Every other day of the week but tuesdays they would earn 3 stars from me. They have very limited food choice and half the things listed on their menu they dont even serve anymore, no more pizza, they run out of their nachos all the time, their burgers are usually pink and have to be taken back to cook more, everything is $10 and up a person...not my go to place except tuesdays, which is taco tuesday, 1.00 soft tacos or .75 hard tacos, seasoned meat, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes with a side of salsa and sour cream. In my opinion they are delicious, my boyfriend and I go every tuesday! Service wise, they are truly horrible, slow, forget everything and never come back to check on you unless Michaela is working. She is wonderful, always makes sure we get the best service we could have, she knows our order every time we come in, checks on us all the time, and even will take over our table if she sees that someone else is not giving us great service. Taco tuesday is usually beyond packed and so they were last night, Michaela you could tell was very busy and rushed (only server working and the others were off in the bar chatting up a storm) and she still made sure we had great service, and even apologized in the end for not having maybe the most cheerful smiley attitude but she was not rude by any means. I wish our tips went directly to the server and not split up because we would leave her a much bigger tip.

Fail! Soooo sloooow. Place was empty yet took damn near an hour to get two breakfast plates. I wanted to get up and leave after 20 min, but kept thinking it would still take longer to drive, order, and receive food elsewhere. WRONG

I love this place! The decor is so much fun and I feel like I am stepping into a little ole ghost town. It's very rustic with log furniture and lots of country ambiance. It's very country. The food...the food...the food..... Well, I will start with my favorite. Their burgers!!! Their burgers are all big, fat and juicy. They come with a plethora of toppings and the pretzel bun is amazing! Their fries are good, catfish is good and their pulled pork was fantastic. I definitely think this is the best burger in the OC. Their breakfast is better than average, and I have never had anything bad. However, I haven't had something that I NEED to have again like I have at other places. But.....with that said, I NEED another burger from this joint. My mouth is watering as I write this. I guess it's time for a return trip to Kissin' Kates! Simply Put..... The pros: Ambiance, Price, Portions, Burgers, Staff The cons: Lame Happy Hour and drinks are not that great

Just found this place and it was delicious. Took the kids for breakfast and the food was really good - the tri tip hash was very good and the service was great and patient with kids. Tess was our waitress and she was a gem. The only improvement they could make is just to get the food out a little faster as the kids get restless waiting but overall it was a good experience!

I am happy to update this review. I love country cafes, always have, always will. This time, our service was just as good as before, if not friendlier as our server remembered us from last week. Michaela is a sweetheart. I would say that if you are looking for a quick meal this is not the place to go. They take their time with larger orders, so expect to relax a while before your food arrives. Our food was not unpleasantly late this time. I asked about the burgers, since my first one was so well done it was almost burnt. Our server informed us that they will cook to order, but you have to ask. I will try another one next time and be sure to ask for rare. I learned that they smoke most of their meats in house. This time was a much better experience food wise. We tried the Tri-Tip Hash, the Blueberry Pancakes, their version of the Club Sandwich, and their Mozzarella Sticks. (Some other dishes are in my last review). I was very excited to try the Mozzarella Sticks. The menu states that they are hand breaded in house. Our server confirmed this. They were awesome. I usually avoid them at other places. I know that they almost always come out of a frozen bag, and taste awful. These were so crunchy, with a large amount of creamy mozzarella seeping out. They were dusted with Parmesan and served with marinara. These were special, order them if you love deep fried cheese. The sticks are very large, and very filling. They are worth every penny, and definitely a highlight. They forgot the cheese on the Tri-Tip hash, but it was not missed. The smoky tri-tip was chewy but delicious. The eggs were cooked over medium, though they were requested over easy. It was pretty good. The Blueberry pancakes were huge, not only large but very fluffy. The blueberries were sparse, but the pancake was so fluffy. I would like a bit more salt in the batter, but overall, they were awesome. You can switch out toast for pancakes with any breakfast, even blueberry pancakes, for a small charge. The Club Sandwich was traditional with the exception of fresh avocado and pesto-sun dried tomato mayo. The club was great. I would order it with regular mayo in the future. I did not like the sun dried mayo at all. The avocado was so abundant and fresh. I will certainly be back, and most likely become a regular. Edit 8/14/2015 - Our last few visits were not so great. The food quality and the way it is prepared semms to be declining. We do not go as often as we use to. Let's hope it gets better.

Tried this place repeatedly...... Have yet to have a good experience! Back off on the grease! My breakfast was ordered hard n DRY, that means no oil in the scrambled eggs please. N the hash browns look plastic they're so greasy. I gave the kiddos some of the eggs n they said they didn't like the taste n no thank u. But they DID PICK OUT THE HAM CHUNKS. They also LOVED the white toast with jelly. Then the ticket came back being over charges by $5. Had to get mgr to fix problems. He said maybe I just don't like the way they cook...... U DECIDE

Ate breakfast there this morning .... very good food and service , i had biscuits and gravy and a sausage patty everything was home made and sausage patty was hand pressed .... coffee cup was never empty .... hadnt been in here for years , new mgmt has cleaned it up , and improved it alot .... I will be back
