We came from California, eating our way through the south. Mary's had the best fried chicken, greens, and mashed potatoes by far. The chicken is actually fried to order, giving a new meaning to the word "fresh", and you really can tell the difference. The coating is light, not greasy, and the flavors are wonderful. She also caters, so you can get this to-go or you can come in and sit down, as we did. The portions are big and the price is small. She also had loads of homemade desserts but we were too full to try them: I am sure that they are also delicious. We would eat here again in a heartbeat.
