We drove by the night before and noticed a lot of cars in the lot. That is usually a good sign, so we went back on a Friday night for dinner. I'm glad we did. It's excellent Mexican dishes, I had the chile relleno & chicken enchilada while the wife had chicken quesadillas w/frijoles y rice. Both entrees were large enough that we had to box them up to go after we got full. Prices are reasonable. You get what you pay for! I rarely give any place 5 stars but easily could have on this one. Just leaving room for improvement.

Came here on a visit to Oklahoma and I am in love! This place may not look like much but looks are deceiving. The food is wonderful, the staff is attentive, and the prices are excellent. I highly recommend eating here and will be back on my next visit to Oklahoma.

Good food, good staff. Not a bad price. Food changes with the cook, but even on bad days, the food is pretty good.

Wowza! This was some of the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. And trust me when I tell you that I know good Mexican food. I live in San Antonio and when you live two hours North of Mexico, you know Authentic Mexican when you see it. I ordered our food "to-go" and warned the man on the phone that my husband wanted a BIG burrito as he was very hungry and could eat an entire hippo. What my husband received was a burrito enough for 4 people (see attached photo) crammed full of tender flank steak, grilled onions, sour cream, bell peppers and covered in a warm, tasty queso sauce. It was without a doubt, the most wonderful thing we'd both ever laid eyes on. I skipped my food and ate his. I decided to order the carne asada tacos which are basically corn tortillas with flank steak, fresh white onion and cilantro. They were delicious! They came with lime which is a HUGE deal for me and a spicy, yet good, red sauce. I usually like mine with green sauce but red did the job just fine. Guacamole was just the way I like it. Chunkified with tomatoes, onions, cilantro and lime juice. The chips were crisp and hot and didn't break when I dipped them in my guac'. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the food and have officially added this place to my "top 5" list of Mexican joints. Carlitos, I love you!

Came here with some friends for a day out and was really impressed with the food quality and prices. The cheese sauce with the chips was not my favorite, but the rest of my meal was delicious. The service was prompt and there was not a wait during lunch on a Saturday. We will definitely be back. I had the cheese tacos with rice and beans on the light portion and I left full, without a sick tummy. That is saying a lot for me and mexican food!

This is your run of the mill texmex but they have a secret gem. Their chili rellano is to die for!!! It is the best, hands down.

I've been going to Carlito's since I was a little kid. For as long as I've been going here, I have never been disappointed. The food is great and the service is always wonderful. I've heard other people say that it's not authentic Mexican food, and they'd be right. I have had authentic Mexican food, and this place has Americanized it you could say. That's not to say it's not good, because it is delicious. The rice is to die for! Just don't go overboard on the chips and queso or else you won't have enough room for your actual meal. And, at the end of every meal, you get one of those deep fried desserts covered in cinnamon and sugar. (The name is escaping me at the moment.) A few years ago the owners added an expansion which includes a bar. I've never used it, but it always looks well stocked. Not to mention they have HD TVs set up around the restaurant airing various stations. I could go on and on. Like I said, I've been going there since I was a kid. One little tip, go in between the rush hours. You'll get better service, better seating, and usually fresh hot queso.

Been once before and none of us enjoyed our meal. Sub par mexican food for what you pay. Won't be back.

Good place to eat as long as they are NOT busy. If they are busy the service goes out the window. Don't recommend going here if your after a good tecate either, glasses are never frozen when we go. Bartenders are slacking. Over all though, good food.
