We got there at 10pm on a Friday night, only two other families in the restaurant. It took them 30 minutes to cook our food and it sat in the window for 10 minutes while other servers walked past it. I guess our server was on break. When we went to check out the Manager (short blonde, with a tattoo on the back of her neck) asked how everything was, I said " the food was okay (which it was), but the service was slow", her response to that was, "What do you mean, how fast we cooked it." "Yes" "That will be $31.63." End of conversation, no explanation, no apology, nothing. Needless to say I would not recommend this restaurant or truck stop, it was overpriced and the service was SLOW.

We stopped here on Christmas morning for breakfast on the way up to my parent's house. We were definitely not the only ones who decided to do this and the place was pretty hoppin when we got there. Sadly, the experience was not the typical Denny's experience. I usually have no problems with Denny's and expect my food to be good for what it is. This time was actually mildly disappointing. The coffee wasn't that great (though I got decaf, so maybe it was just the decaf). The waitress at one point started to fill my husband's coffee cup with decaf, then remembered he had regular, said oops and filled it the rest of the way with regular. It pretty much ruined the taste of his coffee. He ordered a Grand Slam and I got a 'Build your own Slam'. The hash browns weren't cooked enough, nor were they seasoned at all. I added salt to mine and I never salt my food. Ever. The bacon was really....floppy? It was just not that great, really fatty and not cooked well. My eggs were really good, but the waitress/kitchen staff got my order wrong twice before they figured it out. It was a really disappointing experience at an average restaurant chain. It was probably even more disappointing because it was Christmas morning. I wish we had gone to a different breakfast place.

This place is filthy. There are flys everywhere. The service was horrible. The food was mediocre at best. The burger was ok. The fries were rock hard. The ice tea had a horrible aftertaste. This place needs shut down, gutted and an entire new staff. There was nothing good about this experience whatsoever. I will definitely think twice about ever gonna to a Denny's restaurant again.

I love Denny's!!! The hostess that seated us was very nice. Our server was very attentive & extremely friendly. Knocked 1 star off because it took around 30-40 minutes to get our food, but when we did finally get it, it was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!. I had the cranberry, apple, chicken salad. The candied pecans in the salad were so full of flavor. Better than some I have had at high end restaurants (and we all know Denny's is no where near high-end). My kids & husband devoured their pancakes & bacon. LOVED IT! Thank you!

Airhead waitresses working here... That's all. Only reason these places survive is because of the huge truck stop. Forget about refills, food might be or may not be how you order it, wild guess. But overall, service is the worst thing here.

Great food, great prices, good service. But stay away from the gaming video machines (THEY ARE ADDICTIVE). I love the pancake bites!!!

Denny's has a current obsession with cheese. Avoided that because I like my heart beating. They also have some sort of 2-4-6-8 pricing menu. Took advantage of the $8 one as it included coffee (1.89) and juice (1.89 too). Seriously, $1.89 for coffee? Sell a single cup at .99 and the whole pot is paid for. Ripping customers off. Back to the meal. For $8 I got sausage, bacon, 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and choice of grits, hash browns, or bread. Went with hash browns and over easy eggs. Nailed the latter. The former? Crap. Definitely pre-cooked and held in a pan on the grill. Does anyone know how to make great hashbrowns anymore? The sausages were pinky-sized, but tasty. Bacon was ok. I should have asked for it crispier. I'll take the blame there. The wait staff was very friendly, but a bit too laid back. Made the correct number of trips to the table, but not in the correct amount of time. Yes I notice those things. When the bill arrived there was no instruction as to whether to pay at the table or walk up to a register. Walked up and waited 9 minutes for someone to cash me out. I have always been a fan of Denny's, but this one has made me question that fandom. Especially considering there is a Cracker Barrel just down the street.

A great breakfast each week. I meet with the Buckeye Beemers BMW Motorcycle Club each Sunday for breakfast. Denny's has a good variety and I attempt to vary my order each week.

I am a little embarrassed that I like Denny's. I am basically a healthy eater, like exotic foods and spices, Typically I prefer upscale restaurants with creative menus. However, I always enjoy a meal at Denny's. I wish there was one in Dublin or the Polaris area. Since there is not, the closest Denny's to me is the one on St Rd 37 at Hwy 71. I always used to go prepared to enjoy the food, but to be annoyed. It is practically impossible to get a hostess to seat you. I don't know where they hide, but it is certainly where they can not observe customers arriving. At the end of a meal it is equally as difficult to get someone to show up at the cash register to take payment for the meal. The servers I have had have always been very nice and for the most part reliable and available. Since I like eating at Denny's, my solution to my annoyance is to immediately grab a menu and seat myself as soon as I arrive. I make myself known to the first server that walks within range of me. At the end of the meal when the server checks in to see if I need more coffee or anything else I give them my credit card and ask s/he to please pay my bill for me. While they do not typically do this, I have never been refused. So, now I can eat at Denny's without feeling frustrated and annoyed about their obvious lack of quality customer service -- well, of any customer service at all. I do have to say that I always enjoy my meal which is usually some form of breakfast.

Absolutely terrible. Can't even plate up a simple order of zesty nachos. Cooks are unsupervised. Wait staff will serve any junk that is prepared. Management is delinquent or just plain absent... clearly not overseeing the restaurant. Had to rate 1 star to be able to post... but I wouldn't even give it a 1.

the people are friendly, service is slow, coffee cups have coffee film in the the cup (not washed properly), food was ok, overall less than fair, look at your coffee cup before ordering coffee.

Actually was disappointed. Granted my hopes weren't high for a denny's located inside of a truck stop, but the service was pretty bad for your average diner. -Coffee not refilled in a timely manner -Waitress did not know the menu, asking us to "slow down" as we ordered. -Waitress spilled a tray of food at another table (thank goodness not ours) -Food took a long time to come out, our "quick breakfast" was 45 minutes. -host had to get our check because our server spent her time hanging around the food window. The food itself? just ok. my eggs were cold, but I wanted to get back on the road.

I have never had worse service in my life! 4 of were seated after waiting for the clueless hostess to finally acknowledge us. Once seated, our waitress started off by telling us "I can't take your food orders yet, but can I get you beverages?". Then we WAITED.....we sat for OVER AN HOUR for our food to come...who knows how much longer we would have had to wait, BECAUSE WE LEFT. No apology, no excuse, nothing-- we were never served our food. A table next to us said they waited 45 minutes for their meals. AWFUL, TERRIBLE AND ENTIRELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
