Diabetics at TGI Friday

If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.

Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:

Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. I read about Fritz's when I was in line at the DMV next door. The reviews looked good and I was ready for a snack, so I decided to give it a shot. Apparently their claim to fame is German sticky buns. Oooo sticky buns. I never get them because truly good and fresh ones are very hard to find, but here I was immediately all in. Their buns looked amazing! They have a few varieties too, topped with nuts, glazed, cinnamon, etc. Man these things were so good, and they only cost a buck or so! I was also pretty stoked to have been up sold on a container of optional butter cream which made for excellent dipping. Side note, I also picked up some butter cookies and they too were delicious, so these guys are not one hit wonders. Will definitely be back at Fritz's to sample more of the goods.

The staff is always helpful when suggestions are needed, orders are ready on time and accurately filled. The cinnamon buns are absolutely the best, with or without nuts and raisins - cream cheese icing is heaven in your mouth. The butter cake is to die for - I only get to treat myself on special occasions because I eat the whole thing myself! This is one of three locations - all are good...totally yummy!

OMG I cant say enough. Sticky bun heaven. Everything is soooooo good. My mouth is watering just thing about the nuts on top of the sticky buns with icing. If they had 10 stars it would be a 10. Croydon was the first bakery so I'm a huge fan since birth.

I had the pleasure of coming here to meet with the cake decorator for a custom tiered cake. She was absolutely wonderful and very talented! To boot the prices are VERY reasonable. The rest of the staff is very friendly and you won't wait long to be greeted. I have had their pastries multiple at different events and never had anything that wasn't fresh and delicious. Everyone in Bucks must come here at least twice!will update my review when I get my cake :)

Yay! I'm a fan is pretty much hitting it on the nail. I LOVE cinnamon buns, I have been one to sneak in an entenmann's one from wawa every now and then devouring in 2 seconds. Well Frit's is WAY better then Entenmann's. My boyfriend and I went on a rainy afternoon. We were shocked to see the place was empty. We had trouble deciding between the sticky buns and cinnamon rolls but decided to go with the cinnamon rolls with frosting. We brought them home, put it in the oven for like 5 minutes, took one bite and were transported to cinnamon roll heaven. There was a bit too much frosting but I'm always happy to see more of something then less of it, especially when I can just scrape it off. The rolls were delicious. We split one that day and another the next, fighting over who got the bigger piece. Next time I'm not sharing. We will be sure to try other things and post later.

Delicious! Not much more to say. Cream cheese topped cinnamon buns are decadent and fiendishly good. Well worth the sugar high and extra time on the treadmill. Thank goodness I have to drive a bit to get here or I would be in serious trouble.

I've only had the sticky buns here--they're too good to try the other options. Even if they aren't warm, they're really sweet and delicious, though they can get a little hard if you leave them out for too long. Popped into the toaster oven for a few minutes, they're wonderful. Great for when you're craving a sweet treat. They're just a little too rich and sweet for me to have often. Fritz's is also good for fundraisers!

I really like this bakery because they are not highway robbers! Their prices and portions are a good value for the money. I absolutely love their old fashioned cheesecakes - only $5.50 for a small. What a deal! Cinnamon Buns with cream cheese icing - these are fabulous! These rival Cinnabons at the mall, but are less expensive here! A MUST TRY!!! Now comes the bad....Butter cake - I have been eating butter cake from Philly my entire life, unfortunately the two bakeries I used to buy it from closed. Fritz's gooey recipe tastes very good but it is missing the cake bottom! It's all goo and should be called butter soup! There is NO CAKE. You have to eat this with a spoon or where a bib unless you refrigerate it and get it colder to thicken up. We bought five of them yesterday between the 3 of us and will never buy them again. I am on the hunt for a better butter cake! All in all, Fritz's Bakery is a good bakery to go to! The prices are good and I will continue to be a customer but not for your butter soup!

I'm not a real big fan of sticky buns but the rest if their selection is delicious. I absolutely recommend the buttercake... Sooooo good!!!

Sticky buns are incredible. Probably the best you can buy ... The cheese Danish along with the cinnamon buns with cream cheese icing were also very delicious and unlike any I've ever had. The crumb cake was pretty dry and lacked flavor and sweetness (odd since it appears loaded with cinnamon and sugar)

Absolutely amazing sticky buns. This place reminds me so much of the bakery donuts I used to eat as a kid and that special feeling of having a sweet for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The cream cheese icing is like a freaking cloud of awesomeness. I can't even find the words to properly convey how good this place is, so you should probably just go try them for yourself.

The sticky buns with the cream cheese icing are just amazing. The icing is rich and creamy yet simultaeously light and fluffy. The sticky buns themselves are buttery, flaky and literally-melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I had one for a late lunch and it was the best thing ever. They also have cakes, cannolis, and brownies here but the stickybuns are the items to get. Grab a dozen for ~$12 and an extra container of icing for $3. Your friends and/or family will be very grateful.

Best German Sticky Buns anywhere! Other stuff is pretty good (muffins, biscotti, mini-danish, cakes), but don't miss the stick buns!

  • Becca M.

Great german sticky buns! Love them! Also, the butter cookie trays are great to bring for a hostess gift. I often stop in to get a huge cherry or blueberry danish, but they have smaller sized danishes that are great for brunch too.

    Best sticky's ever!

  • Jack R.

The sticky buns are the well known item they serve, & justifiably so. They are the best around. But ya know what's even better? The BUTTER CAKE!! Without a doubt, the best thing they make. Sticky, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth-stop-your-heart-its-got-so-much-butter delicious!! If you want one, try calling ahead & ask them to hold one for you, 'cause they go FAST!!!

Fritz's Bakery claims to have the best sticky buns around. While I can't wholeheartedly claim that they are the greatest sticky buns on planet Earth, I can absolutely say that they are the best I have ever had. Fritz's offers a variety of sugary treats, in the style of any bakery. However, they far outshine the competition when it comes to quality and price. Their famed sticky buns come in an assortment of styles: plain, raisin, walnut, and sweet cream cheese. While the cream cheese topping may not sound so great at first, one need only to try a small bit of it to discover that it is one of the greatest icings ever devised by mankind. It is thick, creamy, and utterly delectable. If memory serves, a single sweet cream cheese iced bun costs $1.50 per bun. Their brownies also deserve an honorable mention. They are fairly large in size, about 6x3.5 inches, and these too are available plain, with peanut butter, with chocolate fudge icing, or with sweet cream cheese. They taste absolutely fantastic, and they will only run you $1.50 per brownie. The staff is always helpful, and they usually pick out the most fresh looking items to put in your bag. Fritz's Bakery has a few locations in the greater Philadelphia area, and I urge you to check them out. If you can't make the drive, don't fret; Fritz's website offers overnight shipping. Now you have no excuse for not eating their delightful buns.

I tried several of their sticky buns and I have to say that I was not disappointed. Thank goodness I shared them because it was hard to stop eating them. I also got a brownie with peanut butter icing and one with cream cheese icing. The brownies themselves could have been a little moister. The peanut butter icing was good, but a little grainy. Kind of reminded me of peanut butter cookie batter. Their cream cheese icing is stellar! They even sell small containers of it for 75 cents and it was well worth it! Keep in mind that they are closed on Mondays.
