Excellent service, cool atmosphere, and wonderful food. I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and wild rice. Fries were awesome and so was the rice. The sweet tea is to die for.

Horrible! Ordered the sliced brisket had no flavor at all, color of the meat looked old. Ribs were over cooked. Waitress hovered over us and brought us the check and waited for us to sign the check. For the price of the food it should be better quality and taste better then the chain restaurants located down the road. Billy Sims and Rib Crib will definitely be our choice when we are driving thru Claremore! Will NEVER be back!

Ok BBQ. Way over priced for what you get. I had the Wednesday special. It was smoked chicken with two sides. Green beans were straight from a can. Tater tots were under cooked but ok. Chicken was just ok. Gave me free Jalepenos and onions. I don't think I'll ever be back.

Food here is great! Prices are definitely competitive with other BBQ places I have been to. The polish sausage is definitely one to try! BBQ sauce is homemade and tastes amazing! The place looks very homey and the waitresses are super sweet. Overall a wonderful experience!

I would give this place a 5 star rating, but a couple of my ribs were old. Went there for all-you-can-eat beef ribs. The smoke ring went all the way to the bone! The ribs were well above average for a BBQ place and the sauce brought it all home. Always take the special at a BBQ place and you'll always go home happy. Bought 3 jars of sauce, it's that good. The atmosphere is classic as well. Take the family or a couple friends and enjoy this little slice of Route 66.

Great bbq: sliced beef is good: the sides are also tasty: the potato salad, okra, fries, beans and texas toast. Good service. Overall great place with great country atmosphere.

A piece of Claremore history, this place was "the" BBQ place back in the day. The even catered for President Reagan on an occasion or two. The place really hasn't changed much in the last 20 years since I left town. I had the sliced brisket plate, it was sliced a little thin for my taste but the bbq sauce is damn good and the hot is even better. The jalapeño cheese balls are must have. If your ever on route 66 in historic route 66 make this a stop.

This review is long overdue....I was traveling back from Indiana to Arizona and we stopped in OK as our mid point. My husband had been wanting BBQ and so I just was searching for a place. I read the reviews and decided we NEEDED to eat here. The major problem was that there was a TON of construction preventing us from going the route our GPS was suggesting, almost to the point of us not going...but we were determined. We finally go there and it is DEAD...we find out via our amazing waitress that they only had one day notice that the construction was going on and she feared with the decline in people coming that they may not last! I AM HERE TO SAY IT IS WORTH THE DRIVING AND DEALING WITH THE CONSTRUCTION! We had a sandwich (my husband pulled pork, me the sliced beef), fries, fried okra and each a rib!!! TO DIE FOR...and their sauce was delish! I took home a nice size bottle for only $2.95 and promptly cooked up some chicken with the sauce when we came home. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and go get some serious BBQ at Cotton Eye Joes!

I had the sliced beef dinner. The meat was pretty dry. The potato salad and baked beans were good, as well as the fried mushrooms. The service was great and I will probably try the BBQ one more time. Maybe the dry meat was a one time thing. 2 stars for the dry meat, it is a BBQ place after all.

Food was old dry and awful. Overpriced even for barbecue. Bunch of teens running place on Saturday night. Shame shame shame. If by blood sugar had not been low, then I would have told them to put it in the garbage where it belonged. It was so bad I ended up throwing up in the parking lot. It was BAD! Wait staff was awful also!

Been driving past this place for the past three years and just finally decided to go in on a thursday afternoon. What really drew me to the place was that I could see actual smoke coming out of the building. The place was empty as I had missed the lunch rush, but it was nice to see that they could enlarge the space for large crowds. The menu has the standard BBQ fare. I ordered the special sandwich ($10.95), which has chopped beef, smoked bologna and sliced hot links, it also comes with a rib (they gave me two) and a side of potato salad. I also ordered a side salad ($1.75). The salad was out of a bag and the dressing was served in one of those individual serving packets. I wasn't looking for anything special, just needed some roughage before the meat fest. The potato salad was decent. The ribs were great, fell right off the bone just how i like it. You could really taste the smoke. The sandwich was good too, but I found the chopped beef was extremely "chopped". To the point of it being like eating a sloppy joe. Their sauce is good, but a bit too sweet. Their hot sauce though is great and next time I'd just have them use that instead. Next time I go I'll be sure to just get a dinner and go for the sliced beef.

Not near as good as I remembered from years ago. No bark nor smoke flavor nor a smoke ring on the pork and brisket. Both were grey and needed sauce to make them edible. Potato salad was awesome. Tons of pickle and mustard flavor and no eggs. Sorry Cotton, I wish your Q was as good as I remembered but it isn't.
