Mooney's is a staple whenever I go to my grandparents house! Their fresh, delicious donuts are a welcome sight when I wake up in the morning after a long drive in. On Easter weekend, we didn't get in town until about 4am. My grandma asked what we wanted for breakfast in the morning - I mentioned how I had been craving the donuts they always have when we visit. My favorite donuts are Boston Cream, which was what I asked for when she said she would make a trip there later in the morning. Mooney's had been cleaned out of most of their donuts by the time my grandma showed up to buy some, it being Easter weekend. However, when my grandma mentioned that I specifically asked for a BC, the woman went back and filled two donuts they had left with the custard and frosted it for me - a special request order filled at the drop of a hat! Customer service like that always wins my heart over. Their donuts still taste pretty fresh, even after a day sitting in the box. They're delicious and I look forward to eating them every time I make it back to Conneaut!

Enjoyed some fabulous donuts from Mooney's over the holidays. They were light, fluffy, flavorful and delicious! The shop had a great selection. I base my donut reviews on the quality of cream-filled, chocolate-frosted long johns. Mooney's hit the mark perfectly! The overall donut wasn't too heavy, the cream was light and sweet, and the frosting actually tasted of chocolate. Can't wait to return for some more!

Oh my goodness gracious!!! I've been to 6 different continents (missing Africa) and these are by far the BEST donuts I have ever had in my life! The donuts were fresh...very light and the cream (which I don't normally like) is extra fluffy. The blueberry cream filled was heavenly. I also sampled the cinnamon bun (yum!) and apple fritter (also good but a bit denser than the others). After getting home with our dozen donuts I literally sent my husband right back to get a second dozen because he told me they don't open on Sundays and we will be heading home. I'm adding this one to my "must visit" list whenever we come back in town. Fantastic!

When my family comes to town, they always want to know when we're going into town to that little donut place, which of course is Mooney's! The donuts are like no other. They are just the right density, the frosting is perfect, and I can't even get out of my parking spot without eating one first. My favorite is the maple frosting! So, so good!
