I can't remember the first time I had a sub from here, but it's probably been five or six years by now. I've never had a bad experience, the food is always over the top, and the people they have employed have always been friendly and fast. Last night I ordered quite a lot of food for 2 adults and 2 kids, and it seemed like the subs were almost waiting for us at the table as soon as we sat down to eat. When you have friends driving up from Florida with a Bob's Sub on their mind, you know the place is doing something right. Best subs I've had in a long, long time.

No atmosphere, and it seems like just ordinary ingredients, but there is something about a Bob's sub that is special, because there is nothing else like them. I have loved them since I first tried one 39 years ago in Clarion. Cappacola is my favorite.

Stopped by here on my way to visit family in eastern PA, located right off of 80 behind the sheetz. The subs here are much better than sheetz and actually filling, I ordered a 6-8 pastrami sub and had leftovers, they go a heavy on the mayo, so ask to go light on the mayo unless you want it spilling out the side. Much better quality than subway/sheetz, cheaper than subway/sheetz. Adding this to a place to stop when I am getting gas at sheetz and need something to eat. Chips are only $ .50, so it isn't price gouging since it located right off a major highway. I would say a small sub and a bag of chips would be a good amount of food for a normal person.

This place is hidden behind the Sheetz gas station. No, seriously, you can park in the Sheetz lot, walk around back of the building, and there's Bob's. You can't see it from the street. (They do have their own parking, accessed from the side street.) Bob's is a real little sub shop with great toasted sub sandwiches. They go heavy on the mayo; I don't know if it's Special Mayo or what, but it's good. Bob's is also right across the street from a Subway, and much better. Tragically, they are only open till 7:00, which leaves Subway a window of business. Bob's itself doesn't have WiFi, but you can pick up the WiFi from the laundromat next door, loud and clear.

One of the nice things about being back in my hometown is revisiting the places I enjoyed back in the day. Bob's is one of those places. I hadn't eaten here in years, but the memory of their large, toasted subs lured me into the small and somewhat hidden spot for lunch. What to order? Bob's Special: turkey, ham and capicola with tomato, lettuce, onion and pickles on a warm, toasted roll. Oh, and you better like, I mean love, mayo because you're getting a ton of it unless you say otherwise. My memory didn't fail me. Delicious!
