Went for the prime rib and it missed the mark. My plate came out luke warm. Cheese was applied "fridge cold" onto my loaded mashed potatoes. I got a dirty feel from the restaurant side. All in all the staff was very friendly and stopped by the table often.

Cannot say how much I enjoy their BBQ wings!!! The Buckwild burger is my favorite with tater tots and a cola just is awesome. Wait staff is very friendly and atmosphere is also fun with various specials or bar games in the back . Very well done with layout of building ...... Amazing mojito's

Expensive. And only average in taste/quality. Don't look at anything on the menu but the burgers. Kids meals are a joke. The kids grilled chicken kabobs looked small enough to be fish bait on a hook.

A great place to stop in for a burger! Love the staff and the atmosphere. I come for round up and it's great as its next to the round up ground and all has a rockin party afterwards!

Great venue to watch your favorite sporting event or play electronic trivia with a group. Just be really really, (did I say really..) hungry if you plan to eat. Came here recently with five of us for dinner. The coconut shrimp served on a bed of undercooked rice with black beans was an adequate appetizer starter. The house salads were less desirable as some of the lettuce seemed as though they were picked thru the rabbit's cage with chunks of ends & browning leaf. The rest of the random veggie ingredients in the salad were satisfactory. The entrees ordered included rib-eye steaks that were mislabeled on the menu. They should have been called ground chuck steaks. These slabs of meat were flavorless, flat & tuff. Other entrees ordered included a Reuben sandwich that was indgestible, the meat was so old that we had to send it back to the pig trough. The chicken dinner salad was good & plentiful with slices of almonds, chicken breast pieces, various veggies.. The onion rings were overcooked & dripping with oil. We soaked them up with a handful of napkins prior to eating them so that our arteries would be happy. The tater tots were crunchy & delicious. The chocolate mousse cake w/fresh caramel sauce & sprinkled kosher salt crystals was a nice restaurant signature. Look, I get it. Small town USA, not a whole lot of business, cooking oils can't be changed out constantly, meats has to be used up rather than tossed out to control food costs, but when you are one of the newest, nicest venues in town, you have to maintain that level of expectations for your patrons. The 3 stars is based solely on atmosphere & the wonderful attentive service we received from the staff. They were welcoming & accommodating to our every sporting needs, even going the extra mile to offer a replacement for the failed Reuben. The multiple flat screens throughout the restaurant are nicely placed. The overall prices are reasonable. It appears the kitchen staff does not take as much pride in maintaining & mirroring the waitstaff. Ownership take note: change a few things and business will be bustling!

Wow, what a wild and crazy place, especially when the Round Up is on. A must when visiting the Rodeo.

Don't bring your kids here during the Pendleton Round up, they won't cook their kids menu during that week, and won't tell you until after you have ordered, so then your kids don't get to eat. Apparently they can't deep fry frozen mini corn dogs at the same time they are deep frying the rest of their frozen crap. But the summer ice drink was nice.

Macs Bar and Grill, at least the restaurant part of it, had really delicious food, and very quick and good service! Plus it had a nice hometown feel with all wood stained tables and side panelling. If the price was a couple of dollars cheaper, the food may have been more enjoyable, but honestly... They have the best tator totts on the planet!

Stopped here for a quick bite while on a road trip. The place was was busy with family and people enjoying the bar. Very new and modern inside with sports TV's everywhere. The staff was extremely nice, food was quick and quite delicious. I would defiantly stop here again!

Like the atmosphere and the staff is usually friendly... but had the chili cheeseburger and you could taste that the chili was old and burnt... not sure how many times it had been out in the cooler and reheated but it did not taste good... Also the burger was tough and you could tell it was a frozen burger. I was disappointed because I love a good chili cheeseburger and as far as I know they are the only place in town that has one on the menu.

Love the burgers and the fun rustic modern atmosphere. Not really a bar person but they always seem to be having a good time in there!

This was our first time in Pendleton... We wanted a place with good food, good atmosphere that wasn't overly priced. We got in fairly late on a Sunday night and was pleasantly surprised to see that Mac's was still open. We were greeted immediately. The staff was amazing....Kyle in particular. He was quick.... very personable and had great recommendations in terms of the menu and micro brews. We ordered a cheeseburger, sandwich and salad. The food greatly exceeded our expectations. In addition the restaurant was very clean. We will no doubt return to Mac's. THANK YOU GUYS!!!

As far as Pendleton goes this place is a diamond in the rough. There are very few places that my husband and I (with our big city tastes) enjoy in this town. I like the location, the ambiance, the rewards club, the decent food and drink selection, and the events that they put on. Trivia nights on Thursday is so much fun with friends. The selection of food isn't bad but the appetizers never fill that bar food hole in my stomach. Usually the meals leave a bit to be desired to. That said the food isn't bad; it doesn't wow but it doesn't make you sick. It's decent. The bar is clean and the service has it's ups and downs, as all customer service does. Sometimes it is awesome, sometimes you are shocked. It's a must try for a local or someone just passing through. Like I said, there isn't much else to enjoy in this town.

Decent food but very overpriced. The staff is usually ok but a few waitresses hate life so much it's hard to tolerate. That look like they smell something bad constantly on their face, not cool. The place also tries to advertise 32 t.v.'s but most are tiny and right next to each other above the bar and at an angle that is not conducive to the seating and watching the game. At a sports bar this seems very strange to me. Only a few good spots to watch the game and they never know what if any games are on and are limited to three receivers so with all those t.v.'s you only have 3 options of what to watch. All around it is a good idea but not done correctly

There are times in our lives were we create behaviors that become a staple in our weekly or regional travel routines. Mine is a walk, a walk to discover the undiscovered in the towns I travel to. Tonight's walk led me to a sign "Mac's Bar and Grill" and it didn't let me down. I took my seat at the bar and was immediately intrigued by the beers on draft. Although not as vast as what I'm am use to, their selection was diverse and on point. I had a Bruce Lee Porter from Prodigal Son Brewery, local and delicious. I then was driven to my purpose of the walk and dove into the menu. Pulled Pork, Burgers, Wings, Rueben, French Dip or should I behave and go for one of the 4 salads? Choices, choices, choices and exactly what should be expected from a bar and grill. I personally went for the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Tots. I place my order, ordered another Bruce Lee Porter and my food arrived. I was instantly impressed at the portion and quality of the food. My first bite was into a properly seasoned tot and it was on point. I continued by slicing the Pulled Pork Sandwich in-half and was instantly looking for napkins, as this sandwich split at the seam. After properly prepping myself I took a bite and this pulled pork sando satisfied. I must profess that whenever I try a new restaurant and see a pulled pork sandwich on the menu, it is my restaurant food barometer. How is the flavor? Is it house pulled? Is it house roasted/smoked? Boom, boom, boom!!! This pulled pork satisfied each. Flavor: sweet with a little spice. House pulled: Ummmm yes, there was effort here. No large chunks and unwarranted pieces of fat. House Roasted/Smoked: honestly I am not sure, but I'm leaning on the roasted side. Either way it was moist and flavorful. On top of that, properly dressed with fresh coleslaw. Needless to say, I was stoked and for 10 bucks, seriously excited. After getting a picture for the food, let's talk ambiance, if this is what your looking for. Let's just say if a 50s Diner crashed into a Bar & Grille, you would have Mac's! With the timely rumble of the trains passing to the south and the Pendleton Round-Up Grounds to the north, this place has a little bit of energy. This energy is not missed with the service at Mac's. Although strapped with a large bar section, Kyle (bartender) was attentive at the bar, while still tending with his tables. He was running the vast majority of the night, but never failed to check in with me at the bar. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I understand that it is very difficult to tend bar and wait on multiple tables, at the same time. Kyle tended to all of us in an professional manner. I am thoroughly satisfied that this walk for the undiscovered turned up with Mac's Bar & Grill. Cheers! Oh and on a locals tip given to me at the bar tonight: "Rueben"!

Food is just average bar cuisine. Everything is fried, which is fine but it was overly greasy. I'd give the food four stars because I wasn't expecting fine dining and my dad liked his prime rib sandwich. Steer away from the turkey, ranch and Swiss they forgot the ranch...the three stars comes from the service which gets a single star. Our waitress must have been new because she didn't even bring us silverware for the salad. I don't mind bad service because I'm not paying for that, but let your guests know your new so your tip is better. We had to ask for the check because she left us there so long and then a different waitress working brought it to us...overall just decent, I don't live here but I won't come back if I'm in town.
