Bad. We waited 45 minutes to get served salty soup and cold dumplings. I sent the hot and sour soup back only to get weird and I do mean weird egg drop soup. I would not describe the scallions as green like a typical egg drop soup should have, rather they were a brown-green vomit color. After 2 bad soups and the cold dumplings that were very average we left without receiving our meal.

Just left.....we love PF Changs but tonight was very disappointing. The bartender who I'll leave his name out had a really bad day, and was slamming things around for an hour. Plates, glasses, and anything he could get his hands on. We were afraid to ask for anything for fear of being yelled at or have a wine glass thrown at us. Our food was great as usual until we found hair in our food, disgustingly! We'll go back since this isn't normal but will probably go to Easton!

Number of visits ~5-7 Generally, I feel that meals at P.F. Chang's are reasonably good. Not too expensive. Not a huge portion for a Chinese place, but you won't leave hungry. However, it's quite chain-like and Americanized, so to me it's not the best Chinese out there. My favorite dish here is probably the crispy honey chicken. To me the crisp rice makes the dish. I've had the spicy chicken, lemon chicken, some kind of fish, and none of them were objectionable. For a Chinese place in Columbus I prefer Hunan Lion, but P.F. Chang's isn't a terrible option, especially if you're among a crowd who isn't too adventurous when it comes to trying places.

For a chain restaurant this place is pretty good. I've been to several locations in a few states and they are pretty consistent. This particular location had super friendly staff and was very clean. Very kid friendly for us, especially for a place that looks like it might not be. Of course when we are in a hurry their "fast food counterpart" (Pei Wei) is pretty good too. The prices are a little high, but service has been excellent.

American Chinese food at its best. Nice, upscale social atmosphere, friendly and helpful wait staff, and fantastic food, not-so-greasy food for an affordable price.

I've dined at multiple different PF's on several different occasions in the past and was never overly impressed with the food or massive horse statue but Ive had a few more pleasant experiences at the Dublin location. Overall I prefer the appetizer menu to the main courses. The crispy green beans and accompanying dipping sauce are fantastic (but really have I ever met a dipping sauce I didn't want to marry? no.) I also adore the chicken lettuce wraps and the crab rangoons . The portions are very large and an app can easily serve as an entire meal. I do no recommend the scallops as I've ordered them several times and they are always over cooked and rubbery. I do give PF's credit for introducing me to one of my current crushes, Chilean sea bass. It is the best thing on the menu and although Ive since had sea bass at several sea food restaurants I'd say PF's version ain't half bad. I enjoy the overall ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant, for a chain restaurant I think it is a pretty good choice for a date or gathering with a few friends. My most recent dining experience, which prompted this review, was a post dinner drink experience wrapping up a sub par first date. Date and I entered the bar around 9 on a Saturday night and the bar was nearly empty. We took seats at the bar and ordered a glass of pinot and a mojito. Date had never had a mojito before and wanted to try something new. The mojito was great as well as the pinot. The bartender was personable and eventually we started talking about sake to which my date remarked he also never tried. The bartender gave us a piping hot "container" on the house and eventually over the course of the evening we sampled several more versions of hot and cold sake and some different versions of plum and ice wines all on the house. The bartender was definitely the highlight of the date as the more sake and wine said date drank the more comfortable he got which involved telling me all about his hobbies (huntin, fishin and beer), favorite foods (pork, onions and fried cheese), and hopes and dreams (to never leave Springfield Ohio). We ended the evening in a heated discussion about whether it was OK to use the "C" word in general conversation (Obv date took the affirmative side on this debate). When the date hit the restroom I quickly paid the tab as I did not trust him to leave an appropriate tip. It is always nice when a chain restaurant can make an experience feel unique. Overall, as chains go, PF Changs is not half bad and it is certainly more likely that Ill return to PF Changs than go on another date with previously mentioned suitor from the sticks.

I always come for lunch and leave with coupons for next time! The food is good just like at every other pf changs! The lettuce wrap are a staple to my dining experience here so I always split and order for an appetizer! For my meal I always end up getting the Mongolian beef with sweet and sour soup! Solid lunch spot! I come because I always know what I will get and they are consistently good! Plus I love the coupons :)

All I can say is I had the best honey shrimp for lunch on Aug. 9, 2014. It was crispy, hot and all around yum. Was able order off lunch menu and portion was just right and price too. Service was grade A and since it was my birthday, I was treated to a slice of salted caramel cake. Smiles all around. I can never get enough Changs....but this visit was exceptional.

Didn't really eat here. Sushi isn't too bad. Deena in the bar is the best. Was in town for business and was a great bartender. Came back a second day to the bar for HH cause of her.

I went in here thinking it would be just another big chain experience. In some ways it was, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was very good- efficient and helpful, without being intrusive. The kitchen was a bit noisy, and that sometimes intruded on conversation. The food was pretty darn good. We had three appetizers: their signature lettuce wraps, which were messy but good; the crab wontons, which were so much better than the typical crab rangoon at most Chinese places; and the northern-style spare ribs, which were excellent. Ribs at a Chinese restaurant aren't a big surprise; good ones are, and they even have two types on the menu, so I'll have to go back to try the other ones, and an entree.

PF Chang's has been around forever, and it seems like they have gotten more laxed with their food quality in recent years. We did the meal for 2 deal, and I was not impressed with any part of our meal. We started out with Won Ton soup which I had to ask for because it wasn't listed on the menu. When it came out, it was incredibly salty and definitely not the greatest. Then we shared chicken lettuce wraps which is always my favorite part of a meal at PF Chang's. Sadly though, I was disappointed to see brown spots all over the lettuce, proving that it wasn't fresh. For an entree, I tried the ginger chicken with broccoli which was fine, but not the greatest. The chicken seemed a tad undercooked for my liking, and it was drenched in sauce. And the dessert portion of the meal for 2 is a joke. The "dessert wontons" are a bite size piece of fried dough filled with a custard. They were oily and the custard filling part wasn't very good. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed and our bill was still around $50... I wouldn't say it was worth that at all.

Underwhelmed PF Chang's used to be a go to spot. I hadn't been for some time and this visit doesn't make me want to start going again. Was excited to go and left with a very blah feeling. It has changed, don't know if it's a location thing or a chain thing. We went on a Sunday evening, we made a reservation but don't think it was needed and after eating there I see why. The quality and quantity have declined but the prices have increased dramatically. The food was cold, portion size was small, the presentation was poor, and taste was nothing spectacular. Service was ok. Total waste of time and money.

Good food listed on a menu that is almost too expansive. Friendly and attentive service.

The interior is clean & modern. The servers are very attentive and friendly. The food tastes good. So why only 3 stars? Because I care about staying true to a traditional recipe. I feel this place takes way too much liberty in Americanizing Chinese food... so much so to the point where the final product has no resemblance to the original recipe. You'll love eating here if you have limited knowledge of Chinese food. But if you're used to authentic Chinese food, you may be disappointed since you may not get what you're expecting. For example, I ordered ma po tofu the last time I ate here. A typical ma po tofu is stir-fried in a spicy szechuan style chili sauce with bits of pork or beef and served with a side of white rice. The ma po tofu here is deep fried and basted on what tastes like general tso's sauce, with no meat in it, and served with a side of broccoli. It tasted fine... but it was not ma po tofu. Had they called it general tso's tofu, I would be a lot less annoyed. We also ordered oolong tea, which had a significantly floral flavor to it... like jasmine tea. I like jasmine tea, but I ordered oolong tea. Call me an authenticity snob or whatever, but I have to say P F Chang's might be the most unauthentic Asian restaurant ever. My wife (who hates authentic Chinese food) would love it here. But I guess it's not for me.

I have to give P.F. Chang's points because we tried to go to a certain steakhouse down the road and were really disappointed. P.F. Chang's did enable us to have a nice dinner! Not perfect, but nice. We came in and were told about happy hour prices, so we sat in a booth by the bar. Some of their happy hour prices were quite appealing (others, not so much - even a discounted California roll was still $6, when I'm used paying closer to $3-$4 at actual sushi restaurants). I got their $3 spiked tea and my boyfriend got the dumplings. I tried a dumpling, it was pretty good. My tea was really good! It was one of those drinks where you know there's alcohol in it but it doesn't really taste of it, which I can always appreciate. For $3, I had two. Delicious! Then we ordered our entrees. I had the lobster fried rice, a new addition to the menu. My boyfriend had a beef dish. My lobster fried rice left a lot to be desired and is probably my main reason for giving them 3 stars. Instead of the rice tasting buttery and salty as I expected, it was a bit flavorless. This was disappointing, because I've had some amazing lobster fried rice from take out places for about a fifth of the cost of the $17+ lobster fried rice here. The only flavors I did taste were kind of jarring - lots of parsley, cilantro, and scallions, I think? Whatever it was, I can still taste it after brushing my teeth twice, which is funny because I felt like I wasn't tasting much at all as I was eating it! The lobster was good but there wasn't enough of it to justify the cost or the low quality of the rice. The beef was pretty good - I liked the potatoes and broccoli too. My boyfriend definitely won with his entree. We got dessert - a chocolate dome cake and two vanilla wontons. Those were very good. The dome cake was almost a fudgey texture, which I loved. The wontons were warm and sweet, albeit quite small. Our waitress, though doing double duty as a bartender, was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a good time here and there were lots of great parts, but the lobster fried rice really sunk this rating for me. It was a new addition to the menu, so maybe it won't be on there long and I just picked a bad dish. The prices are pretty steep so even if I had loved it, P.F. Chang's wouldn't be a regular stop for us. Still, glad we tried it!

PF Changs has dropped a notch on my scale of late. I'm not sure if it's an economic thing to cut costs or just the evolution of an aging chain. I used to LOVE going here exclusively for the Mongolian Beef and Pork Dumplings. We decided to do the day-after-Fathers-Day-dinner Monday night and was quite disappointed; so much so, I will probably take PFs off my list of restaurants on my rotation. I ordered the same dishes. The dumplings have gotten a bit smaller and are no longer served with potsticker sauce. They are drizzled with a chili sauce that is so skimpy it can barely be tasted. The portion on the Mongolian Beef is smaller and the recipe has changed. The meat was thicker and not as seared with the sweet soy it once was. However, the prices are not slimmer as the dish was $16.99 I think. I could tell the portions have shrunk because I was nowhere near having any take-home (which I normally did). And the last thing is they no longer bring out the sauce trio. You can ask for it, but they do not proactively bring it out and mix it up. My wife had the Chicken Lo Mein and said something was different about it too. I know PFs is not authentic Chinese (which I also love) but it was tasty food at okay prices. It's a shame that it no longer has the same standards it once did.

Had a lovely dinner catching up with friends at this PF Chang's location. Our server was very patient with us, as we were more interested in chatting than deciding on our orders. Once we did decide, our meals came out very promptly and were tasty. I went a strange route and ordered sides as my meal. The spring rolls were good and just lightly fried enough to give a good crisp -- not soaking with oil. I would have liked a different dipping sauce, the sweet chili was a bit bland. The vegetable dumplings were okay, but I'm not sure I liked them enough to order again. Presentation was nice, though! I LOVE their wonton soup. They add more than just dumplings and broth (water chestnuts, shrimp, chicken, mushrooms) so it's a bit more textural and interesting than typical places. My absolute favorite part of the order was the side of Spicy String Beans. Yum! While they were salty (deliciously so), they were a perfect mix of garlic, soy and a slight bit of heat... I could have used a bit more spice. I can't vouch for the entrees, but overall we each had a good meal, every order came out correctly and seemed to be enjoyed.

You know how when you get an Asian dish set in front of you and the steam hits your nose? That aroma tells you how good it's going to be good even before you taste it. It's called Wok Hei and unfortunately it didn't happen here. The flavors were fairly bland even though I asked for hot and spicy. Not much fish sauce, peanut or any particular taste at all. It wasn't bad, but it made me think of the flavors you'd get in a frozen dinner. Adding some extra crushed peanuts, soy sauce and chili sauce helped it out a bit but it was still so-so at best. Also, P F Changs "velvets" their proteins which means they dust them in corn starch before it hits the oil in the wok. The idea being that the corn starch holds the flavors better. It also helps to crisp up the outside of the proteins, sealing in the moisture. Basically they didn't cook it quite long enough as the shrimp was kinda mushy / gummy and it was not crisped up like it should have been. I also found it to be odd that it wasn't served with a lime wedge or bean sprouts. First time I've ever had Phad Thai without these before. I got everything quickly, a little too quickly as my dinner arrived about 4 or 5 minutes after the soup and that's not a big issue for me but might explain the meh entree I got. Oh well. I've had some very good dinners here but this wasn't one of them. Phad Thai w/Shrimp, Cup of Hot and Sour Soup and a pot of Dragon Eye (wonderful) tea set me back $20.91...so it's not a cheap lunch folks.

It took forever for the phone to let me download Yelp. Anyhoo, I was there a couple of Sundays ago. I got food for lunch snd dinner. I had the lettuce wraps, chicken satay, and the seasonal spring rolls. For dessert, I has the cheesecake wonton and the dessert that had the coconut ice cream with it. The food was amazing! Now, let's talk about the service. I didn't think it was possible, but the service was so spectacular, it was better than the food. When you go to PF Changs, make sure to ask for Amy as your server. She's amazing!...warm, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, etc. She only added pluses to my food experience and made the money I spent worth every penny.

Update: Haven't been in this location for over 8 month. Finally I was able to travel again and for sure first night in town I went here with a colleague. True story, this is what happened. Walked in and decided to take the high tables in the bar area. Saw the bartender who I know from my last trips. We sat down and decided what to order. While we were settling in the bartender went to the kitchen and brought out the gluten-free sauces. Coincidence I thought not noticing that this was for our table. I have to eat gluten-free. My colleague ordered what he wanted to eat and I knowing the menu already knew what I wanted. Bartender came and asked me if I want the gluten-free Shaking Beef. He remembered first that he knows me, second he remembers I'm gluten-free and on top he brought the beer I can drink and knows my fav. dish. You have no idea how great that is when you walk in and it is almost like being home. My colleague was as impressed as I was. I know that service is big in the USA ( I'm from Germany) and might be PF Chang policy to treat your customer well but what happens to me is beyond the regular customer service... Well done hiring the right people... Chain or no chain restaurant it is the people working there who make it a great experience. I can only recommend this location. When I'm in town I try to hang out there as often as possible. Blown away... Thanks for this fantastic experience...

Went to this location with my husband, for a belated anniversary lunch on the weekend. Quiet and serene, which I prefer. Ordered the Tuna Tataki as an appetizer. The Ahi tuna was good, although slightly gritty; I've had a lot silkier and smoother...but it was still tasty nonetheless. The toppings were quite scarce. (The accompanying seaweed salad was pleasing.) That aside, it was still a good appetizer; cleared the plate. For lunch, I ordered the Coconut Curry Vegetables, and my husband ordered the Sweet-n-Sour Pork dish. The serving was plentiful, veggies seemed pretty fresh (although I wasn't given much tofu in ratio to the other vegetables). I didn't care for the sauce/seasoning that much (it was good, but not great). I asked for the dish to be spicy, which they did honor, and gave it a nice kick. Overall, the dish was satisfactory, but I've had better tofu dishes at other places. My husband said his dish was pretty good, but didn't seem awed by it as he has with other pork dishes he's tried at other Asian places. The waiter was super-nice, very classy, yet funny and personable. All in all, the place was good and I would go there again, but try other dishes.

It's been years since we were here last, but my husband and I stopped for dinner after suit shopping at JCP Tuttle one night this week. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. The veggie spring rolls are excellent, the wine selection very good, and my coconut curry vegetables entree was wonderful. The leftovers were even better for lunch the next day.

My wife and I went there for a late lunch around 3:30 on a weekday and had the resturant to ourselves. We ordered the egg rolls which I think were the best I've ever had. Their fry is perfect and very light and flaky. I ordered the salmon off the lunch menue and she ordered the lettice wraps off the happy hour menu. Both of were very pleased with our meals. Just barely had room for the fried banana and ice cream desert. That was a little rich for me but the ice cream was amaizing.

Food quality and portion sizes have suffered greatly since they opened 10+ years ago.. I sometimes think the only seasoning they have is overly salty soy sauce. We have been to this restaurant at least 15 or 20 times, both dine in and carry out. Chicken is rubbery/gristle and poor quality. Vegetables in the dishes are always terribly overcooked with no texture or flavor remaining. Sauces are bland, salty with little spice. Hard to find much good to say about them but decent drink prices at happy hour.

Yeah, just like my other Chang's review - not a big fan of this place, but had lunch here with the boss the other day. I had their sweet & sour chicken over rice - pretty good, but not the best in the area. Reasonable priced though.

Always pleased when I eat at PF Changs. Lettuce wraps are awesome and don't get me started on the Kung pao shrimp. The only thing I would change are there draft beer glasses bigger is better I feel like I'm at a gourmet restaurant

I've always liked PFC, especially the lettuce wraps. However, this particular visit left me wondering if they're starting to begin the downhill slide. I'm an admitted clean freak, and my main issue here was the lack of cleanliness. The cruets on the table needed a good wipe. At PFC, they always bring out a plate with three sauces to make their own house sauce. However, the one our waiter brought to our table had obviously been on a previous table. The tables themselves were dirty...it just overall needed a good cleaning. I got one of my favorite dishes, the oolong-marinated sea bass. It took a long time to get to us, and it didn't taste fresh. All in all, it was a disappointing meal.

Not our best experience. My salad was just some pre-cut bag lettuce on a plate. My wife's honey chicken was so spicy she could not eat it. Manager apologized but didn't even offer to comp our appetizer. Usually better service at this location.

We went on a Thursday night around 7:30. It seemed pretty busy, but no wait. We were seated immediately. Boy, it's really freakin loud in there! We decided to get the 4-course meal "for two" deal for $39.99, then we ordered an additional lettuce wrap. First course was the hot & sour soup, which was the consistency of gravy. It had no flavor, was cold and had a kind of "horse-smell" taste to it. Don't ask, I grew up on a horse farm, and this stuff tasted like horses smell. Lettuce Wraps: These came with 4 pieces of lettuce and enough filling for 6+. They were ok, but were made better with the sauces they bring to your table. I've had better. Steamed dumplings: These were your average steamed dumplings, but were kind of oily. These were OK... Entrees: Someone in the kitchen messed up someone else's order so we were also brought someone else's broccoli and beef, so we had extras. Kung Pao Scallops: which were an ADDITIONAL $3 to be a part of the 4-course thing (which I did not realize until we got our bill). And honestly this was the only dish I thought was worth a second visit. Fried scallops in this spicy, salty, semi-sweet sauce with peanuts and green onion. We both agreed this was pretty great and were eager to try the other two dishes we ordered. Orange Peel Beef: The beef was like eating styro-foam and the sauce was awful. I took two bites and moved onto the beef and broccoli... how bad can that be messed up? Beef & Broccoli: Well pretty badly apparently. The broccoli was over-cooked and tasted kind of fishy, like maybe it was steamed in the same water as some shrimp was? IDK... but I'm not a huge fan of thick sauces and both the beef dishes had thick, gloppy, gelatinous ooze coating them. And the beef in this was the same styro-foam crap as the orange beef. The steamed rice was ok. But my husband was kind of annoyed with the fact that he asked if he could have fried rice and the waiter informed him "well... we technically have fried rice, but I can't serve it to you unless it's lunch time or you order it in a children's meal." WTF!?!? By this point, we were both ready to cut it as a loss and take this junk home and see if it was any better cold the next day, but the waiter reminded us we still had dessert coming. Ok. So I ordered the blueberry cheesecake and hubs wanted some cake thing. Well with the meal for TWO, you only get ONE dessert. Ok whatever, we got the cheesecake to go. I opened it at home and it was seriously a 1.5 inch wide sliver of cheesecake. I ate it later and it was ok. The stuff in a DQ blizzard is better... All in all, it was kind of a surprise. Many people have told me over and over again "ZOMG!! This is the best freaking Chinese food you will ever eat!" Well, they're all liars. And good lord, it was expensive for the tiny servings! Other reviews go on and on about the giant portions. We got about 1.5 cups of food on our plates. Maybe the 4-course portions are smaller. The "regular" menu scallops was $20, so I certainly would hope they'd serve a little more. So again, expensive... our shared meal deal which was $39.99, plus 2 sodas and an appetizer came out to be $75 before tip. Maybe we're cheapskates? But I always thought you got what you paid for... The service WAS good, our server was very attentive and pleasant and checked on us enough but not so much to be obnoxious. MAYBE I'd get the scallops again for carry-out, but I wouldn't dine-in again. There's too many way better REAL Chinese restaurants in Columbus! This place was too Yuppy-Chinese for me!

This is the first time I've been to PF's in awhile. I should just type lettuce wraps and call it a day cause they sure are good. Went to lunch with one of my girlfriends this weekend and got seated right away. They keep the lighting kinda dim here, which is fine with me (nice place for a date). We ordered the lettuce wraps for an appetizer. I love using that sauce they mix up at the table for you. A little soy sauce, chili paste and a teeny tiny dab of the chinese mustard. I had the crisp honey shrimp, my friend had the sesame chicken. The honey shrimp was really really good. No dessert for us today but if I had to pick my top 5 favorite desserts in Columbus, the crisp banana wonton/egg roll thingy from PF's would be on that list. SO good. Oh darn, I just remembered they have phenomenal salt & pepper calamari and now am pissed we didn't get that instead of the lettuce wraps.....well he!! will just have to go back again soon.

I am going to own up to it immediately I am biased about the server as she is close to me so she was great : ) She really was though. We started with the Happy Hour Dim Sum and it was quite tasty. Be it known that if you get the Happy Hour Dim Sum you do get less dumplings (4) but that is quite enough if you get two entrees to split as well. Steve got a very interesting dish called Shaking Beef and I got Spicy Chicken. He ordered Brown Rice so I ordered White rice. The Shaking Beef was very good and so was the spicy chicken, they supply you with all sorts of condiments for dipping your entire meal, and while it is not Chinese take out it is still a nice place to go occasionally for some interesting combinations mmmm so good

It's PF Chang's. I use to visit this location once or twice a month when I lived in the area. The Mongolian Beef is fantastic. The hot and sour soup is good too. The service and food is better than most chain restaurants.

This is the third time here but it's been more then a year since last time. Ordered the chicken with cashews and almonds. Not the best. But I do like the option they give you for brown rice. Got to get something healthy in instead of a complete cheat meal. Will be back for sure just not very frequently.

I haven't been to P.F. Chang's in years, but I had the pleasure of dining there for lunch today. Yes, I said "pleasure of dining there" because you know what? The food tastes good. I know the "Eat This, Not That" guy David Zinczenko loves to hate on this place, but I love to hate on him, because he's a horrible kill joy that sucks the fun out of everything and probably eats corrugated cardboard for breakfast. But enough of that. Chang's has a huge menu, and tons of gluten-free options if that's a thing you do. They also offer smaller portions of many of their popular menu items, including their sides. That's something that most chain restaurants don't do, so kudos to them for that. I had the shrimp dumplings off of the "small plate" menu, the shanghai cucumbers, and a cup of egg drop soup, the three of which were under $15 total, which I'd say is a pretty darn good deal. While I didn't order them this go-round, I remember their banana spring rolls as being pretty freaking fantastic. Bananas are better when they're fried, (just like almost everything else, in my opinion.)

PF Chang was a unique experience. A large crowd..trying their hands on fusion food.. I call it fusin food because its neither chinese nor american nor thai.. but carefully crafted hybrid food to the liking of taste buds of locals.. They have a sepaerate section on Vegetarian food and marked spicy food too.! I was with a friend from my work place and were busy discussing office issues ... Not a great place for business meeting but good for family or friends....!

I am not a Chinese food fan, but I asctually like this place. I have yet to go to one that I did not like. I can honestly say that most of them are pretty consistent and the food is good. For a chain restaurant, this is one of the better ones. the atmosphere is modern andupbeat and the staff are friendly. Even the take out is pretty decent.

I had never been to a P.F. Chang's before my visit yesterday. I rarely go to any corporate places, but heck, we gave it a go. First, I must compliment the server. Not only was she attentive, she was quick to answer questions abou the food and she could adequately describe a beer that one of our guests had never tried. I ordered the Mandarin Chicken which was sweet and spicy. It could have used more vegetables but overall delicious. I must say that the best thing our crowd ordered was a large serving of the Asparagus. Can I just yelp out a YUM on behalf of all asparagus lovers?!

Standard chain restaurant caveats - very Americanized version of Chinese cuisine, plenty of grease and salt, nothing all that special, but.... Good prices for good sized portions. Usually good service. Vegetarian lettuce wraps are super yummy as an appetizer, and their version of Ma Bo Tofu (forgetting exactly what they call it here - fried tofu, spicy sauce, crisp tender broccoli) is one of my all time fav "Chinese" dishes. Also love that the brown rice. A lot of cheap, American Chinese restaurants your only option is white rice or fried, but P.F. Chang's has nice, tender brown rice as an alternative to white. And per Kevin's comment, 3.5 stars for food, another.5 star for NOT being at Easton!

During PF Chang's earlier days, someone had suggested going there for some adventurous Chinese food; he'd just dined there earlier in the week and the food was "off the hook!!!" Zoinks! (I'm a huge Scooby Doo fan and a big dork for that matter.) The adventurous part reeled me in. Uhh... I felt like I had been tricked. I told my dining companion to check out the nearest Chinatown for, first of all, REAL Chinese food and, secondly, to take note of items such as chicken feet, pork intestines, stinky tofu, and fish heads. Now that's courageous eating. So back to PFC. It is definitely a place that feels that it should be pricier than it is. Then you look at the lack of authenticity of the food and its poor quality and wish that such a thought had never crossed your mind, ever. I'll admit the warrior statues and horses are impressive, and the chain seems to have an obsession with ostentatious Imperial Chinese displays and design. It's actually to the point, however, that it's overly pretentious, and it seems as though PFC is trying a wee bit too hard to tackle the impression that you're inside a real Chinese restaurant (as opposed to an Americanized Chinese restaurant.) Portions are certainly decent but not to the point where you'll be exploding, say, if you were to attempt to clean off your plate. Service was attentive without being obtrusive, but sadly, that's all PFC has got to offer.

Very slow and inadequate service. We were seated at 8 and left at approx 9:30pm (party of 5.) From start to finish there were issues. Drinks: gave the wrong soda drinks to the wrong people, including root beer to someone who ordered Diet Coke, then regular coke to someone who ordered Diet Coke. Appetizers: ordered the lettuce wraps, which were delivered promptly but without any of the sauces/oils. 5 minutes passed before we even saw our server to ask for the sauce, then another several minutes before it was brought to us. All the while we stared at our plate of lettuce wraps sitting in the middle of the table. I ordered Beef Lo Mein and asked for it spicy. There was no spice to it at all. Other orders at the table of scallops and Mongolian beef were each happy with theirs; the couple who ordered the asian grilled salmon said there was nothing asian grilled about it, that it was just plain salmon. Next, we were celebrating my nephews 18 birthday so we arranged to have two small dessert "shots" brought out, his with a candle. The two small dessert shots were delivered, one with an unlit candle. In addition, no one else at the table was offered the dessert menu at all. Really? Time for the bill...10 minutes later after we had to again track down our waiter, another 5 minutes to get the bill, we received our bill and paid. Since partial payment was on a gift card we told the waiter the amount to charge separately on our Credit Card and exactly what his tip should be in that. He brought it back out for our signature and had written down for himself $5 MORE into his tip amount than we told him to. His response, as was with everything all evening "I don't know what happened!" The bill was adjusted, credit card reran, etc etc. $75 later (for 3 of us) and a botched birthday dinner all the way around, I awoke Sunday morning to realize through all of the confusion with my bill my credit card was left at the restaurant. I was able to retrieve it without further incident. Overall, just a really really disappointing experience. Makes me sad because have typically enjoyed PF Changs in the past. Not sure if it was our server (Jason) or this location?

First things first...Awesome service! I was out on a business dinner and every time I drained my beer, rather than asking how everyone was, he would stand beside me and quietly ask if i would like a refill...FRIKKIN SUPERSTAR!!!!! The dinner was OK, not good. I had some twice roast beef dish with what seemed to be the top off of every green onion (you know the dark green bit that splits into two or three) in Columbus..what was that about? I like green onion, but sometimes the good bit rather than the Rabbit leftovers would have been nice :) The meal had a nice spice but perhaps just a little dry considering it was accompanied by plain rice. Next time I will try somewhere else. The business was good, but hey, I am a professional! Onto Toronto Pronto Tonto!

Just like all the other PF Chang's - good food, good service, well-designed menu, etc. As an added bonus, this one isn't at Easton, so it's a little less packed at peak shopping times.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
