I've only gotten take out from here. The food seems to be pretty good and the people have seemed very nice whenever I've gone there. The full bar doesn't hurt. May be the only full bar left in the Brodheadsville area. My only gripe is they've forgotten to put my order through a couple times over the phone which resulted in me having to put it in again and waiting when I got there.

Great food and great service. The pizza is very good, as in NY and NJ good. They even have Zeppoles!!!

Good food, exceptional service. Came here when the place we planned on going to was closed. We had to flag down our waitress to change part of our order and she couldn't have been nicer about it. Food arrived in reasonable time. Will be back!

Let me start off my review saying I only had takeout here. With that said, every time I have ordered here I had to wait at least 25-30 minutes for my order. The pizza itself is nothing special. It's no better than anyone else around here. The entrees and pasta are alright. They are also nothing special but they at least are better than the pizza. For appetizers, Garlic Knots are pretty good, although do not get the fried calamari. Not worth the money at all. Overall this is a very meh joint. It gets bonus points being next to the Shop Rite and that's really the only reason to go here. There is places around.

We come here frequently for burgers, sandwiches, and Stromboli, and always love it! We have tried some dinners and salads, which were not the best. We will continue to come for their strong points.

Horrible. Was excited to eat here based in reviews. Dont bother. Bland, burnt, tough, just yuk! Ordered the calamari - tasted old and was tough. Was also this weird grayish color. Marinara has spices in it. This was tomato sauce. Chicken Parm sandwich - burned, chicken was flat, non discript and tough. Tasted horrible. Again, sauce - bllllllaaaaaaannnnnndddddd. I had them box up the other half of my sandwich and was feeling sick driving home; threw out the sandwich. Ill all night. Will not eat here again. Don't waste your money. We live this close to New York and you think THIS is Italian food?

I go at least once a week. The food is amazing and the pizza is always great. Service is always right on. Couldn't be happier. Everyone is always pleasant. Couldn't go to a better restaurant.

From NY- the sicilian slice was alright, my boyfriend didn't like his pepperoni slices very much. Garlic bread looks like a slice of cheese barely melted on a piece of bread. French fries had no salt. The waitress was nice but it took a little long for our appetizers to come. The place is pretty well kept, pretty clean.

Whenever I go grocery shopping at Kinsleys, I end up stopping at Spinelli's for pizza. They have some -really- -amazing- pizza. This is one of those little pizza shops that has nailed its segment and mission. Pizza shops with sides, sandwiches, and alcohol are a dime-a-dozen, but Spinelli's remembered to absolutely nail their pizza. The buffalo chicken pizza is absolutely to die for, as well as the white pizza. They also do bread knots (with garlic) and pastas. I do have to say that their eggplant parmesan is not worth it, but the rest of the food is amazing! If you have a chance, stop by and enjoy some of the best pizza in the area.

Attentive when we walked in; were seated right away. The waitress was nice enough. The food came in huge bowls. They were big servings of penne& meatballs & chicken marsala. They were both bland& sub par. We tried to save the chicken by dousing it in salt but it was inedible. We told the waitress who told the manager. When our bill came, they took $5 off for the bad chicken! I smiled& paid my bill and am grateful for the experience.

I have been back now a couple times and have brought home their pizza a few times too. It's well worth the trip there. They have a great Special on Monday & Tuesday, 2 appetizers 2 entrées - $20, good food and a real bargain.

First of I want to start by saying that the food is very good! They can easily get four stars if they put a little bit of focus on their efficiency and customer service. My husband and I ordered the garlic knots and jalapeño poppers for appetizers, both were very good ... the waitress asked if we wanted ranch however did not come back with it for about half hour. For my entree I ordered Chicken francaise and since they had gnocchi listed on their sides menu I told the waitress that instead of the pasta I would like the gnocchi. She looked confused and could not even pronounce the word and did not seem to know what it was. My husband ordered just a personal pan pepperoni pizza. Half hour after we finished our appetizers the waitress comes with his pizza and says my food should be right out. My husband being polite waits before eating his food. Half hour goes by and I still have not received my food, the waitress apologizes and says "Chicken takes longer to cook". Still being somewhat patient i tell my husband to go ahead an eat his pizza which by the way now is cold. I start picking at his pizza and it was pretty good. While we are sitting we notice a lady at another table is flipping out over her wine taking forever to be brought to the table. Next to us is a client who pre-ordered pizza to go on the phone and is getting antsy because she has been waiting half hour. The waitress once again comes back and does not have my food I ask her how much longer will it be and she says it should be right out and now says "they're really backed up in the kitchen". First of why would you serve my husbands food than? That's such poor etiquette. Ten minutes later the waitress comes back again and once again no food (now it has been an hour after my husband has received his), I tell her never mind with my food I no longer want it and just to get us the check, at this point the manager comes over apologizing and is not even sincere, she says "chicken takes longer to cook I'm sorry". Seriously?! As she's talking to me here comes the waitress with the food. OK so ! I get a plate of francaise chicken and a separate plate of gnocchi with mozzarella and sauce... WTF? I wanted gnocchi as a side to my francaise ... UGH whatever! I will admit both very very tasty however dipping gnocchi with tomato sauce in francaise sauce kind of killed what I was going for. At this point we see another customer walking out flipping out on the manager saying he just wants to pay for his drinks and is no longer waiting for his food. It was quite an entertaining restaurant I must say. The waitress comes back with the check and says they removed the gnocchi from the check. Seriously? I know it's not her fault but great service management. Once again the food is good ... but just put your patient hat on going to this place you will need it! I will not be returning!

Got the bacon burger and some pasta. Typical American food. Good enough restaurant/bar with portions to feed a country. I would go back for a drink or a meal. They also seem to have lots of weekday discounts!

Food is really good for the area. I'm from NJ and most pizza / Italian restaurants leave you wishing you were home. White pizza is great! Take out service is good. I have never sat down to eat but would like to do so one day. Until then I will continue to carry out.

I think the bad reviewer is on Mikes pizzas payroll. Spinellis kills it. Food is great and the service is fine. Born and raised in NY this is the closest to great NY pizza in the Monroe county area.

Everything that I have had here I love. Stombolis. Burgers, Eggplant Parm, a couple of other things that I cant remember the name. I want to say it was Chicken Spinelli or something like that. Very Tasty. We take my boyfriends grandson and he loves it. the staff is great and overall the service is good. however there is one girl very tiny short girl with curly hair. Very nice but not a waitress. No check after given food, no refills on drinks, have to find her to get the bill then pay the bill.

The sandwiches here are great! They are very generous portions and always great tasting. The first time I was here I got the chicken parm and was not impressed, hence the loss of a star. That was when they first opened so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Not only is the food amazing, the staff is wonderful as are the owners! Anyone with other than an exceptional review must be confusing Spinelli's with the place down the street. Even my 10 year old picky eater LOVES Spinelli's Brick Oven Pizza.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
