing is very reasonable, my deal was $7.00 for burrito, chips, salsa, drink. GREAT!!

Hefty, delicious burritos for an unbeatable price. The quesadillas are fantastic. What really sets this place apart is the Old Grumpy Mark's hot sauces. They're untouchable. Heat and flavor. It is silly that all the flavors of sauce aren't available at all the locations. Get some Old Crows Nest at the Eastern Market location or my tears will be endless!

Chipotle stay the hell out of Dallastown! Check out my Check-In and photos. This place is dope. Steady flow of business, low key but cool street signage and lots of Yelp stars drew me in for take-out. See my photos of the care in packaging and the Christmas-like-care wrapped burrito at the bottom of the bag. I'm either real hungry or super impressed by the customer and food care and service. Made and run by Millennials no less!!! I'm diving into the burrito and this thing is good. I went for the chicken and the smart and healthy standard of brown rice with the perfect blend of salsa, black beans, guac and sour cream is spot on. Add the squirt of lime I can taste in there and I'm eating the best burrito I've ever had. Perfectly rolled like a Cuban master, or Jamaican, depending on your most personal reference, and this place screams of a must stop. Thanks!

Mmmm, that's all I have to say. Food is great, atmosphere is odd and could be better. It's either freezing cold or hot as hell in there. Other than the atmosphere the food is delicious and so are the sauces. I also wish they had more room for dining in and parking.

Bomb burritos! I love that they offer a small size burrito as most places do not. The ambience is punk rock whimsy. Service isn't the best, but it's worth it. They beat Chipotle any day hands down. Great guacamole!

I've been coming to this Rob's at least once a week since it has opened. Consistently great food, friendly staff, relaxed enviornment. This place is my "go to" restaurant for a reason.

Our family loves Mexican food. Me and my oldest were (notice the past tense) huge Chipotle fans. After moving to PA from MD and experiencing Roburrito I'm surprised I can even remember Chipotle's name. I really like the Burittodilla and the Surf and Turf (a must try). My family loves the Chicken nachos and the chips and salsa.

Delicious burritos always made fresh. The atmosphere of the place is also really unique and fun.

I'm not sure why I believed the hype. I love Mexican food.... Tacos, burritos... I don't discriminate. I was so excited to try this place out while we were between houses on our real estate search. Sadly, the atmosphere was awful. I couldn't take my coat off because it was so cold inside. There wasn't much to say about the food. My husband and I agreed that it was bland and were a little cranky about how we were treated when we customized or meals to our tastes. In the absence of a Chipotle, it might be a good option, but it's not very remarkable to us.

Let me start off by saying there's not much to eat around York. So I'm going to help by doing a service and yelping the only places worth eating around here. Roburritos is good. This place actually rivals Chipotle, and in some ways surpasses it. The burritos are okay, but what make this place stand out is the burritodilla, essentially a burrito grilled down like a quesadilla. The other thing that makes this place stand out, are the sauces. The sauces are all amazing and worth trying. They've combined a bunch of spices and fruits and barbecue flavors to have a plethora of sauces for any palette.

Literally the best burrito joint I know. With the help of guac, awesome sauce, and dr. Mario, it surpasses every chain out there.

This place is one of my favorites, they always have good quesadillas and burritos. The hot sauces are delicious and I will continue going back.

After living in Los Angeles for 17 years it wasn't easy to find an easy replacement for some of the Mexican food there. This place is awesome, I can't wait to go back and to try some of the other locations.

Roburrito's is a great, local spot here in York. Cool people, yummy burritos and a huge selection of hot sauces to suit everyone's tastes. The menu is limited but you can't go wrong with any of it. What's even more awesome is that they have a Dr. Mario arcade machine inside, major points! There are only a few tables inside, so it gets pretty cramped.

Why did I wait so long to try this place? Awesome burritos, and a wide range of homemade hot sauces (Old Grumpy Mark's) that are worth a trip alone. Tiny inside, casual, but cool. If you like Mexican food, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

Had a classic 'Roburrito' with chicken and a Fajita with potato. This place is the real deal. Great food, cheap, cool vibe with great music. Both the burrito and the Dakota were the size of a babies leg. You also get a side a of chips and salsa, the salsa was fresh but not that hot, and a drink with each. For both meals I paid a grand total of $14.50, which was just grrrrreat!. I will definitely order from here on a consistent basis.

Sorry... But there was a hair cooked in my quesadilla.. So disgusting. They did replace it for me, but c'mon ya can't have dreads sticking out everywhere over my food. Folks need to wear hair nets or hats.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
