We recently moved to Norman from south Texas and were looking for a good Mediterranean restaurant for family take out nights and this one definitely hit the spot. We ordered the family kabob meal with half steak and half chicken kabob's, the potato salad, roasted veggies and basil pesto hummus. Let me start by saying the steak kabob's were AMAZING! The four of us each had one with dinner and my husband had the one left over one for breakfast the next morning and it was just as tender and juicy even being heated up in the microwave. My only complaint was that you had to pay $1.00 extra per each kabob, which in my opinion was over priced as the family meal was already $40.00. The chicken kabob's were good, flavorful, juicy, just not quite as good as the steak. The potato salad and roasted veggies were definitely good, my 4 year old son couldn't get enough of the mushrooms or carrots from the veggies. And the Greek salad was amazing as well. One of the few Greek salads I've had in the last 10 years that I felt had enough feta and enough kalamata olives, not to mention the addition of chard was divine. I also loved that they didn't dress the salad and instead sent the dressing in a separate container so the leaves didn't wilt. The basil pesto hummus was good, but definitely tasted more like a watered down pesto than a true hummus. Over all I give this place 4 stars, it was amazing, we will definitely be back if just for the steak kabob's and I do suggest you give it a try if there is a location near you!

I got take out here and they were very speedy. I got the roasted red pepper hummus with pita bread and a Greek salad no cheese. The portions were really large and enough for two people. The hummus was really good and spicy. The manager is always very friendly and helpful. I've also had the chicken salad sandwich and potato salad before. I love the potato salad because it's made without mayo or mustard. It's my favorite restaurant potato salad. Great healthy place to eat!

I have always done pick-up orders, which is easy with their online system. You can separate everyone's order by name, add or remove ingredients, and choose sides. They have a great track record on our orders so far. The steak kabobs are my favorite by far. You wouldn't think a cafe chain would have great steak, but theirs is tops. The chicken is good too, but once you have the steak, it's over. For vegetarians, the veggie kabob is also a smash. Roasted vegetables, potato salad, pasta salad, slaw, and Greek salad are all tasty side options (I haven't tried what's left) and our family usually orders a pint or a quart of the hummus and orzo tabouleh to share. We received complimentary slices of Yaya's Handmade Chocolate Cake when an order took longer than they'd estimated (which has only happened once), and that too was delicious and not filled with your standard slew of preservatives. As I said, I have always ordered to-go, but the cafe always looks clean and welcoming. If you or your family are on-the-go and need a quick meal, Zoe's is not as cheap as McDonald's or Taco Bell, but it is exponentially more flavorful, healthful, and of higher quality than anywhere cheaper with the same speedy service.

Simple and good. I had the Greek salad with chicken. It was big enough for too meals. Staff was very nice. Great lunch spot for something not too heavy.

This was my first time to try Zoes. I've never heard of this place before, but I'm pretty sure it is a chain restaurant. Anyways, I was in the area and hungry but wanted to eat something fairly healthy being pregnant and all so, thought I'd try them. I had a Greek salad which came with mixed salad greens, some banana peppers, kalamata olives, grape tomatoes, and a TON of feta cheese. The salad tasted not as fresh as I would have liked for it to taste, and the cheese was overkill. They leave their signature Greek salad dressing out on the tables so, people can dress their salad as little or as much as they want, but I don't know how sanitary or safe it is for a condiment to just sit out at room temp for several hours if not all day or longer. Usually, when I buy dressing it says, 'refrigerate after opening' on the bottle so, I have no idea, just doesn't seem like that's normal to me. I give three stars for being a clean casual fastfood restaurant, and because their ginormous chocolate chunk cookie tastes pretty good. I may or may not come back.

We've given this one a few more chances and it's growing on me more and more. Here are my tips for getting more out of it. Use the order online feature or the Zoe's app, then you can just drive up and pick up. If you have a family, definitely do one of the family meals deals. You seem to get a lot more for your money that way. All together the food is fresh and healthy. There are few places around where you can get a quick meal to take home to the family that feels this fresh and good for you. Who knows... Give me a few more months and I may come back and give this one a 5.

I like the concept of Zoes Kitchen. It makes Mediterranean food more accessible in an appealing way. Do not be fooled however because a lot of their menu items are very high in fat and calories. I had the salad and hummus plate thinking that it would be somewhat healthy, and it is, if you eat hardly any of the hummus. Otherwise it's 850 calories. Their pita bread was pretty good though. I would say avoid coming during the lunch hour because it was completely packed! Seems like a better place to get something to go instead.

Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Decor & Style: 5/5 Great place to grab a quick bite. This is a non-waiter/server restaurant. Food comes fast and they deliver it to your table. I had the Chicken Kabob with grilled veges. The food is tasty but nothing super special. It is probably the best fast-food mediterranean place! However, it sits right next to Chipotle in which I prefer most of the time :)

After several visits to Zoe's, they've dropped the ball. A different manager was working yesterday when I picked up a big order and though she was careful to make sure there was no cheese in one salad, we didn't get any dressing in mine and my daughter got a vinaigrette, not the normal dressing that comes with a quinoa salad. Also, I'm almost positive there was a small piece of steak in mine. I add the veggie kabobs with mushrooms to my salad and I bit into something with a weird texture that tasted similar to the mushrooms but I had to chew it longer and by the time I realized it was steak, I had swallowed most of it. I'm not sure if it was the thought of eating meat or the meat itself, but I was sick all night. A vegetarian/mostly vegan doesn't want to eat meat. Also, she didn't act thrilled at my request to put 2 orders in a different sack because they were going to a different house. I'm not sure I'll be back.

Zoe's has healthy food that's good and good for you. I love the steak kabobs but the hummus has a little too much garlic for me.

I love Mediterranean food! It's probably my favorite type of food ever, and I love the idea of this place making my favorite food fresh and fast. However, I was just not in love with this place. Maybe I should chalk it up to the fact that we stopped here literally an hour before I headed to the airport to head back east - and as we sat down my husband called to tell me I would be coming home to him deathly ill with the flu. That could ruin the mood for food.... Anyways. I ordered with Orzo Tabouli salad. Should I get hung up on the fact that it was spelled TABOULI instead of TABOULEH? Is one more correct than the other? Is one more Americanized and less appealing to me that way? I don't know - I suppose I am turning into some sort of Food snob. Add all of that together, and I guess I just wasn't feeling my meal. The place was clean, quiet, and the food absolutely looked and tasted fresh. The staff behind the counter were pleasant and prompt. Our meals were brought to us quickly, and the atmosphere pleasant. When we tried to clean up after oursevles (Not knowing they bus the tables), the manager came over and insisted he take care of it. It's definitely a step up from a Panera in that regard. I would come back again and try something else. Just a few other things to mention... 1. The limeade is fresh-squeezed but tasted like a cleaning product 2. I question the placement of out-door seating on the side of the restaurant. My visit was in January so no one was outside, but this is Oklahoma where the wind whips up pretty good, and the seating area looks to be a giant wind tunnel. Those umbrellas look like they won't last very long. Maybe it's not that bad - just an observation/question for my inquisitive brain.

This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Norman right now! I know its a chain and there are probably more authentic Mediterranean/Greek places out there, but I'm impressed with Zoe and her Kitchen. They have a good variety of stuff, but I've gotten the chicken kabobs both times I've been. It comes with two kabobs filled with chicken/grilled veggies, a salad, rice pilaf, and a few pieces of pita bread. All for about $8. Very filling and very good! I've never been when it's absolutely packed, but from my experiences they have very quick service! Can't wait to go back! Maybe I'll try something new...but probably not ;)

First of all I wanted to give this 5 STARS so bad, and maybe I will re-write this when I get the experience that I have had at every other Zoe's across the country that I have been to. The food is FANTASTIC, but not sure worth the 45 min wait that I had to endure at 6:30pm on a normal Thursday evening. There wasn't even a line of people which I could have understood if they were slammed, but they were not. And as I stood there waiting by the counter for my to-go order for 45 mins.. I saw not one but 3 orders come back wrong from dine in customers. Just saying, it could have been a fluke and I hope it was.. but they need to work on their service! Plus when I got my food back home to OKC, another 45 min drive home.. I was soooo excited to have my GRUBEN sandwich and they put lettuce on the sandwich instead of the Zoe's slaw that it calls for. I've had this so many times I know exactly how it should taste. It is one of their infamous Zoe's favorites. If I lived even within 20 minutes of the places I would have driven back up there.. I was so disappointed. If they can get their act together, then I have a numerous list of things to try: GRUBEN Greek Chicken Pita Protein Power Plate Zoe's slaw Pasta Salad ALL amazing and should always be good no matter where you are! Hope Norman can get their act together because if they do well there then most likely the city has a better chance of getting one as well.

There is one of these back in Charlotte and I've seen them other places as well, but I finally took the plunge and ate at the one in Norman. I wasn't really sure what to expect. The name Zoë makes me think of a vegan/super healthy person. I don't know why, but I think many people do some name associations like that. I perused the menu for a few seconds and settled on the Chicken kabobs. The chicken was very tender and juicy, not dry like grilled kabobs can be. It was served over a bed of sticky plump brown rice and a side salad. I slid the meat and onions off the skewer, loaded the salad up with the dressing on the table and went to town eating the chicken over the salad. I was expecting table service for some reason, but I'm OK with counter service where you get a number and they run the food to you. I'm just so clumsy I hate carrying food myself if I don't have to. The restaurant was nicely full for a lunch time. I didn't have to fight for a table, but there were enough people where you could tell it would have good food. Although it's a chain, I will definitely add this to my place for a good quick work lunch.

I've been to this place before and loved the food, especially the steak kabobs, so I came for them with some friends. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed. The food was not fresh as stated on their menu, the meat was dry and obviously reheated.

I've been out of town since this place opened. Boy have I been missing out. The steak kabobs were out of this world. Fresh ingredients and well prepared. I'll be back

This place was great, and the customer service was just amazing. We love the decor, and the food was super fresh and tasty. The price, however, was a little expensive for the Chipotle-style atmosphere.

So went to Zoes Kitchen on a tip from my daughter, I've always been a sucker for a good Greek salad. Zoes Kitchen did not disappoint. Friendly and helpful staff explained the menu with a cheerful demeanor and smile. I got the Chicken Greek Pita and my man the Hummus Trio plate. Both were very good. The general manager Rod came by and checked on us as well, he was super friendly and very proud of his restaurant. Highly recommend and definitely will return. Thank you Zoes Kitchen staff!!

Great place, opening day lunch, great choices for salads, wraps, sandwiches. Tossed Greek salad was fantastic, interesting twists with subtleties of added pepperoncinis, pasta, potato salad with traditional Greek chicken salad. Lightly dressed but plentiful bottles of Zoe's dressing available. Looking forward to my next return trip!
