If you want bad food at cheap prices then this is your place. We paid a reasonable price for the breakfast special, but little did we know that a day later we would still be paying for the breakfast special. ( burp...groan...) Not sure if it was the fried eggs or shortening soaked home fries...Do not eat there.

We stopped here because it was the only restaurant listed on yelp in the area. As described earlier, it's seedy. After looking around and using the scary bathrooms, we decided breakfast would be the safest choice. The bacon and home fries were very good. The pancakes were adequate. Both poached and fried eggs were over done. Coffee was really weak, we are not strong coffee lovers, so this is saying something. Toast was burnt and grits could be used to pave a road. Our waitress was very nice. She was the highlight of our stop. My husband looked longingly at the McDonald's across the road. He does not go to McDonald's.

loved my time here. Relva was a delightful hostess and the food was far better than seemed possible for the breadth of the menu. i would definitely visit here again, likely with a posse of folk to enjoy it with. it's a total dive, but in a classy way. loved it.

This was my first time to this little restaurant. The atmosphere is definetly dated and even seedy. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries and another cheeseburger with onion rings. We also got one coke. The total bill was 10 dollars and 10 cents. The review accurately describes the place with faux stone walls and the Longhorns. All our food items were delicious. The buns were toasted. We will go back again and try the broasted chicken when we have more time. They still take cash or check only.

I'm a Homer. Being this is the closest restaurant to my home, I've been there a few times. I recommend the pressure fried (broasted) chicken & jo jo potatoes. The prices are the lowest around. You can get lunch for $4 to $5. Prices are about 10 years behind.

First, this place only takes cash, so be prepared. we came on a monday night after traveling from VA. place was empty. they had Two and A Half Men playing on the tv, laugh track and all. food was ok. we had the pressure cooked fried chicken with potato. the chicken was great. potato was literally an entire potato sliced in four and fried. a little too much potato for me. food was fresh for a diner, not too greasy. but just ok. the bathroom was a bit scary as well. 3 stars because it was super cheap and i felt bad for the teenage waitress who had to work here on a monday night.

this place is a find. it's small and looks like a little white house of the main drag. it's a little truck stop--very kitchy interior--old bar stools, wood paneling, faux stone walls and a huge set of horns. they have a rather large menu considering there were only two people working when i was there. pressure cooked chicken sounded fantastic, but i ended up getting their grilled bologna sandwich. they have 2 homemade soups daily--chili was pretty good. the place is beyond reasonable. for 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches, 1 soup and 1 salad the bill came in at like $10. if it wasn't so far away for me i'd be a regular for sure. the corkboard at the one end had some of the most interesting business cards ever--tree climber, handiman, horseshoe guy. you name it. wish i'd taken a pic of that.
