If you didn't know it was there, you'd miss it entirely. Located in a old garage down a gravel road sits a lovely little barbecue joint. Where the portion size is huge, you'll need a to-go box just about every time. Service is good, food tastes great. BBQ Sauce is good, but not original.

Awesome eats in a crazy building. I'll knock off one star for occasionally slow service.

If your in The'Quah and looking for Barbecue, THIS IS IT!!! This little hole-in-the-wall place is the very best in town! (And we have some great places) It's one of those small, off the road, hidden places that doesn't advertise much but they don't need to! I think their ribs are the best but they also have a "Badwich" that is awesome! You will not leave hungry! There is no diet food here, no salads, no wraps, Etc. So if she doesn't like good barbecue leave the wife at home! ;-) Simply great Bar-B-Que at a great price!

Really really really good. Ribs and brisket were great, sides were ok. It's a dive of a building but really good.

Very hard to find. It is back, behind storage sheds and looks like a garage with no sign indicating what it is. Inside, it is in fact a converted garage, which I have no problem with. Looks like a BBQ place inside. Our first waitress (young girl) was thoroughly unpleasant. She acted as if it was a complete waste of her time that we walked in. After our meal was served an older lady kept checking back with us. She definitely made up for the first gal so, I guess service was a wash. I got the 3 meat dinnee. Ribs were tasty. Good smoke flavor, moist and tender with the perfect amount of tug with each bite. Beans were OK. Kind of a cross between a BBQ and a Cowboy style. Cole slaw was unremarkable; Reminded me of grocery store deli or KFC. Loved the Texas toast. Hot links were quite tasty; Loved the tat they scored the links several times before cooking which gave great flavor. The pulled pork was very disappointing Moist, but absolutely no flavor; not even a trace amount of smoke. Very generous portions. Took the remainder home which my oldest teenager promptly ate. Definitely not the worst BBQ I've had in Tahlequah, but I would chose the chain store Rib Crib over Fish's in the future.

A little off the beaten path dive with great bbq! My husband and I will order the combo plate to split. Wonderful ribs, a generous serving of sliced smoked beef and a hot link along with curly - Q fries and bbq beans make a great dinner for 2! Save room for a little dessert because the home made apple dumplings are very good!

Ate here because a few people I spoke with said this was the best BBQ in Tahlequah. We were not impressed with the food. I guess they forgot to add flavor that day. Nothing special here. I hope that Tahlequah has better bbq than this. The search continues.

Stopped in for lunch today around noon. This place is hard to find if you don't know where to find it. There's no sign and you have to go down a dirt road to get there. It was a good sign that when you pull up to the building you can see the smoker cooking. I had the sliced brisket plate with beans and curly fries and my father tried the hotlinks. They give you a lot of food. The brisket was tender and moist and was very good. The hotlink was HOT but had a good flavor. Beans and fries were ok. The sauce is a little sweet but good. The service is great. Best Q I've had in a long time.

It doesn't get any better than Fish's for BBQ. The portion size of the sandwich is ample for a small horse, or large person and the sauce is perfect. They have a hotter sauce but you have to ask. Seating can be a little tight but not to bad. If this is a first date and you want something romantic, you picked the wrong place

The RIBS are MAGNIFICENT! Everything else is just "great bbq", but the ribs are melt-in-your-mouth smokey and flavorful. They only have ONE dessert: APPLE DUMPLING! another OMG dish. You don't need to choose from anything else anyway because it is so gosh-darned delicious. One apple baptized in butter and cinnamon and wrapped in a pastry crust. Save room for that (if you can - good luck)! It's also fun that the restaurant in an old garage. There is no foot traffic and it's out of the way. If you don't know where it is, you will never bump into it (unless you are lost and driving down a dead-end gravel road). It's like a top-secret treasure at the end of the rainbow. The picture of the building with the roll-up door and no sign is totally accurate. The inside is decorated with road signs bear skins, taxidermied animals, and antlers. The prices are pretty good too: under $20 per plate for a mountain of food that you will not be able to finish. This is my FAVORITE place to eat when I am visiting the family. Next time I go, I am JUST ordering the ribs a-la-carte (any thing else just takes up precious room in my tummy that should be reserved for ribs) and the apple dumpling.

One of the best BBQ places around. The building used to be a garage and it's kind of easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. I always order the ribs and curly fries. The helpings are really large and I always need a to-go box. This place is sometimes understaffed and can get really busy so the service isn't always up to pay, but the food is definately worth the wait! I would recommend this place to anyone!

This place looks like an automobile repair shop on the outside. But on the inside, is one of the best "mom & pop" BBQ places I've found in Oklahoma. I had the combo which included beef ribs, brisket, pulled pork, hot links, Texas toast, baked beans, curly fries, pickles, onions- the works. It was all outstanding BBQ. Service was great. If you are looking for good BBQ, this place is a real gem in Tahlequah.
