Good, greasy onion burgers with fries. Nothing remotely fancy -- don't go expecting The Ritz-Carlton. Great place to eat if you're not watching your waistline. Yummers.

We stopped here on the basis of the positive reviews posted and were NOT disappointed! I had the BEST burger in YEARS!! It reminded me of all the burger joints I went to as a kid. Here's what we all ordered: A small double burger A large double burger A Chicago Hot Dog A small triple burger A cheese fries A cheese fries deluxe A corn dog with fries Four drinks The fries were fresh cut, the chili was definitely homemade, so the chili cheese fries were good (I like American cheese on mine vs cheddar) The one order of unadorned fries were a little greasy, but fresh cut are like that and the taste, for me, is way superior anyway! The Chicago hot dog was not authentic but was so good, that it did not matter. The service was prompt and the server was cheerful and helpful, our drinks were kept filled and the food came out really fast. Our order for five people totaled $60. You will look at the exterior and want to flee but persevere, go in, take a seat and wait for the deliciousness to begin!

I was pretty hungry after putting in a window at a rent house... Don't judge. Anyways I started driving down 4th street in search of a non-chain restaurant in Chickaha. There are a few but very few are open after 9pm on a weekday. I stumbled upon this hole in the wall that had the open sign still lit. I walked in around 9:05 and I got the feeling that they were closed. I asked if they were and the lady stated that they closed at 9, but she will check with the kitchen to see if the grill was still on. I could overhear the cook say "Bring it on". After watching movies like "Waiting" and working as a server, I know better than to order right at closing. I believe a sign outside had said that it was Famous Onion Burgers. Apparently having been open for over 4 decades (Opened in 1968) this place has survived thanks to its greasy goodness. My server was a cute girl that was polite and prompt. The other waitress was more concerned with playing the tickle game with her boyfriend in the corner. Mind you, it is after hours, so I shouldn't hold that against them. The place could use a cleaning in the dining area and the bathroom could use some work. The sink was blocked up so I was not going to attempt to use the toilet. As far as the food, it was a pretty good cheeseburger and the fries were hand-cut and hella greasy. I enjoyed every bit of them as I was worn out and starving. The overall courtesy of the older ladies and my waitress were on par and I would come out here if I am back in Chickasha area and greasy food is what I am craving.
