Had breakfast there and it was delicious. Portions were huge, food was hot, and the service was great. Our orders consisted of meat lovers omlettes, chicken fried steak and eggs, hash browns, home fries, biscuits, a blt and fruit. It was all great. We will definitely be back.

Last Sunday Morning: Upon entering I stood by the door for ten minutes, a sign declaring "please wait to be seated" my only companion. Multiple waitresses saw me, but there glazed-over look of terror and desperation quickly darted away, in the hopes I might just leave. Well, I'm on a mission to yelp every restaurant in Enid, so they were SOL. When I was finally seated (by a lady who told me I could sit "wherever") I quickly realized the table and restaurant in general was pretty dirty. I'm sorry to report that all I'm hearing is people complaining about their cold food, missing items, and long wait. My waitresses was very nice, but you could tell she was completely overwhelmed and spent more time apologizing to her tables than anything else. She explained to me that she did not have any silver wear to give me, because they were out of clean utensils- I feel for her, but not something you say to a customer. Now they are shouting at each other from the open kitchen, and I think the manger just gave up and stormed out the door. But hey, my waitress was quick on my juice and hot chocolate... Which is all I've had for 45min... Wonder if the cups were cleaned? Pancakes were bad, and everything else was inedible. I gave the waitress a big tip in hopes that she can find a less awful place to work. Bottom line: how does this place even stay open?

Sitting here during lunch at 12:15 (Back in October 2014) with eight elderly couples. The only things I hear are cooking, staff talking and manager complaining and pretending to be a big shot. No music and no tv. This place is like a funeral home...dead! I eat at other Jimmy's Eggs all over the state and this one isn't necessarily the worst, but close to it! Hey manager...get a tv over the bar and turn up music...or sing a song!

Possibly the worst breakfast I've had in Enid in seven years. A few points. 1. Understaffed for a busy Veterans Day breakfast rush (2 servers, 2 cooks, and another lady I'm not sure what she was doing). 2. we waited a very long time for breakfast 35 minutes for breakfast is way too long. 3. The food, eggs under cooked, pancakes over cooked ( how do you jack up pancakes?) my wife had the chicken fried steak, it was flatter than my two pancakes, and....overcooked. Sausage overcooked. Our coffees saw the bottom of the cup numerous times. I got up and got a set of silverware so I could attempt to choke down some burnt pancakes and runny eggs. Save your money don't go here. If you want a crappy breakfast and poor service they are here. Go to ihop in this town. That your only bet for a halfway decent breakfast meal.

I most likely will not return! The oatmeal they brought wouldn't melt butter. My piece of wheat toast (was supposed to be homemade white) was the same and it came half way through the meal. My bacon never showed up and my friend had to beg for coffee all 3 times he needed a refill. We demanded a reduction in the bill, received a $5 credit and removed all the items we never received or had to beg for! The worst thing... There where 7 employees on the floor and 5 tables, (11 customers)

Nothing quite like a restaurant which serves breakfast for lunch. Not my thing, but being out with family who could have breakfast food four meals a day, I let them take the reins on this run. After all, breakfast and lunch means there's a decent lunch menu, right? I'll start with the positive parts of my visit here in the interest of generosity. The turkey melt was honestly pretty good. Excellent fresh baked bread, turkey and bacon that weren't paper-thin cuts, and a satisfyingly filling sandwich overall. That's it for the positive. So where do I go from here? Beverages. I get coffee knowing quite well that I'm not going to be impressed, nor am I disappointed in my presumption. Yes, I am a coffee elitist. Still, some days mediocre coffee is better than no coffee. My mug is fine, but mom had the worst luck with a mug that had a rather unpleasant ring of coffee gunk halfway down, almost as if a mug had escaped the confines of dish washing and escaped to the table once more. The waitress was nice enough, but it was a bit difficult to catch her a couple of times. She also neglected to mention that since mom had ordered something that included a biscuit and gravy, of course the biscuit and gravy-like water would come separately about ten minutes later. Meanwhile, my curly fries were impressive in how utterly unimpressive they were. Reasonably warm but definitely not piping hot, no particular spring to them, no particularly good seasoning, and basically nothing that would have me distinguish them from if someone had run out to Arby's on the west side of town and driven back to pour them on a plate aside from simply not being as good as aforementioned fast food fries. Were this a review based solely upon my experience, I'd say this was a pretty decent breakfast joint. My own food was more good than bad, the service was nice enough and covered my needs fine, and nothing was seriously out of place. Trouble with that is, my mom had an unpleasant experience. She had even mentioned she had a few of these problems the last time she had visited. Naturally, her desire to give it another chance was based heavily on her fondness for breakfast food. As much as she enjoys the food when it is done right, she was given a difficult time that just left a bad taste in my mouth that a turkey melt isn't going to cover. Short end is the visit was horrid, but the main part of my meal was genuinely good enough that I would offer that second star for getting one significant part correct, but I'd much rather suffer these annoyances myself than see my mom go through a bad breakfast meal. Unwashed mug, late biscuit and gravy, terrible gravy, she just had trial after trial. It's a shame, really. The location is convenient, the menu works out well, and there's enough potential. It's just not happening and I don't see it happening in the future. This one is a write-off even for a chain restaurant.

To start the service is horrific, no refills in 45mins on water or coffee. Waited forever on food and then it wasnt very good at all. Im not sure how you could screw up an omelette but they did. Our server Robin had a very rude personality, and would just ignore us when we tried to wave her down for anything. The staff is always talking among themselves instead of taking care of their guest. Worst service ive had in a long time, im a heavy tipper because ive worked in the restaurant industry for several years but for once this service deserves no tips.

Apparently not allowed to customize the meal how I like it... Service here is terrible almost each morning will not be returning for a while.

This place has potential! Nice decor and comfy seats but the wait staff is the worst. They always seem new and don't have a clue! Our "new" waitress kept forgetting our drink order then food order. Surrounding customers were getting mad at receiving the same bad service. Then our waitress started telling customers she had a traumatic brain injury during her military service which is why she is forgetful. Of course, we felt bad for her but awkward! The one customer called over a manager and he didn't seem to care or offer a discount for bad service. I have liked the breakfast dishes had there (corn beef hash and biscuits/ gravy yum) but sick of bad/awkward service.

Worst breakfast food I've ever eaten, gave me cold over medium eggs and I asked for over hard... Gave me old cold burnt bacon... Didn't give my mother hashbrowns with her meal like she asked and the waitress argued with her after my mother asked why she didn't get any. I'd write more but this place isn't worth anymore words. Go to IHOP hell McDonald's has better food.

This has been a Sunday mid morning go to place for us when we get out and about. As of this date 11/4/12, it seems that the staff are all new and are not keeping up with the Sunday rush. People around us are complaining of cold food or having waited 30 min with no food delivered. It took 45 min for part of our order to arrive, and it was wrong. We had to ask for the rest of our order by the time we finished what they had brought us. And... they had a 12 year old girl busing tables, working the cash register, and cleaning the floor with her hands. We'll not be going back.

Ate at Jimmy's on our recent visit to Enid. Service was ok the server did try hard although she didn't know the menu and rang our order up wrong which cost more. Nothing much but she should have know an ham and cheese omelette was on the menu. My wifes eggs were over done thus a 3-star and not a 4-star, breakfast should be easy to get right. It's tough to find a place in Enid for breakfast. Restaurant appeared clean and timeliness of the service was average. Of the two breakfast spots we ate at Jimmys Egg would be far and away the best. I would give them another chance when we find ourselves there again. Couldn't find the local restaurant that just did everything right in Enid.

Some of the worst food I've eaten. Took forever to get the food which made no sense because it wasn't busy. Food arrived cold and flavorless. My sister ordered eggs and bacon. She got two over done eggs and one piece of bacon. Pathetic. My eggs were cooked ok but my pancakes were cold and tough. Skip this place and try something else.

A couple years ago I ate here for the first time. I truly believed I was in breakfast heaven. In late 2012 I really wanted to bring my boyfriend to try what I still thought was the best breakfast I've ever had. I made sure to brag about the great service and amazing, hot food. When we came in and sat down, I also was over-complimenting the design of their menus they had out. It wasn't very busy when we were there and I thought it was very strange since the last time I was there (a couple years back) that building was packed! The waitress who was supposed to be asking us for drinks let us sit there a good ten minutes upon sitting down to actually ask us if we wanted something, which of course also threw me off. Then I started noticing how testy she was when we were attempting the simple task of ordering. We then waited thirty minutes for our food and only my boyfriend's meal came out. She kept telling me excuse after excuse of why my chicken wasn't being cooked yet. I waited another ten minutes and finally got my meal and it wasn't even warm. The waitress took it upon herself to make excuses instead of just apologizing for the long wait. My boyfriend was not impressed with his food either and I was just ready to leave... As you can imagine, I was embarrassed and felt like total crap for making him think we could actually have a nice breakfast but oh the irony.. Now thanks to this experience, we will not be returning to Enid's Jimmy's Egg.

Being a displaced Texan, this is my first and only experience at a Jimmy's Egg. Corporate interiors and scary looking waitstaff greet you as you arrive... but the food more than makes up for it. The Biscuit Debris is ridiculously good, and the homemade bread is also pretty good. Did I mention this place is CHEAP!?!? $5 to $6 for most breakfast plates, and I almost always take food home. NOTHING will beat the french toast and the creepy locals at Wee Too... but this is a good place to take visitors that may not be ready for a true Enid local dining experience.

One of the best places to eat in Enid, which makes me kind of sad. We've eaten here twice, with a toddler. The service is SLOW, even when the place is only half full. The food is good! They offer some "different" pancake offerings. The strawberry-banana is sickeningly sweet, but if you are up for it, delicious. The pancake sandwich, which is two pancakes, an egg, and sausage, is a really good value, and you can get it with their sweet potato pancakes, which are interesting. Also good, but interesting first. The biscuit debris is a great deal at $7 and their sausage gravy is surprisingly tasty. I didn't find anything to be too greasy. They also offer turkey sausage, egg white only omelettes, and sugar-free syrup, whereas I've had other places look at me like I came from Mars when I asked for any of the three. The restrooms are clean and new, but I think they have a vent directly from the kitchen greasetrap- the smell was not good the second time I was in there. I'm hoping that was a one-time occurrence, and it certainly wasn't enough to scare me off after experiencing the general sleaze that is Enid restaurants. The servers here at least appear to wash their hands occasionally, even if some of them douse themselves in cologne. Overall, pretty good. I may have to try lunch here sometime.
