Best hot dogs and chili mac in town. And the onion rings are done just right with crisp coating that isn't greasy and the onions aren't giantic. This has to be the cleanest restaurant in town. They know how to make a great omelet without having a puffed up, dried out omelet. This is my favorite breakfast spot with a friendly staff and an owner who really cares about his customers.

Best HOT DOGS in the WORLD!!!!!!!!! I went to Rudy's three times when I was on my vacation. Go to the Rudy's at 946 W Sylvania Ave Toledo, OH 43612. It is the original location. I always got the 2 hot dog combo with fries. The mozzarella sticks are yummy. The staff is kind and gets your food to you quickly. The owner is almost always their, and a very nice man. The prices are low. I will be back again.

Im sorry but if these are the best hot dogs toledo has to offer no one must get out much! The chili is flat out disgusting and nothing but greasy ground meat with no flavor! And $5 for 2 hot dogs... Its a overpriced Sheetz!!! I know hot dog shops back home that absolutely destroy this place!

Tastes like home. 2 Rudy dogs, fries, and a shake will get the job done for me. It's better to eat inside and play music on the old jute box. They also sell really good deserts, jello and bottled beer. I've been going here all my life and I never intend on stopping! The president likes it... So do I.

I was here 2 or 3 years ago before watching a Mud Hens game, and I believe this is the same location, though I'm not sure. Basically ... one of the best chili dogs that I have ever had, and this is coming from a kid that lives in Michigan. While Rudy's isn't quite as great as Lafayette in downtown Detroit, it's damn close. The chili and hot dog both are absolutely delicious. I didn't have anything else -- that I can recall -- but my friend got a dog and a chili burger and said they were almost equal in awesomeness. I know Tony Packo's is a place in Toledo that seems to be mighty popular, but I much prefer Rudy's for their dogs and chili. Hard to beat a place like this.

This is the site right next to the original Rudy's that competed in close proximity with 7C's Hotdog Shop (now defunct) This place has been in business for a long time and the long line of Greek family members who run it, do it right and the way the locals have loved it. I've never gone here for breakfast, but it is hugely popular for just that for many people. I typically come in for the evening crew and know most of them. I love getting 2 chilli dogs with everything, a bowl of chili and maybe some fries. They do serve beer here and have other great things on the menu. Try an original Rudyburger...Hamburger with Rudy's chili on it (gut bomb delight!) Plenty of pie selection and greek rice pudding. Enjoy the old menu on the wall showing prices from the 'old days' Take your kids...plenty of moose and deer heads hanging on the wall. Plenty of old photos from the family who started this place and original locations. Tip:after eating go across the street to Boyds Candy Store in the pink building across the street. Tons of retro-candies and fun stuff. Obama made a surprise visit here. In the area in West Toledo known as Five Points, named for the intersections going through it.
